Lucina and Inigo probably roleplayed as their parents when they were younger, and while they enjoyed their time together, their hearts yearned for their respective parent.
I imagine by a bit of cope sex with Lucina putting on Olivia's old dancer outfit, but self conscious she's not a busty as her mother.
Lucina tells Inigo that given the timeline is corrupted and won't save their world, she might as well risk it and fulfill her darkest wish. To marry Chrom. Inigo nods and understands. He enjoyed Lucina, but she's not Olivia. Leaping to the past way further than their comrades after they did, the future kids that arrive are from a timeline where to them, Lucina is a queen of Ylisse and Inigo is the husband of Olivia.
When Lucina marries Chrom and has Inigo, she names him Azur (reference to Inigo's Japanese name). Azur (New Inigo looks a bit by Inigo perhaps more like Chrom appearance in body type and chin). More assured, confident, still a flirt but more suave about it.
Soleil-Lucina (or just Soleil) is a fusion of Lucina and Soleil. Very flirty and possessing Olivia's body proportions, a proud and very sensual dancer who gets along well with Azur.
Lucina and Inigo laugh how history has sort of repeated itself, but they're happy this way and glad that a version of themselves found each other. The relationship that almost could have been if things were different.
Chrom and Olivia oblivious to the truth, merely happy in their spouses, and their children/grandchildren.

Here's a wild concept. Lucina and Inigo as siblings but they're into their respective parents. So they mutually agree to alter the timeline and deceive their parents. Lucina marries Chrom and actually has Inigo as her son. Inigo marries Olivia and has Lucina as his daughter. Since no one knows the truth, the new timeline has Inigo/Lucina. New Lucina might possibly have traits of Soleil.
omg Soleil-Lucina sounds so much fun. so chaotic. New Inigo would probably also be a bit different. (I mean even without this, their personalities would all change without the war). I imagine he’d be just a little less shy, and maybe a little more duty-oriented. Still just as silly though!
They’d have an extremely chaotic relationship, I think, but it would actually be quite sweet.
I wonder—would original Inigo and Lucina have something going on too? Since they’re the only two who know the truth, I could imagine them confiding in each other. I could also imagine them being pretty turned on by the fact that they deceived their parents successfully, and that would probably come up in ….conversation a lot.
