Hold on something's just hit me.

If everyone in the Plex were to believe that Gregory dropped Cassie at the end of Ruin to keep himself from being found, whether he did it or not, wouldn't that make Roxy to one most able to understand him?

As Mimic's guard dog, surely she would know the lengths you have to go through to keep that fucker trapped. A whole team of Raceway construction workers went straight to their deaths down there. Roxy won't let the Raceway be repaired and re-opened in order to keep people safe. She's probably been able to see Mimic and its victims through the floor this entire time, she knows what it can do and what it's done, even if she doesn't know the full extent of it.

She's willing to sacrifice her Raceway and Salon to keep people from finding Mimic. Her pride and joys, basically her whole reason for being built in the first place. They're not worth the risk to her.

Whether Gregory sacrificed Cassie to keep Mimic trapped or not, surely Roxy would realise some sort of similarity. She may think doing that to Cassie was too far, she may think he's a monster for even considering it and she may feel as though nothing could justify what he did... But there's a part of her that gets it. The absolute terror that comes at the slightest possibility that Mimic could escape. She gets that sacrifices have to made, fuck she's made those sacrifices herself. She would never have sacrificed someone for this, that's why she ran headfirst at Mimic instead of just sealing the exits again, but there could be that tiny little part of her that feels the need to constantly to remind her that Gregory was trying to do the same thing she was.

The key difference here, is that if Gregory had done it, it would fall in line with almost everything else we've seen him do. The sacrifices he makes, are of other people, and not himself. He sacrificed Roxy, Chica and Monty to upgrade Freddy for his safety and possibly the safety of Vanessa. If he also dropped Cassie, then he's once again sacrificing someone else for the sake of his own safety. Not like he has that much else to lose, but I'm drawing comparisons here.

Roxy on the other hand, sacrifices herself. She sacrificed her Raceway and her Salon for the benefit of both herself and others. Unlike Gregory finding himself in a hopeless situation and hurting others to get out of it, Roxy was given this job (probably) and chose to give up what little she has in the world to keep the situation from happening. Even when Cassie deactivates her and ends up face to face with Mimic, Roxy jumps straight at it to buy her time to escape which could have easily killed her.

So now you have Roxy, who unfortunately does understand Gregory's choice to drop Cassie (if she believes he did it which yeah she probably does) but has absolutely no sympathy for him. She couldn't care less about him. There's potentially a fearful little voice in her head that she's the same as Gregory that fuels her anger towards him even more. She hasn't ever sacrificed someone else to keep the Mimic at bay and she's been doing it for fuck knows how long, what gives Gregory a free pass? Maybe if he hadn't stolen her fucking eyes she would have been able to stop the whole thing from getting that far anyway!

I'm not saying this to frame Gregory as a villain or anything. I don't think he dropped Cassie and I still think it was entirely Freddy's fault for what happened to the others in SB. I just think this is interesting from a character stand point. The one person that could understand the choices they've made to keep Mimic from escaping is each other, but they're both too hateful of each other for it to affect anything... If they were ever to settle their differences, I think it would have to start here. The only common ground they share, is the one thing no one else does.

But Gregory didn't even fucking do it so I bet that goes well lmao

UGH Thinking about the utter PANIC, the way his blood must've run cold and his heart racing so fast it could give him a headache, the absolute dread that Gregory must've felt when he'd realized that Cassie was at the ruined Pizzaplex risking her life for him, while he knows full well what's actually going on, and Cassie is oblivious to the danger she's walking straight in to.

How hard he tried, desperately calling out to try and get her to come back before it was too late, but every attempt either not getting through or not being enough, while he sits at home panicking and worrying for his friends safety, wondering if she'll make it out alright, if he'd ever be able to see her again, hear her voice again, hug her again, or if this was it.

He probably wanted to run to the Pizzaplex as soon as he'd realized she was there, but had to be talked down by Vanessa and Freddy and convinced that they should try and call out to her before doing anything too risky. Maybe they tried to calm him by saying that MXES would probably scare her away, or the as soon as she saw the animatronics she'd go right back outside and they could go grab her then, treat any wounds she may've gotten, and tell her to never go back no matter who tells her to.

