Joey Drew Archive 4/4
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We finally have the date when Arch Gate bought Bendy IP: 1972. This would be around the time when Audrey got employed and sucked inside the inky world. To recap: Henry visited Joey in 1963, 9 years prior. Meaning that Audrey could very well have been the girl whose voice we hear at the end of BATIM, now all grown up!
The article also confirms what we’ve long suspected: Joey Drew is dead!
Curiously, it states here that Arch Gate Pictures was formed after Nathan bought Bendy IP. This could only mean two things:
The Arch Gate studio, which employed Allison at the end of BATIM, belonged to Nathan’s son, Nate Arch Jr, not to Nathan himself, and for some reason Nathan took over his son’s studio around the time when the steel industry experienced a crisis (if you look at my “dreamfisher certified” tag, you’ll find a post where I go into details about this theory, the hints about we’ve been given so far, and what it could mean for Nathan’s relationship with his son that I hope to see explored in BATDR).
Joey was exchanging letters with Allison from the future
Both are not impossible, though I’m personally more inclined to think it’s the former. This is important, because Nathan and his son share the same first and last name, which means that not every reference to “Nathan Arch” that we’ll see in the game will be about the same person. We’ll have to be very careful to distinguish which Nathan did what. For all we know, they might have a vastly different personality.

Anon from the yugioh post here!! ITS SO HARD TO CHOOSE A FAVORITE!!
I had a fat crush on like everyone, Mai was kind of my awakening to liking girls, I think I was definitely the most attached to Bakura and Yugi (I didn’t have a preference for if they were possessed or not)
but I could seriously go on about Kaibas character arcs for hours and I love Joey too (his stupid accent in the 4kids dub is the best, and I was surprised to find out he kinda talks like that in the manga too? Also the hair style switch in that one chapter of the manga was so cool, but I digress)
Im also behind on GX and 5DS and any other spin-off , I’ve been meaning to watch them , I’ll let you know when I do, for that, could I take up residence here as 🦜 anon?
🦜 anon if is! 😉 and for real!!!! Ugh they’re all so good in different ways 😌
Mai is a certified badass 💪 I love how she eventually comes around to being friends with everyone 🤭 and yes! I love both Bakuras equally; one’s just a sad loner who loves the occult and the other is a homicidal maniac with a vendetta 🥰
The Kaiba brothers deserve the world 👏 👏 👏 their whole backstory made me cry the first time reading it 🥺 and I wouldn’t trade the 4Kids dub for anything. The VA may be cheesy but that’s my literal childhood 🤣 Joey Wheela’ included 😂
Yes, please let me know! I’ll post any update if I finally get around to them 😝 this is making me wanna go back and rewatch it all. I made an RE x YGO crossover meme from season 1. I’ll see if I can find it 😂

Please imagine your baseball faves (whoever you want) do that video about what surprising topic they know lots about and tell me what their answers would be thank u x
Thank you for asking my love!!!
From my hit YouTube series, Major League Baseball Explains The Secrets of The Universe......
I don't know one dang thing about Brent Rooker (Oakland Athletics) so he's not really a favorite, but I need. I NEED. him to explain what he meant when he said that he knows a lot about aliens. King what do you mean. What kind of aliens? Fictional aliens? Real aliens? Brent, what are your favorite government UFO conspiracies? Brent, I need to know more. Brent come back here.
Joey Votto (Cincinnati Reds) is only a fave in that way where I want him to [loud train horn blaring drowns me out for the next five minutes] but he is also one of baseball's most fascinating men bc he is out here making leather daddy dreams come true while being a certified crochet instructor and documenting his chess league win-loss record and also like playing baseball or whatever. Anyway bc of the crochet thing, I want him to teach me about shibari but using Bo Bichette (Toronto Blue Jays) to demonstrate. Wait what
I would like Blake Sabol (San Francisco Giants) to explain the rules of American football to me, I still wouldn't understand but I feel like he'd make an honest effort and I'd at least try to pay attention. This isn't a surprise secret knowledge, because he is an American male athlete, but American football is a mystery to me
Need Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Toronto BJs) and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (Arizona Diamondbacks) to team up to teach me every swear word they've ever learned (all languages) but midway through teaching me creative ways of swearing in Korean that they learned from their teammates, I want to find out that Lourdes is actually really into Latine diaspora poetry and suddenly international swear words 101 become Lourdes reciting to me (enraptured and in tears) and Vladdy (bored, half-asleep on Lourdes' shoulder) his favorite diaspora poetry in their original language.
