"I think he sees glory in his friend — in this man that he loves and cares for. Really he's a nursemaid and minds him, and a friend. And uh..yknow, I think Sharpe is lucky to have this man Harper who is totally commited to him."
— Daragh O'Malley, Sharpe's Mission BTS
anyways watch Sharpe bc there's so much bisexual tension and pining bromance and also sean and daragh are phenomenal (im not just saying this bc its my namesake) (or just bc i love sean bean) (its sincerely a fun show i promise) (funny and dramatic and sometimes cheesy by todays standards and sometimes sad, a bit oldschool but the characters are amazing and well played by their actors.) Dude, just trust me.

One (nice) surprise I've noticed since I began this whole Spoon Lagoon campaign is that people in America really love #Taskmaster. Even though, afaik, the US spin-off didn't catch on. Are the UK series prominent on streaming services overseas? Or do a lot of British TV loving folk browse Etsy? ...your task began when you finish reading this caption. Get your Taskmaster inspired Wooden Spoon here, it makes the PERFECT trophy if you're lucky enough to be playing the Taskmaster games with friends.

7 seasons into Peak Practice, and here’s what I’ve concluded: No character gets a satisfying ending on this show. Actors quit so characters get hurried off, leaving for no good reason or dying unexpectedly, usually after acting like an asshole. It’s as though the writers think they have to make you dislike the departing character to get you to like their replacement. But of course that only makes you wary of getting invested in anyone. And still I watch.

In your latest collaboration, the FX series A Murder at the End of the World, out November 14, an eccentric billionaire, played by Clive Owen, summons an eclectic group of strangers to his exclusive enclave in Iceland, where one of them winds up dead. Emma Corrin plays Darby Hart, a writer who investigates that death. Like your series The OA, A Murder at the End of the World combines technology, otherworldliness, and intrigue in a story that takes place in the not-too-distant future. But let’s go backward: How did you two meet? Zal Batmanglij: I met Brit when we were both at Georgetown University. This was a few decades ago, and the school was having their first-ever film festival. My friend Mike and I had made two short films, and Brit, who was 18 and a freshman, led the standing ovation for our movies. I thought, Who is this magical girl? She was so blonde, like Cosette in Les Misérables coming to life...We became aware, as we got older, that queer folks and women make great creative partnerships. Look at Patti Smith and Robert Mapplethorpe, Nan Goldin and David Armstrong. Queer people and women—we inspire each other!

SNEAK PEAK OF THE THING I'M MAKING :33
Also a headcanon!
Brit borrowed Mallick's copy of SURVIVE (signed obv) and read it whole
But not because she respects Bobby in any way, or because she agrees with the premise of the book
But because she sees that it's important for Mallick and she wants to check it out
And inside she discovers that he actually has been highlighting and marking the things that he found important
And scribbled some exclamation marks to parts he found really important
Occasionally some small notes
And she basically reads it twice, the second time purely to understand his perspective of surviving the trap...
HEAR ME OUT UGHHH