But NOPE! Cassie was so determined to save her friend that nothing deterred her, and Gregory's desperate attempts at contacting her didn't work until it was much too late, and his completely normal night with his new family, who all believed they were safe and they could finally move on and heal, turned into the night where their biggest nightmare was freed and Gregory possibly had to make the tough choice of killing his best, and possibly only, friend.

GUYS HOLY SHIT RUIN IS SO GOOD

Like it’s still security breach but it’s like… what if security breach was an actually good fnaf game???

Anyway spoilers

My only gripes are the endings (not the “bad” ending, that shit’s awesome, but the fredbear and scooper endings are kinda… weird) and the fact that you have to deactivate Roxy (and she just comes back afterwards) sucks. When we played that me and my friend actually got really emotional and I even teared up and we assumed you could save her but when she came back and it was just like “oh Roxy’s back” and when I replayed that scene and you’re forced to deactivate her like damn that kinda takes away from it imagine if it was a choice? It was a phenomenal scene, with the moments of silence as Cassie just quietly sobs after killing her favourite animatronic, but it would’ve been really good if Roxy doesn’t come back AND you had the option to save her (and actually have a good secret ending). anyway moving on.

The fredbear ending is just some random cardboard cutout of fredbear that makes you have a vision of a happy sunset? Someone said that they interpreted it as Cassie trying to convince herself everything’s going to be okay just before she dies but idk I don’t like it it’s too random and abrupt.

The scooper ending is very anticlimactic. Like she’s just fine? Does she tell Gregory the mimic is scooped? Is the mimic even scooped at all? Obviously I thought it was a scooper but only through context clues it doesn’t look like what the scooper looked like at all. It also feels weird that the mimic has so much build up and is instantly killed off? And the way you get it is really weird too. Zooming out to find secret cameras? And those open doors? Idk it feels so video gamey. There aren’t even five??? Only four?????

Anyway apart from those minor gripes the game is fantastic. Phenomenal. The normal ending is so goddamn good. Gregory wanting to talk to his friend one last time before having to let her die as he cannot risk the mimic getting out. And dropping her from a lift as he wants her to have an instant death instead of whatever the mimic could do to her. You could just feel the regret in his voice. Honestly I thought Gregory was a kinda meh character in security breach but he’s really good in ruin. I like how before the mimic reveal his way of talking is slightly off, like he’ll say one word in a different tone to the rest of the sentence or whatever. And I already mentioned the incredible performance at the end.

Also can we talk about Cassie??? Just like everything else in this game she is what security breach tried to do but done right. She has so much personality and when you put on the Vanny mask (which is a sick mechanic btw) you see tidbits from her life or how she sees herself, and when she’s talking to herself she has so much personality, like going “I’m okay, I’m okay” when she falls down, how she keeps mentioning how unlucky she gets with vents (which is such a funny reoccurring gag), how she gets so frustrated when Gregory always cuts off just as she was about to talk to him. Idk I love her so much and she felt wayyyy better than Gregory in security breach.

Anyway yeah this game is what security breach should have been. Part of me thinks security breach is justified because it let us have this gem, but then again if security breach was good we probably still would have got it LMAO

Anyway go play ruin it’s great

“Cassie! Cassie! Cassie, please answer me.” Gregory yelled into his walkie-talkie, but there was no response from the other side. Freddy and Vanessa were in a state of shock. “Cassie please. Just answer me! Are you okay?!” Once again, there was no response. “T-That thing, the mimic, it must’ve cut off the signal Gregory..” His heart sank, and he looked up at Vanessa. “She’s going to be okay.. Right? She’ll be okay..” Vanessa’s expression was grim, and he looked over at Freddy. “Come on, she’ll be okay!” Freddy didn’t respond either, and Gregory knew what they meant. It didn’t mean he wanted that to be the answer. With a scream, he tossed the walkie-talkie onto the bed, tears were streaming down his face as she let out a cry of pain. “NO!”

Cassie’s entire body was aching, and she was shivering. She felt like her heart had been shattered to pieces. How could Gregory betray her like that? She had done so much for him, she had come into this hell hole of a place, fought off animatronics for him, she had risked her life for him, all because she had thought he was in danger. And then he just betrays her?

