Frederick is patching Chrom's tent up again. It got torn up in a vicious storm, but it's fixable. He watches Frederick work, amazed. There really is nothing that Frederick wouldn't do for him.
"I know," he says. "This is the sort of task I do appreciate. So, thank you." The gods know that Chrom isn't the best with a needle and thread - not through lack of trying, but his stitching was weak, and Frederick would only redo it himself, anyway.
"This is more pleasant than the, uh, posters." He still can't imagine what possessed Frederick to think that was a good idea. That was one of the worst things Chrom had ever seen, and the rest of the Shepherds still joke about it. As much as Chrom would like to put that behind them, he can't.
He can't let Frederick do anything like that again.

I got too giddy reading Half-Orange earlier, I have now officially started a new Fire Emblem Awakening run....
oh, right, a question. For Pretending to love You (shouldn't be this easy). what do Chrom and Robin wear for their actual wedding?

This is such a fun question omg; I love any excuse to think about Robin in a gown LOL. I'm not personally a huge fan of the dress for the bridal class in awakening BUT I do like the idea of keeping the sort of feathery motif from it (particularly given Robin's name being...Robin lol). I think something like this dress would be really beautiful on her, though maybe with a little bit more of a sleeve. I love the hints of pale blue as well <3 Nice nod to her husband's color palette without being too over the top.
As for Chrom, I tend to have less strong feelings about men's fashion, but I actually think the outfit that Eliwood wears in his groom alt for FEH is very handsome and that a slight variation of that could suit him well! Maybe with some of the red changed to be blue as well since Chrom is so insistent that red is not his color lol.
I continue to live in blissful delusion that perhaps this year feh will give me a bridal f!Robin or groom Chrom, but in the mean time I will just content myself with imaginings instead.

So I have, after years of being a complete oblivious dumbass just realized one thing about Alfonse.
Well I have had my baby Day of Devotion Alfonse since the day he came out. He had been fighting with the squad and being one of my 5 husbands since I started buying FEH pass. I have even given him the coolest of seals made for armored units so he can move more spaces, and my stupid ass never realized this.
Alfonse: Understand me now!?
Me: Understand what? What is he talking about?
You see he shouts this while in battle and I thought he was telling his enemies something about friendship! NO he is trying to tell his summoner he loves them/ he/her/ you/ me, and I was too stupid to understand it XD
OMG I am so sorry Alfonse T_T I love you too my sweet sweet man!
PS: But at least I understood it enough that I did give him his present! ( the S seal) XD
Also...did you noticed how Groom Robin talks about Chrom's weeding but I find that sad and someone said blue roses are unrequired love. Then you see Fallen Chrom who obviously loved his Robin coming to Ask and encounters this sad Robin...I am shipping them so hard now!!! I just wanted Fallen Chrom to hug and to love but now I Want him to S support Robin! To each their own but as much as I love Grima I do not go for Fallen Chrom x Grima if it is the same Grima who destroyed his world because it feels to me like an abusive relationship. I have personal reason for it to be a big no, no.
But I also felt very warm when Robin says he feels jealous of the people around us. His art also hinting at him giving us the ring. At this point I think IS is making him our official groom- I am cool with it...at least until I get Groom Alfonse or Lif.
BTW!!! IT IS BULLSHIT!!! I have pulled 35 heroes form the fallen banner and none of them have been 5 stars! NONE!!! I want to cry!

Chrom isn’t the greatest at finding ways to put his thoughts into words eloquently, especially when his thoughts are inappropriate. His mind isn’t always focused on such a thing, but at the moment when his eyes land on you he’s recalling hearing say his name in between pleasured sighs. So of course, when you call out his stare in your direction, asking what’s wrong, his face immediately turns hot, he dodges the subject, rapidly finding some excuse in between rushed sentences and quickly flees elsewhere.
He can’t exactly just exclaim aloud to you, that he’s been thinking about taking off your clothes, pushing your back into the bed and hearing you cry out his name until your throat is hoarse. Well, he could, but he probably wouldn’t be able to finish his words without tripping over his own tongue. The worst part being, that he’s clearly not the greatest at hiding his thoughts from you, as when you catch him staring at you later that day, you wink at him.
It’s easier when it’s just you and him. When at first your greeting to another is a single kiss that turns into him repeatedly pressing heated kisses against your lips, that you return with fervour. Where him sliding his hands beneath your clothes, is mirrored by you trying to pull away his. “Chrom,” where the breathless sigh of his name goads him to usher you over to bed. It’s easy for his to just get lost in your bare skin, that he can’t help but press kisses along.
Until you tell him you want him in the next breath, only for his body to almost act on its own, hands reaching for your waist to guide your hips to his, cock pressing at your sex, sliding inside as his hips meet flush against yours. He wants you too, and he hopes it comes across that way when he manages to stutter out your name as he starts to motion himself back and forth.
Or when he continues to press his lips against you, while murmuring “I love yous” between thrusts. Or when he finds cumming inside you once not enough, and he keeps your body pinned beneath his own, pumping himself into you until he’s determined that you understand just how much he does.