And finally, I would like a panel of the oldest men in existence (the 2021 San Francisco Giants) to talk to me about the hobbies they picked up post-career and I want to find out Buster Posey and Ryan Vogelsong do French pour together bc it is literally the only thing that could make me love them less but I want Buster to describe the act of making such art so poetically in his wonderful Georgia accent that I feel moved to try it myself even though I think french pour sucks.
Oh!!! I forgot my all time favorite Tim Lincecum (San Francisco Giants). Sorry Timmy. I want him to teach me psychoactive teas and then tell me about his favorite aliens while he's preparing kava. Brent Rooker can guest co-host that episode.

Yet another Dark Revival spoilers post. No I will not stop.
WHaT tHE FUdGe?! CANON HENRY DESIGN?!? Sammy?! Bertrum?! Does this mean all the OG characters are Cyclebreakers?! But most importantly WHERE'S BUDDY AND MY POOR BOY NORMAN
Audrey I'm sorry but if you really think listening to Wilson is a good idea you're wrong and stupid.
Maybe it's my love for little baby boy Bendy - which was NOT killed with the reveal! - but I think I finally get why Sammy worshipped the Ink Demon so obsessively. Like at this point I really would trust him over the crazy one-eyed janitor who may or may not be the son of either Joey or Henry.
Is Betty a failed version of Audrey? I'm going to assume Betty is a failed version of Audrey.
Oh hey Susie, glad you managed to claw your way out of the ink and back into your preferred form. Also please stop calling Audrey "honey." Do you want shippers? Because that's how you get shippers.
Everybody gangsta til the Angel get the AK-47 (yes I know that's not what it is but the actual name doesn't sound as funny)
Susie getting stabbed is a certified "aw man not again" moment. Also AlliSusie shippers (or whatever you call it) come get y'all juice

Mental Health - Break the Stigma
My beautiful bride posted this on “The Facebooks”  and it’s important and she gave me permission to share it here, word for word: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Recently, I was struggling with depression, and I may be still, but it wasn't until this year that our insurance covered mental health services.  I wasn't aware I was depressed until it started to get a bit better. That doesn't mean the depression magically left, it means there was enough of a break in the clouds that I could see the sky again. Two things happened that caused me to notice.
One, at least a small part of my depression was hormonal. I was prescribed some estradiol 0.01% estrogen cream by my urologist because it could help with my interstitial cystitis. I'm perimenopausal, so my estrogen is dropping and it caused a hormonal depression.  What caused me to realize this was happening was after I used the estradiol and it was like I had just mainlined some espresso! For the first time in a long time, I felt so good! I had more energy and I was raring to get some things done!
Before I had used estradiol, a friend had told me of her hormonal depression and how hormone therapy helped her. I didn't think I was depressed. I had just been through a world fracturing loss immediately followed by several other losses, so it made sense I was down. I was grieving, but I didn't know it was depression and that my hormones had hopped on for the ride.  As I examined my physiological response to the medicine, I began to connect the dots, and that's when I could see the depression for what it was. It was like coming out of a haze. This is what spurred the second thing to happen. I began to look at how I was feeling and my responses more closely. Overthinking came in handy at this part as I turned everything over and examined it more closely. I could see that over the last 2-3 years my communication with friends and acquaintances had dropped off dramatically. Only the very closest people to me were getting some kind of regular communication, even though that was a struggle sometimes. It wasn't that I didn't care or didn't want to know how others were doing, and if someone had reached out to me for help I would've done my best to help them, but I couldn't reach out for myself because I didn't know I needed help. That realization lifted a significant chunk of the haze for me. You may wonder why Mike didn't notice this, it's because he was suffering the same losses. The person closest to me was also in a depression in struggling, and for those 2-3 years we just survived. The first 6 months or so were the adjustment to the quarantine and life in a Covid-19 world. Then I got certified as a medical transcriptionist. Addison got Felix, and Mike took them to the park and to Stone Mountain to hike while I did my course. And then there wasn't enough to keep busy. Whether other activities slowed down, or the depression strengthened, maybe both, I can't say. We survived the through losses, through the pandemic, through life by hiding in our escapes of books, movies, tv shows, and video games. But that's what it was, surviving, not really living. We were there for each other as much as we could be, but when getting out of bed is one of your biggest struggles, and how you start each day, it can be incredibly difficult to be present in life let alone be there to support someone else. So when that's all we could do, we would just be present for each other. We were fortunate with that, and it may have made a bigger difference than we'll ever know.