She felt rage, and she knew that if she ever were to get out of here, she’d make Gregory regret this. She’d get her revenge on him.

“Cassie.” She groaned and pushed herself up, looking for the source of that sound. It was completely dark, there wasn’t even a shred of light here, she wasn’t even sure she knew where she was. “Cassie..” Who was calling to her? The hopeful part of her thought it was Gregory, but that assumption could easily be removed, since that sounded nothing like him. She looked around, and her gaze landed on the bunny mask. She moved over and picked it up. “Cassie..” The voice was louder now, could it be coming from the mask? “Betrayed by someone you called your friend.. Left alone to die in this cave.. I know you must feel angry Cassie..” Said girl gasped as she heard the voice loud and clear come from the mask. “I know you want revenge on him, because he deserves it. Such a sweet and lovely friend you are, risking your life so willingly if it means you can see him again.. He helped you in a time when you needed someone, and that’s why you wanted to go back for him. Am I right?” Cassie knew she shouldn’t really be trusting this mask, it knew way too much about her, almost as though it could read her thoughts. That should have made her get up and toss the mask away, but she didn’t.

“I know that I'm right, Cassie. Put on this mask, and join me. You and I will do great things together, starting with getting rid of that so-called friend of yours.” ‘I have to get rid of this mask, it is talking to me-’ “You can’t do this on your own, Cassie.. And you know it.” So it is reading her thoughts! She got up, determined to get rid of the mask. “We both know you can’t go about on your own. Join me Cassie. Join me.”

Cassie sighed. The voice was right. She didn’t even know how to get out of this cave, and if she did ever get out, which she doubted she would, how would she even get her revenge on Gregory?

“Join me Cassie.” The mask repeated one last time, and that was all it needed to do before Cassie put it on.

“Good choice Cassie.”

Kombat Krew Marriage ceremony headcanons;

Part two of the proposing to their S/O, so the actual ceremony and all that jazz. So, this was very long, so I’m going to do a part 2 with the rest from the original post, and add some of the Kombat ladies in there. There’s more under the cut, it was just very long! Kano is in here, but its just a shit post. Enjoy! GIFS do not belong to me, I did not make them, they belong to their creators.

Johnny Cage;

· Depending on how old he is, will depend on what type of wedding you get. If its post- Cassie and he’s more mature; he’ll want something a little smaller, but just as lavish. If he’s not mature and he’s younger, expect something wild, large and full of paparazzi.

· He’d want everything to be over the top, expensive and lavish at all times.

· You can have whatever you want for the big day. Money is of no object.

· Your dress/suit is the most expensive thing known to man, there is no limit on it.

· Cassie is going to be your Maid of Honour, she’s been waiting for an opportunity like this. She’ll actually calm her dad down, she knows what you like and what you want, so she’ll steer her dad in that direction.

· In his wilder days, he’d want something expensive for the venue. He would try and hire out something stupid, like the top of the Empire States building, or the Eiffel Tower.

· In his mature days, he’d want something like a beach wedding; far away, in a warm place, with very few paparazzi… he can upload the photos to his social media when he wants.

· He looks fly in his suit, promises in his vows this will be the last time he does this.

· Jax and Kenshi are his two Best men. All of them looking fly as fuck in their suits. All with matching ties.

· He would ask Sub- Zero and Scorpion to provide the entertainment, they declined, even after the promise of cake and food. With Sub Zero stating that Johnny is entertainment enough.

· The fucking ring is obnoxious either way.

Kabal;

· He’s a laid-back guy, so once you say yes to the proposal, it’s up to you what you want.

· There is a ‘We’ in Wedding, so he will have some input, but he wants you to have the best day ever.

· Whatever his Princess/Prince wants, you will get. He’s actually really excited and wants most things to be kept under wraps. He wants to be surprised on the day.

· He does want input on the cake, god he wants input on that. He has a sweet tooth, so its only natural he wants to help decide that.

· He’ll help send the invitations, opts to put a fuck ton of glitter on them, why? Because he kind of wants them to be forever reminded of your day. Glitter gets everywhere and stays for a life time, says it’s a metaphor for your relationship.

