7 seasons into Peak Practice, and here’s what I’ve concluded: No character gets a satisfying ending on this show. Actors quit so characters get hurried off, leaving for no good reason or dying unexpectedly, usually after acting like an asshole. It’s as though the writers think they have to make you dislike the departing character to get you to like their replacement. But of course that only makes you wary of getting invested in anyone. And still I watch.