This depression started with the loss of my Dad in December 2019, followed by one of Mike's brothers 6 weeks after that, followed by losing Joey Good Boy, followed by 5 more losses in the year and a half since that December. Because of the pandemic, I couldn't go back to MD to see my mom and sister regularly, something that helped me deal with everything. Grief so great that it nearly blotted out everything else. Grief so great that it's a mental health concern. Grief so great that it shut everything else out and consuming depression moved in.
Mike and I do regular check-ins with each other about once a week or so about how we're doing individually and how we feel about how our relationship is going. We used to do monthly relationship check-ins to make sure we maintained a healthy relationship, but that was before we were surviving. Little things, things that would go unnoticed could uncharacteristically become a big deal, but they weren't being addressed because it was just one more thing to deal with and it was just one more thing I simply could not handle because I was surviving. I got out of bed most mornings, because there was a point I just gave in, and that took all the effort I could muster.
My depression. I had never before been depressed like this. It was new and terrible. It was stubborn and difficult to get to leave, and sometimes it keeps trying to slip back in like an unwanted visitor. I know its tricks now. I know the signs when it wants to ramp up again because I'm still not 100% but now I know. I know how and when I need to communicate that I need something. I focus on rebuilding communications and relationships that suffered, and that's hard sometimes because it can still be hard to talk about being depressed, not because I'm embarrassed but because it's a lot to deal with, but facing it is how I, personally, work through it.
Not everyone is that fortunate, that's right, fortunate in depression. I was raised in a home where we were taught to be compassionate about the struggles of mental health. Mental health, the health of the mind, a legitimate illness that needs the care of a good doctor. My depression snuck up on me, and then I accidentally found something that helped me. Not everyone is that fortunate. Check-in on your friends. Let them know you care.

Nanit Pro Camera Review
Tumblr media
In this blog post, I delve into the detailed features of the Nanit Pro Camera, discuss its advantages, and address potential concerns.  Nanit Pro Camera Features Unmatched Visual Clarity and Robust Security Features The Nanit Pro Camera provides an unmatched 1080p HD video overhead view that offers a crystal-clear view of every tiny detail. This high-definition resolution facilitates impeccable image quality during both day and night, ensuring parents can monitor their baby without causing any sleep disturbance. Its superior nighttime infrared imaging technology delivers clear images in greyscale without the use of visible light. This advanced viewing experience boosts parental confidence in keeping a watchful eye on their baby. Furthermore, security is a top priority with the Nanit Pro Camera. It operates independently of Wi-Fi or an internet connection, thereby providing a hack-proof and secure viewing experience. This feature instills peace of mind in parents who are wary of their baby's privacy. Dual-Screen Display and Multi-Camera Compatibility One of the defining features of the Nanit Pro Camera is its dual-screen display capability. It supports the connection of two HD cameras, allowing parents to monitor two different rooms or multiple children simultaneously with ease. This feature is especially beneficial for parents of multiple children or those who wish to keep an eye on different sections of their house. The ability to display both cameras side by side on the same screen ensures that not a single cherished moment is overlooked. Remote Control for Pan, Tilt, and Zoom Functions The Nanit Pro Camera comes equipped with remote pan and tilt functionalities, offering parents the convenience of controlling the camera's movement via the parent unit. This feature facilitates adjustments to the camera's positioning for an enhanced view of the baby or a scan of the entire room, all without the need for physical presence. Moreover, the camera includes