· His Pre and Post burn ideas will change.

· Pre-Burn, he’d want something mid-sized, but isn’t against somewhere public. He won’t do it at the Black Dragon Fight Club. Kano suggested it, along with suggesting Officiating it. Kabal struck him off the Guest List. He’d want something like a fancy hotel. Of course, you’re both staying over the day before and the night of it.

· Post-Burn, he wants something small, the guest list is very limited. He feels like a monster every other day of the year; his wedding day doesn’t change his own self-appreciation. For his Post-Burn venue, he’d want maybe a small, secluded alcove, somewhere without a lot of people.

· Imagine him in a tux with a bowtie. Oh god I died.

· His worries melt away when he sees you in your dress/suit. He doesn’t feel like a tit in a suit, he feels like the luckiest man in the world. He forgets that there are others in the room. He just focuses on you and how perfect you are.

· He thinks you’re perfect. (To be fair Riptide by Vance Joy would probably be playing as you walk down the Aisle, because of the lyric “I swear she’s destined for the screen, closest thing to Michelle Phiefer that you’ve ever seen” I headcanon he’s a sucker for some Indie music, so… Don’t @me)

· He’d prepare his own vows Post-Burn as well. And would tear up a little.

· His Best man situation would depend on which route he took, if he went straight, it would be Stryker. If not, it would be Erron. Him and Erron always had a friendly rivalry.

· The rings are actually pretty simple, not overly-gawdy, and it fits perfectly.

· Kabal has two potential first dance songs for his Pre-Burn;

· He’s really into planning it. It gives you both a chance to get closer. He never thought he’d get married, so he’s totally down for being involved in it.

· He won’t wear a suit as expected, more like one of his uniform skins from 11. Suits and Tux’s ain’t his thing.

· He’ll want to have a proper Country Wedding. It’s what feels familiar. Or, he’d maybe consider getting married in Outworld. Kotal officiating of course.

· But a Barn, some mason jars, and some very strong booze. Is his go to.

· BBQ style wedding breakfast. That’s the only thing he’s dead set on.

· Also, he’d want a band playing, live music. There better be some country on there. Or he will raise hell.

· Hope you can stand the fucking banjo.

· He’ll let you do whatever you want with your Wedding Party and all of that. Your dress/suit is your choice, but he’s going to pay for it.

· Depending on where he is in his life, will depend on who’s there/ his Best Man/men.

· If he’s in Outworld, Kotal is officiating and he’s got no other choice, but to have Ermac as his Best Man. Which is the equivalent of having 10,000 best men. ‘We are so happy for you Erron Black’

· In his Black Dragon Days, Kabal is his Best Man. They may fight, argue and sometimes hate each other. But they are friends deep, deep, deep down. He’s better than Kano.

· He actually scrubs up pretty nice. You’re surprised on your big day to see what he looks like without the poncho, bandana and layer of grime. It’s not something you’d always want him to be like.

· He’s speechless when he sees you. You’re sure if he were wearing his hat, he’d tip it in surprise. But you can tell by the way his eyes light up, he’s loving how amazing you look. He commits it to memory and mouths how lucky he is.

· The rings are ornate, they’ve got each other’s initials in them.

I really struggled with his, because country music is not my jam, but I felt this would fit. Either that or some Johnny Cash.

Sub Zero (Kuai Liang);

· He feels terrible, but the Wedding Ceremony has little to no wiggle room, in some places. You’re marrying into his Clan. So, the Ceremony, Venue and Vows are pretty set.

· Bi-Han (Going off of his 11 ending) has to Officiate, and it is tense for Kuai. “Do you, Y/N, Take Kuai, The Lesser Sub Zero, to be yours? Even, when his hotter, older brother, is stood right here.” He threatens to say that, but he opts to keep it classy for the ceremony, embarrassing for the speech.

· His Best men are going to be Scorpion and Smoke. It’s obvious.

· He lets you pick out your dress/suit, he would want a little bit of blue in there somewhere. Just because it’s the Lin Kuei colours. He’s not overly bothered if not. But something borrowed, something blue, just wear his headband somewhere, even if its in a covered-up place. Kill two birds with one stone.