The funniest ship in Awakening is easily if F!Robin S support Chrom!Inigo because "my sister thought my crush was into my dad and my dad saw my crush naked and my crush saw my dad naked".

So my favorite thing about him is his personality, it's very endearing to me, especially the way he acts towards his friends
My least favorite thing about him is that he's kinda weak in the actual gameplay and he promotes extremely late

My OTP is very basic, it's Ninian, but I love them so much. I also don't really like any other option, like Hector x Eliwood is funny but I see them more as a platonic duo
The closest thing I have to a nOTP would be Eliwood x Lyn, I don't really think they feel like they should be a couple, but I don't have strong feelings on it
It is my headcannon that Eliwood really enjoys baking and often bakes for all his friends when he gets the chance
I don't really know if it counts as an unpopular opinion but Eliwood deserves more, for being the main character of the first game released in the west it kinda seems like IS don't really like him, like really, both Lyn and Hector are emblems in engage but Eliwood just has to sit on the sidelines as a bond ring? Like at least but him in with Hector like they did with Robin and Chrom
I have never thought about a song for him, but with a quick look through my playlists I decided that "I'm here" by Michael Shirt has Eliwood vibes in the way it makes me feel safe and calm in a way I feel like I would also feel in the same room as Eliwood

WELL. I just did the shadowy moor skirmish (took me 3 tries....), which was my recommended level (I should know better than to trust that though lol) and wow!! really shows you who your MVPs are.
my go-to team right now is Merrin, Yunaka, Louis (I gave him Ike and he's an insane tank. I don't think he lost 10 health during the whole skirmish), Alcryst, and Pandreo (he's not like, on par with those guys, but he's my best healer); then I padded out the team with a few other good units, although they didn't survive the encounter (thank goodness for casual mode lmao.)
did Alear suck for you too? maybe I assumed they'd be OP like Byleth was and didn't level enough early game. but they do like 2 damage and the stat %s are awful :(
I've been slacking on paying attention to lore/supports (you were right -- the story isn't as interesting as 3h, which is fine, but noticeable,) and I hate to just be an "um gayyy!" sort of person but I kinda love how flirty a lot of the supports are!? Alfred asking guys how their muscles got so big and Chloe fawning over Merrin for being such a good lady knight. kinda great. in that respect, they're a bit more interesting than, say, Hilda just not wanting to clean her room lol.

Your first error was to do skirmishes hahaha. They're known to be very hard in this game.
Yeah Alear isn't supposed to be a great unit, they're alright but not an outlier... at least, not until *something* happens in the later chapters. Alear rarely gains Strength points but I think I was lucky! They definitely need Emblems to be useful.
And YES a lot of supports are soo flirty, it's delightful! Boucheron and Alfred, Yunaka and Etie... And I agree that it's oddly more fun that many 3H supports (*flashbacks to the Golden Deer cast and to Bernie*)

I actually bought the DLC and started a game on Maddening. Well, let me tell you that Camilla (from Fates)'s map really sucks and Tiki's is ridiculous. The new Emblems, I mean, bracelets, are either OP (Tiki) or very good (Veronica, Chrom, Edelgard, Hector). Haven't played the new chapters yet since the units they give don't scale, I'll wait until the Solm chapters.
Aside from FE, I fought my bank over buying a new laptop because the one I had decided to stop working just as I was starting to get jobs again after one whole month of nothing. But the payment finally went through today so that's a relief.

List of candidates waiting for a fallen alt:
The other priestess possesed by Medeus, the Deadlords from genealogy/thracia, the rest of the risen black fang, fallen Idunn, fallen Greil, Vallite Scarlet, Vallite Gunther, Vallite Sumeragi and Vallite Mikoto. And from three houses we had Maurice, Crest beast Micklan, Crest Beast Dedue and Umbral Beast Aelfric. And even if we count Cypher now as inspo with both Fallen Ike and Chrom we have Fallen Nohrian King Leo and Fallen Sara. In total we have like 36 options for fallen unit. 37 if we count that antagonist/miarge!Aversa from Tokio Mirage.
And they had to go with nopes female Byleth. The focking wasted potential in here... This feels as when they made "Fallen Dimitri" bc having a mental breakdown and depression also counts as being possesed by a magical artifact/evil being in the heads of FEHeroes staff.