a 4X zoom function that enables parents to zoom in and get a closer look at their baby for any reason, be it to verify if the pacifier is still in place or to simply enjoy their baby's endearing features up close. Two-Way Communication and Room Temperature Monitoring The Nanit Pro Camera's two-way audio feature is highly appreciated by parents. It allows not only for listening to their baby but also for communicating with them via the parent unit. This feature provides reassurance for both parents and babies as they can interact vocally, comfort each other or even sing lullabies without entering the room. In addition, the camera comes with a built-in adjustable night light and a room temperature sensor. These features enable parents to curate a cozy sleeping environment for their baby and ensure the room's temperature is well-regulated for their child's comfort. A Night in the Life with My New Guardian: The Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor https://youtu.be/pr7qm-Znv90 Ultimate Baby Monitor Review: Nanit Pro - The Parental Lifesaver It was a typical Tuesday evening when I decided to unwrap my new technological sidekick, the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor. As a first-time dad, the prospect of assembling and installing a high-tech baby monitor seemed daunting at first. But, the Nanit promised ease and peace of mind, two things in short supply in our household since the arrival of little Joey. Installation: A Breeze on the Wall The wall mount, ASTM-certified for a safe cord cover, had a built-in level that whispered reassurance—'Even you can’t mess this up'. And true to its promise, it was mounted above Joey’s crib in no time. The sleek, polycarbonate design blended with the nursery's white walls, was inconspicuous yet ever-watchful. First Impressions: Crystal Clear Visions of Serenity That first night, as I gazed at the 1080p HD video on my phone, it felt like a veil had been lifted. There was Joey, sound asleep, the soft rise and fall of his tiny chest syncing with the gentle hum of the nightlight. The night vision was impressive, every corner of the crib was visible in a monochrome glow that felt like moonlight. The Litmus Test: Sleep, Sweet Sleep It wasn't long before the true test began. Joey stirred, a whimper escalating into a full-blown wail. The Nanit sent a sound alert to my phone, its accuracy a stark contrast to the false alarms of my previous, defunct monitor. Rushing to the room, I flicked on the app's 2-way audio and whispered a lullaby. Almost like magic, Joey's sobs subsided, and his eyelids grew heavy. The Breathing Band: An Invisible Embrace What fascinated me the most was the breathing motion tracker. No sensors touching Joey, just a patterned band and a camera working in unison. When I got back to bed, my phone kept me informed of his breathing—consistent, reassuring. Peace of Mind: A Constant Companion As the night deepened, I found myself dozing off, only to wake in a panic. But there it was, the soft glow of the Nanit app on my nightstand. A glance confirmed that all was well. The Nanit was a vigilant guardian, allowing me to slip into a restful sleep, knowing it would alert me if anything was amiss. Sharing the Love: A Community Effort The following day, I discovered another feature. The Nanit allowed for multiple users, which meant sharing Joey’s moments with his grandparents was a breeze. The 256-bit AES encryption made sure our shared joy remained a private affair. Verdict: A Lifesaver in Disguise It's been weeks now, and the Nanit has become an extension of our parenting. The sleep coach function dispensed personalized advice, turning our once erratic nights into a semblance of a routine. I no longer jumped at shadows or strained to hear over the white noise of monitors past. Conclusion: The Only Monitor We'll Ever Need It's hard to imagine a time before the Nanit entered our lives. As I write this, Joey's soft breaths are a whisper in my ear, a lullaby for a weary father. The Nanit Pro isn't just a product; it's a promise of nights reclaimed and a testament to the peace of mind every parent deserves. So, I have to ask, what is the SITUATION with Yugi's parents?
(Also, can you impart more knowledge about Duke Devlin? I feel as thiugh there's something downright hilarious coming up with him.)