· He won’t get to wear a suit, he has to wear his Formal Grandmaster uniform. His tits are sort of out, bit less side-boob though. This is a wedding guys, he has to keep it classy.

· It’s very Formal.

· Johnny Offers his services as Entertainment, you’re not sure if he’s joking or not. So, you have to reiterate the point, that’s not happening.

· Kuai has amazing handwriting, so he’ll handwrite all the invitations, he doesn’t trust technology which drives you up the wall. You could have an instant RSVP, but no, you gotta wait for people to basically send a fucking raven. God Dam it.

· The Ceremony is obviously at the Lin Kuei temple. Prepare for some cold, you may need a fucking cloak rather than veil. It is freezing.

· He wishes he could give you the wedding of your dreams, but he is a Grandmaster and it comes with certain strings. But, can you really complain when you’re getting to marry him? No.

· He is shooketh when he sees you. He smiles a lot. He cannot believe he gets to marry you. You’re to become his spouse, his partner, the wife/husband of the Grandmaster.

· You get a ring, he gets a ring, their both just simple bands, both have the Lin Kuei symbol engraved in the centre. Yours has a sapphire in the centre.

· He will tie a knot in his uniform or switch his headband up. To either your favourite colour or if you have family crest, to your family crest colours. Just to reiterate the point, he’s taken and he’s yours.

· He hasn’t prepared public vows, PDA and anything like that makes him uncomfortable. But he will tell you them during the first dance. Whispering them to you.

· I think it would fit your relationship with him perfectly, the right pace for a song, and the lyrics are cute as fuck. This could work for Hanzo and vice versa, his could fit Sub. God dam it, I am bad at this.

Scorpion (Hanzo Hasashi)

· He has been married before, so he understands the process, the planning and what is expected.

· He kind of wants this one to be different, but he knows, like Kuai, he has obligations to fulfil. It has to be traditional, but that doesn’t mean he can’t shake things up a little. I mean, he’s a little more adventurous nowadays.

· You’ll still have to have the traditional ceremony. Which would probably take place in the Fire Gardens? (I’m not sure about this, if you guys know, please tell me)

· He does let you choose your dress/suit and party. That part is up to yours. But you are marrying into the Shira Ryu, so, you would need to have the ceremony.

· Takeda, Kenshi, Sub and even Johnny are clawing to be his Best Men. Sub’s not overly bothered, but on the inside, he’s like please let me have this.

· He can’t decide, and he knows anything he says, will result in more arguments. So, he has all of them. Problem solving.

· Like Sub Zero, he cannot wear a suit, he has to be in his finest Yellow fucking Ninja outfit. God dam it. Less tits and side boob than Sub though. So, there’s that.

· If someone screams ‘Get over there’ when you’re walking down the aisle, they will be fucking speared. No. Don’t do it.

· He’s lost for words watching you walk up the aisle. It’s like your redemption and his future. A second chance at happiness, his future and everything he’s ever wanted, longed and feared for.

· He’s nervous, but he doesn’t let it show. He’s prepared the things he has to say over and over again. Practised it a lot, so why does he have a lump in his throat?

· He flashes you a smile as you reach him, takes your hand into his and starts speaking so elegantly. Some of it will be in his native tongue, but its fine, because he’ll have prepared you for it.

· He hand forged the rings, melted the metal himself, helped cast them and even engraved them himself. He’s proud of them, let him have his moment.

· There both simple bands, nothing too fancy, little tiny scorpion simple on the inside though.

· Throughout the whole day, he cannot take his eyes off of you. You’re this shining fucking light and he adores you.

· I’m suggesting this because of the lyrics mainly. It’s also got a nice and slow pace, something you can both sway to, because he cannot fucking dance. But, Kuai’s could work for him and vice versa. His could work with Kuai.

· It’s so shit. Like you’re getting married at the Black Dragon Fight Club.

· He is not wearing a suit, hell, he’s not even wearing a shirt.

· The smoke machine broke, so he’s just got Kabal vaping.

· Erron is telling jokes to ease the mood, it’s not easing the mood.

· He turns up late and drunk.

· Just say fucking no and run off with Erron or Kabal. Just fucking do it. Leave him standing at the Altar.