I'm pretty sure the next Fallen banner will be a FE17 fest - you can't make me believe Fallen!Emblems weren't thought with FEH in mind.
Fallen!Lyn, Fallen!Marth, etc etc.
Morph!Linus being such a chatterbox really pisses me off, but what else could they do with morphs, especially the endgame ones who are just more or less zombies?
(BTW I could rant all day long about FEH's Vigarde, FEH tried to make us believe he was under Fomortiis' control like a second meat puppet? But imo it was clear in game Vigarde was an animated corpse, like an upgraded Monica!)
Fallen Heroes stopped making any sense and are just a way to sell edgy!alts, even if some are hits, some are clear misses (and some try to correct plot points that were never mentionned in their base game like Fallen!Rhea lol).
I still note you forgot the only Fallen Hero I'm expecting : Fallen!Wrys.
Also I really really really don't want to have Momo - because all materials, from FE16 to Nopes to even FEH (thanks to that newest Sothis/Billy alt) are allergic to shed too much light on relics, Nabateans and the Red Canyon - but damn if Momo "uwu the femur I picked from a subhuman I used as weapon - complete with the essence of said subhuman acting as its core - corrupts me and I'm so so so sad save me :( :( :("
It's like hearing Rodyle from Tales of Symphonia's sobfest that "oh noes the device I've been building by harvesting hundred of people doesn't make me super powerful but turns me in an unstable monster instead T-T"
Ditto for Miklan, especially if this goes in a "crust bad" tangeant, because omg, a bandit, again, steals bones and hearts of a nabatean, again, to do bandit things, again, and suffers from backlash - but somehow it's the nabatean who is used as a weapon's fault because his blood wasn't passed on the Miklan? Nopes managed to make him more bearable, returning to his FE16 version would be a disservice.
But with this alt, I hope Nopes' vanishes from memory and we return to more "normal" fallen!alts, even if we're scrapping the bottom of the barrel - but given what they managed to do for Maria, I have hope they could pull something for the FE5!Deadlords, the Cipher cards, some Fates risen and, ultimately, the entire Engage cast.

Divine Paralogues
Guess who finally got around to buying and playing the Engage DLC?
So apparently I just head to the Lookout Ridge to pick up the 3H bracelet.
Ooh, new invocation for the list! “Lead us, Emblem of Rivals!”
XD omg they did the 3H box art pose!
Okay, so I’ve already beaten the game at this point on this save file, so I’m getting a neat lil Byleth dialogue that I’m assuming is a bonus since they can be unlocked WAY earlier than when you get him.
I’ve heard that Tiki’s paralogue is pretty tough, so I find it interesting that in the same DLC wave as her came a new Emblem that you can just get by walking to a specific spot and has a starting weapon that is effective against dragons. And I mean that in the sense of there being other Emblems that also have later weapons that can be effective against dragons, but if you bought the DLC on launch and started it as soon as it was unlocked, you wouldn’t any of those Emblems or weapons unlocked yet.
And now we have “Dream well, Emblem of Dragons!” for the list.
Omg, LOVE that she starts that Emblem wake-up as a dragon.
Hear that, Alear? Tiki is ALSO a Divine Dragon, SO WHERE ARE YOUR POINTY EARS?!

Why is Alfred giving us instructions/advice this paralogue when in all the other ones, it’s been Vander doing that?

I very much remember how all consuming the ship thoughts were just after playing my first chrobin run of Awakening--I really *needed* to read / think about 100 different ways they could fall in love and that their relationship could play out to cope LOL. I am so thrilled that my fics have been able to help fill that role for you!! And also that you like them enough you'd want to read them more than once in the first place dfjgdf that's a huge compliment and means more to me than I really know how to say 💜
Also this song !!!!!!! Omg I've never heard it before but I already love it after one listen and can definitely see why you would think of it! The lyrics very much capture that misalignment in how I like to write about Chrom and Robin approaching love / their feelings for each other. There are quite a few lines in here that make me feel CRAZY when applied to Chrobin (in a very good way). Also I love that despite the fact that the female part is insisting like "I don't love you like that and it'll kill us if I don't let you go" with the implication that she's going to HAVE to let him go to save them both, like--the song still ends with that abrupt cut off implying that she *wasn't* able to bring herself to let go in time and AaAAAAA. God. Losing my mind over Them 🥹

Here's a wild concept. Lucina and Inigo as siblings but they're into their respective parents. So they mutually agree to alter the timeline and deceive their parents. Lucina marries Chrom and actually has Inigo as her son. Inigo marries Olivia and has Lucina as his daughter. Since no one knows the truth, the new timeline has Inigo/Lucina. New Lucina might possibly have traits of Soleil.
omg Soleil-Lucina sounds so much fun. so chaotic. New Inigo would probably also be a bit different. (I mean even without this, their personalities would all change without the war). I imagine he’d be just a little less shy, and maybe a little more duty-oriented. Still just as silly though!
They’d have an extremely chaotic relationship, I think, but it would actually be quite sweet.
I wonder—would original Inigo and Lucina have something going on too? Since they’re the only two who know the truth, I could imagine them confiding in each other. I could also imagine them being pretty turned on by the fact that they deceived their parents successfully, and that would probably come up in ….conversation a lot.
