3. Do you anticipate writing for a new fandom this year? Which one?
Oh, I’m the worst in regards to this as I tend to fall into just one fandom at a time and I don’t watch very much TV or many films. Other than what I see on tumblr, I probably couldn’t tell you about anything going on in any shows right now (not even the one I write for – which I’m still two seasons behind on). There’s a small handful of couples I really enjoy, but only the one that makes me want to write fanfiction at this moment.
I would, however, like to go back and finish a long fic I’d been working on for the Charity/Vanessa (Emmerdale) fandom. I think we’re all resigned to the notion that couple will never be returned to us, but my story versions of them deserve the happy ending they were robbed of in canon. And I hate leaving anything unfinished.
If I had to wager a guess on what might draw my attention, it’d probably be the show Brassic because I really am rooting for Vinnie and Erin to get together even though they’re both totally agreed it would be awful. And it probably would be. But oh, that singular moment of happiness? That shit would make me soft. Maybe I’ll write a spec script for that show and toss it in my portfolio or something.
6. Which yet-to-be-started fic is first on your list?
I talked about it briefly in an answer to another question from this list. But maybe getting a few hundred words in several times in the last six months counts as starting it?
In which case, I want to explore more couple-centric and canon-compliant ideas in the coming year. I’ve spent so much of the last year deeply invested in my own created universe for these characters (which, honestly, I’ve needed with the stress of school), and it’s allowed me to keep from truly getting involved with the genuine storylines of the show. But it’s also kept me from reading a lot of other people’s work. I want to dive back into fandom present and explore who these characters are on screen right now. Besides, I’m sure everyone will eventually get tired of Andrea and Beatrice, even though I could probably write their stories for the rest of my life.

A Little Spliffette - A Brassic Fic
Part 1
Watching that police van drive away was one of the hardest things Erin had to ever do. The first hardest thing she had to do was to lie about Tyler's father... if she could do it again, she probably would have told Vinnie from the start.
Despite his faults, ever since he found out about Tyler being his son he stepped up. Tyler was still in the dark about it. Perhaps, one day when he would understand, she would tell him.
She lied.
Vinnie was never "just a shag".
Dylan had never said anything remotely like what Vinnie had said to her as the police dragged away.
Whispering it back was impulse. Deep down she always knew that she felt something for Vincent O'Neil that she didn't feel for anyone else.
Not Dylan.
And certainly not Jake.
"Ah... me fucking head." He groaned the morning after they did it. She was sitting at the edge of the bed, putting her shoes on.
Vinnie sat himself up and looked her up and down with his eyebrows furrowed.
"Erin... jesus. What the fuck did I drink last night?"
Erin turned her head to the side with a smile even though what she was feeling was deep shame and regret.
"You mixed drink and pills." Erin reminded him. "You always get like that."
"I really need to stop doing that." Vinnie had a hand on the side of his head. He looked to the side of the bed that Erin had woken up in. "Did we...? Cuz... I'm gonna be honest. I was so wasted. Can't bloody remember what happened last night."
The sentence that followed had the power to alter the course of the future.
"No." Erin lied. "You just passed out. You had your arm around me and I didn't want to wake you up."
Vinnie nodded, "...you wouldn't want a piece of this when I'm hammered anyway..."
He was good though. Erin couldn't help but think that. Perhaps it was his mind that made him more... calmer in bed. Despite everything that happened to him, Vinnie was a good man and it killed her to lie.
"You want some breakfast?" Erin asked.
"You sure?" Vinnie tilted his head, "don't want to be a bother."
"It's fine."

The first time I watched Hannibal it was at the same time as I watching Brassic for the first time and it has caused me brainworms that make want a Hannigram petty crime AU so bad.
So like imagine Hannibal as the local Big Man(tm) and Will as a weird but intelligent lackey who started as a lackey who was just doing crimes cause he needed the money to stay alive but then they're becoming mutually enamoured with each other and Will is accepting crazier and crazier jobs just to appease his boss who is hm he's a bit scary but also :blush emoji: you know?
And his friends and confidants are like "remember when u were just selling weed to pay rent? now ur gay for ur boss and its kinda Weird, man"
I have issues.
Put "📓" or some other version of a book emoji into my inbox and I'll explain the plot of a fanfiction that I haven't written but daydream about.
