Este libro me lo regaló un amigo mío. Es una novela negra, de las que normalmente me gustan, pero en este caso no fué así. No puedo poner el dedo en la llaga, pero hay algo que no me gusta. Me parece que la escritora imita a drede a otros escritores de novela negra exitosos, como quizás Pierre Lemaitre, pero sin su talento.
Me parece como una novela generada con inteligencia artificial, tiene todo lo necesario menos humanidad. No lo recomiendo, aunque agradezco el regalo y se que se hizo pensando que lo disfrutaría.

Carmen Mola has been a mystery for long time: as a successful thriller writer has been compared to Elena Ferrante, another famous writer that hides her identity from large public.
However, happens that Carmen Mola isn't a real woman, but a collective pseudonym of three Spanish television scriptwriters: Jorge Díaz, Agustín Martínez and Antonio Mercero.
In 2021, Carmen Mola won the €1,000,000 Premio Planeta de Novela, the richest literary book or author prize in the world. Lured by that crazy amount of money, the three authors decided to step out of their pseudonym to accept the prize and, of course, the big check.

La Bestia by Carmen Mola
One plotline is a street orphan of like 7-12 very determinedly goes to become a prostitute with like no fear. The writing of this sexual violence just just very 🤔 and I googled and Carmen Mola is the penname of three guys writing together, go figure. Also just not very well written and boring. Boring probably did more to get me to DNF this one but that revelation was fascinating

Morir en La Habana: el diluvio
La pregunta es, y se desprende de las lecturas de los talentos que se escondieron tras Carmen Mola, y la propia Redondo: ¿está preparado el público lector para una novela negra que desarrolle su historia en La Habana? La respuesta es una: no lo creo.
El inicio de la novela de la señora Redondo “Esperando al diluvio” es impecable. Solo ella lo podría mejorar y es evidente que así lo quiso. En palabras que parecen escritas desde y hacia la tensión, nos introduce en la historia que quiere contar. Aún hay una expectativa, pero te ha atrapado. Una historia real, pasada, que ella potencia y actualiza. No así en una novela posterior en que se pierde…

«En Madrid se mata poco», le decía al joven subinspector Ángel Zárate su mentor en la policía; «pero cuando se mata, no tiene nada que envidiarle a ninguna ciudad del mundo», podría añadir la inspectora Elena Blanco, jefa de la Brigada de Análisis de Casos, un departamento creado para resolver los crímenes más complicados y abyectos.
Susana Macaya, de padre gitano pero educada como paya, desaparece tras su fiesta de despedida de soltera. El cadáver es encontrado dos días después en la Quinta de Vista Alegre del madrileño barrio de Carabanchel. Podría tratarse de un asesinato más, si no fuera por el hecho de que la víctima ha sido torturada siguiendo un ritual insólito y atroz, y de que su hermana Lara sufrió idéntica suerte siete años atrás, también en vísperas de su boda. El asesino de Lara cumple condena desde entonces, por lo que solo caben dos posibilidades: o alguien ha imitado sus métodos para matar a la hermana pequeña, o hay un inocente encarcelado.
Por eso el comisario Rentero ha decidido apartar a Zárate del caso y encargárselo a la veterana Blanco, una mujer peculiar y solitaria, amante de la grappa, el karaoke, los coches de coleccionista y las relaciones sexuales en todoterrenos. Una policía vulnerable, que se mantiene en el cuerpo para no olvidar que en su vida existe un caso pendiente, que no ha podido cerrar.Investigar a una persona implica conocerla, descubrir sus secretos y contradicciones, su historia. En el caso de Lara y Susana, Elena Blanco debe asomarse a la vida de unos gitanos que han renunciado a sus costumbres para integrarse en la sociedad y a la de otros que no se lo perdonan, y levantar cada velo para descubrir quién pudo vengarse con tanta saña de ambas novias gitanas.

I knew Dave and we hung out for a long time and as Mike bronder and he was shocked by a few things wasn't taking too far back and I'm talking about Chris but Dave was friends of his and they've always been friends and they never never weren't friends he was mad at him for a while but then he started talking to him again it was a gun thing it's kind of like punishment and don't do it again it's pretty severe for someone who's in his position and I was proud of Chris and Dave said he did to me on purpose and I understand it I'm going to watch it and he started having to fight and he started learning about this guy and he's telling him too you got to watch out for him he's really bad news and it turned out to be true. And he went up and he tried to strive for the best and he tried to get it done he was doing a lot of stuff and it didn't work and we're wondering what the space is if it's his body and how it would be there and his brother says the head looks weird looks like a Doctor who episode and it looks like it could be a gear cuz you can't breathe on Mars true too he was wearing gear and so the body might be intact and Tommy f is just like other mola they need to keep you around for a while and he has stuff everywhere still does very high tech and hard to use and we think that he's in The matrix and people are starting to say wow I wonder if it's Neo and his brother can't tell he says you sound weird like Goofy and just says you sound weird and sounds like Dave a little bit Joe says that to try and imitate him but that would be really crazy and they're calling them the one the question is where is Trump and so we have to wonder and we are going to experience something I think because Tommy f might bring him back in order to capture our son I mean Grand nephew and it has to do with Paris Hilton and he's going to try for her and that's an obvious one it doesn't fall for much but she's a beautiful woman it says what about common he says what about Carmen it's kind of funny cuz she showed up small a lot

Es obvio ya que este recurso ha envejecido, pero hay que tener en cuenta que en la retórica ideológica, nada se descarta por envejecimiento, se desempolva a conveniencia. Y contra le vejez y la extenuación social, el embargo, que se llama bloqueo...
La novia gitana es una de esas novelas más que adictivas, narcóticas, te embelesan con el horror. Nadie está preparado, a no ser que el psicópata ronde tus pensamientos, para tanto pavor.