Ok the reason I haven't talked about Yugi's parents is that I uh. Can't make up my mind about what is going on with them. The short vesrion is that they're unable to care for Yugi so Solomon is his Legal guardian, and will not be appearing in the fic unless I settle on something by the time I get to season 4 or so. I was originally going with one flavor of Angst, then my brain supplied an entirely different flavor of angst and now I'm not sure which I like better. Option 1 would kick Marik (and everyone else but mostly Marik) in the guts while he's down, Option 2 would rip out Seto Kaiba's Heart. But probably neither will come up.
DUKE on the other hand has a fantastic part to play yet. He has a passing mention in the next chapter because he (indirectly) knows Sergei and Misha, and this connection will cause ABSOLUTE BEDLAM during Battle City. Some Duke Fun Facts:
Whatever the Opposite of a Vegan is, that's Duke. Man lives on caffeine and pork products, which has done something WEIRD to his metabolism so he's still a scarecrow.
"Duke Devlin" is a name he picked out for himself because it slaps that's why.
Like in the Manga, Duke's "Dad" lost a card game to Solomon Moto and has been wearing a fucked up clown mask since. Unlike the Manga, these two events aren't actually related. What happened was that Solomon beat Duke's Dad in a card game, had a GREAT time at the wedding they were both attending, and had sex with SOMEONE in Duke's family, while Duke's Dad got that clown mask stuck on his head in an Improv Theater Accident and then... never did anything about it. Duke travelled to Domino City in part to kick Yugi's ass for fucking up the international distribution of his game and also to see if they were Related.
Post-Fic, Duke and Bakura team up to release a new module of Monster World, "Catacomb of Abominations" which is generally met with rave reviews like "Even with fudging my rolls and eliminating half the encounters, this module killed all my players in 20 Minutes. 10/10" "I didn't have a debilitating fear of rabbits before this game, but I sure do now! 10/10" "I'm a quantum physicist and certified forensic accountant, and the math made me cry. 11/10"
Actually, since they're both huge TTRPG Nerds, Duke and Bakura become rather close. It still takes YEARS for Duke to realize that the reason Joey rolls Bakura's Dice for him whenever they play is not because of his Hand Injury but because Bakura is a master of stage magic and sleight-of-hand and could roll whatever results he wanted entirely subconciously. It takes Bakura years to realize that when Duke was complaining about "Having To Learn Python" he meant the coding language and not How To Talk To Large Snakes.
Duke speaks the greatest number of languages of the cast, but only if you count computer programming languages.

one thing i would like to add to my last post about joey x pacey being my favorite love story of all time is the fact that they went through the test of time, you know. this is one of the main reasons why they are the top of the list.
when they broke up in high school it wasn’t for lack of love or serious problems that involved the way they operated as a couple. it was because, in my opinion, pacey’s insecurities and uncertainties needed to be addressed outside the scope of their relationship. it was killing him and, as a consequence, would kill the relationship eventually. he viewed himself as a certified loser, a guy with no future, with no prospect of happiness, a men whose friends were going through ambitious and tradicional directions (i say tradicional here bc not everyone is made for college or need to attended it to have the future they deserve, want or need. i won’t extend on this topic bc it’s a long and complex discussion, but, yeah, capitalist logic is killing us) and were, until then, succeeding everything they wanted at their own ways. so, what a person with low self esteem and a loser complex is going to do?? burst and try to separate himself from everything that resembles a good thing in his life bc he thinks he doesn’t deserve it or bc he’s going to fuck up the lives of the ones he loves.
long story short, i don’t see the break up as a crazy decision plot wise. it was actually necessary (obviously, how pacey did it was ugly, disrespectful and hurtful). but, you know, they never lost chemistry, never lost a great sense of friendship, etc. they saw themselves grow up, become adults, achieve what they thought was impossible, find new interests, passions and directions [when both of them found a time to talk again (CASTAWAYS, BABYYYY), unsolved feelings and revisited memories were displayed. but, timing wasn’t right. ugh]
but, i think it’s devastatingly beautiful how they got together already mature enough to be this power couple and then we see them finally realize after so much time has passed that they landed at a place where the whole picture was cristal clear: their strong connection was never broken. it changed, but never ran away. they were good for each other in a sense that it was based in selflessness, before and after. finally they found their moment to thrive, timing was right.
