It's been a long while since the last time I was able to translate something. Since there's a huge drought of Okakuri contents in this period I thought it would be nice to do a quick editing of this devastating emotional scene taken from the "Babel Of The Grieved Maze Manga". Why Kurisu didn't confess her feelings immediately
We know for a fact that she LOVES Okabe.
But for multiple reasons she didn’t confess in words:
1- Being shocked and flustered when Okabe confessed.
2- Not wanting to complicate things for Okabe. Not wanting to cause him more pain. Not wanting to let things end in a bad way.
These are her thoughts revealed by the 6th part of Steins;Gate Drama CD alpha - Babel of the Grieved Maze - Part 6.
3- Kurisu was still confused and contradicting herself: I want him to remember me, forget me, remember me.
And so on…
Thanks to Faris and the tape she let her listen to, Kurisu doubt faded. And she decided to say the words and convey the feelings and embrace herself, her existence in this world and being a labmem. And gave him the prober Good Bye. Hoping that her feelings and her words will reach him her, and will reach herself in the future, in a world where neither die nor Mayuri dies to be found by Okabe in another worldline. It's so beautiful, so romantic, so emotional

Makes Kurisu for the "send me a character" post :p
Favorite thing about them: I like her position as the main heroine because most series I’ve seen usually have the “smart one” in the main cast be the main character like Code Geass or a side character to avoid overshadowing the main character, especially if said genius is female, so I’ve always liked that S;G wasn’t afraid to show off her intelligence.
Least favorite thing about them: She was so weirdly tsun regarding Okabe in R;N DaSH and I’m like “Quoi? o-o ” Baby girl nuuuuu, this is not what the 0 anime and Deja Vu movie were pointing your character towards :(
Favorite line: “I’ve only lived 18 years, but I don’t want to change any of them. They’re all part of my life, even the failures.”
brOTP: Kurisu/Maho obviously comes to mind, but I also think Kurisu/Mayuri is underrated like sciency tsundere + sweet cinnamon roll and I always wish we got to see Mayuri remember Kurisu in Steins;Gate 0 but alas 💔 Also like Kurisu/Faris considering Kurisu tries to hide her feelings but Faris is someone who can see right through people, and I liked the Babel of the Grieved Maze storyline that focused on them.

random headcanon: Kurisu gets easily flustered when trying to play through Otome games (that Yuki insisted on her to try playing).
unpopular opinion: Girl got screwed over in the 0 VN (specifically Vega and Altair), hence one reason I liked the anime adaptation better.
