Floral Tribute

Evening will come, however determined the late afternoon,
Limes and oaks in their last green flush, pearled in September mist.
I have conjured a lily to light these hours, a token of thanks,
Zones and auras of soft glare framing the brilliant globes.
A promise made and kept for life – that was your gift –
Because of which, here is a gift in return, glovewort to some,
Each shining bonnet guarded by stern lance-like leaves.
The country loaded its whole self into your slender hands,
Hands that can rest, now, relieved of a century's weight.
Evening has come. Rain on the black lochs and dark Munros.
Lily of the Valley, a namesake almost, a favourite flower

"I think chiefly it's because we ask so many questions of him and a lot of our questions aren't answered. Even in talking about the character, it's interesting - you, you don't want to reduce the character at all because the pleasure for the reader, or for the viewer, is that you think: 'I think he's this' or 'I think he's that', and I think there's a huge range of reactions to the character."
"What was transgressive about it was that you really root for somebody who's doing pretty despicable things in any other circumstance, and her great gift I think was to make you root for somebody; he's a proper anti-hero in that sense, and so...you want him to get away with it. And so for that reason, you know I never think of him as a - as a villain or a sociopath or anything like that; I don't think he's a natural born killer - he just ends up doing some things out of necessity. And I think he's got charm and I think there's a sort of vulnerability to the character that I really liked, so I think the fact that we can spend this amount of, sort of elongated time with him- this is eight and a half hours of Ripley - and we spend a huge amount of time with him. I think that's possibly why he, he's so enduring."
"It - it doesn't feel similar to me. Of course there are elements of - it's dark; it's very dark, and it's very different to my own, you know, genial kind of personality, but it does feel different. I felt like when I was playing James Moriarty that I was playing a villain, and for some reason I really - I retreat against calling Tom Ripley a villain. I think he's an anti-hero - that's what I think he is, and I think it's up to me to make the audience imagine what it's like to be Tom Ripley; not to be a victim of Tom Ripley. That's what we should feel like - we should feel like we should empathise with him, and I don't necessarily think that that's the, the job of an antagonist or a, a villain. Tom is the protagonist in this and so for that reason I don't - I just, I just don't see him in that way."
"Yeah. That's the thing; exactly right, and I think, you know, the novel is called The Talented Mr Ripley. This is a, a man with enormous amounts of talent, but he lives in streets that are - where his neighbours are, are literally rats. He lives completely unseen and he's allowed to do what he, he does in order to survive, like so many people do. And then he's - he lands in the middle of this world where people are less talented than him, and have absolutely no qualms in calling themselves artists when actually they don't really have the same talent that he does, and they take for granted what they have. There's something about just the message of the story which is if you dismiss certain factions of the community, something becomes rotten in the, in the state of Denmark, you know."
"Yeah, I think that's a - I think that's pretty, pretty accurate. It's a very good question, and I think the answers are less interesting than the question in some way. We don't necessarily know with certain people in our lives what our relationship with them is; do I want to sleep with that person, or do I really like that person, or do I envy that person? Do I not like them at all or am I just fascinated with them? So I think the sort of mercurial nature of his attitude towards Dickie and their relationship - and also Dickie's relationship to Tom, what Tom wants from Dickie., is does he have feelings; reciprocated feelings, whether they're negative or, or positive or whether they're romantic or, or not."
"Well, yeah, that was a concern of mine because, he's, you know, he's, in the book he's, he's younger than I am - thank you for that, I'm glad I came. I feel like what was more interesting or was certainly; that was, that was definitely a question of mine and how much of that is, is at the essence of what the character is and would, would I be right because I'm older than the character as written. I suppose what I wanted to come across was that he is in someway ageless and actually he's just a man and he's not very young and he's not very old. And so, I don't know - I think Steve has done a very good job in directing the audience towards not being particularly interested in that part of it. He was looking for the attributes of the character within whatever actor he chose, and so I certainly felt a kinship with the character and I felt like there's something about his biography that in some ways isn't really that interesting. And that goes with his date of birth or his nationality or his place of birth or his family; there are so many things about Tom Ripley that we don't know about him; I think that's one of the things that makes him kind of interesting. When you have a backstory about a character, it gives the audience some sort of power; I always think the reason that we're frightened of people when we're walking down a dark alleyway and this person approaches us - the reason that we're frightened is because we don't know anything about them. And so to have knowledge about another person is to give yourself power, and that's the reason that I think he's got such power is because you're not sure he's telling the truth at all times."
"I do yes, yeah. Ireland is just in my heart; I'm very - very proud of being an Irish person, whatever that means, and one becomes more aware of your Irishness I think when you're away from Ireland and so I do love being there, and that seems to be becoming stronger as the years go by."

So, this morning's sacrificial lamb was the Transport MInister, Anne-Marie Trevelyan.
I only heard the interview on the BBC Radio 4 "Today" programme, and it was something to behold.
It was particularly fascinating to be able to hear Mishal Husain's facial expressions (not easy on the radio!) as she was wondering if she was being gaslighted whilst conducting the actual interview.
"Steady as she goes" seems to be today's mantra from the (current) crew of the Titantic.

The creation of sexually explicit "deepfake" images is to be made a criminal offence in England and Wales under a new law, the government says.
Under the legislation, anyone making explicit images of an adult without their consent will face a criminal record and unlimited fine.
It will apply regardless of whether the creator of an image intended to share it, the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) said.
And if the image is then shared more widely, they could face jail.
A deepfake is an image or video that has been digitally altered with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to replace the face of one person with the face of another.
Recent years have seen the growing use of the technology to add the faces of celebrities or public figures - most often women - into pornographic films.
Channel 4 News presenter Cathy Newman, who discovered her own image used as part of a deepfake video, told BBC Radio 4's Today programme it was "incredibly invasive".
Ms Newman found she was a victim as part of a Channel 4 investigation into deepfakes.
"It was violating... it was kind of me and not me," she said, explaining the video displayed her face but not her hair.
Ms Newman said finding perpetrators is hard, adding: "This is a worldwide problem, so we can legislate in this jurisdiction, it might have no impact on whoever created my video or the millions of other videos that are out there."
She said the person who created the video is yet to be found.
Under the Online Safety Act, which was passed last year, the sharing of deepfakes was made illegal.
The new law will make it an offence for someone to create a sexually explicit deepfake - even if they have no intention to share it but "purely want to cause alarm, humiliation, or distress to the victim", the MoJ said.
Clare McGlynn, a law professor at Durham University who specialises in legal regulation of pornography and online abuse, told the Today programme the legislation has some limitations.
She said it "will only criminalise where you can prove a person created the image with the intention to cause distress", and this could create loopholes in the law.
It will apply to images of adults, because the law already covers this behaviour where the image is of a child, the MoJ said.
It will be introduced as an amendment to the Criminal Justice Bill, which is currently making its way through Parliament.
Minister for Victims and Safeguarding Laura Farris said the new law would send a "crystal clear message that making this material is immoral, often misogynistic, and a crime".
"The creation of deepfake sexual images is despicable and completely unacceptable irrespective of whether the image is shared," she said.
"It is another example of ways in which certain people seek to degrade and dehumanise others - especially women.
"And it has the capacity to cause catastrophic consequences if the material is shared more widely. This Government will not tolerate it."
Cally Jane Beech, a former Love Island contestant who earlier this year was the victim of deepfake images, said the law was a "huge step in further strengthening of the laws around deepfakes to better protect women".
"What I endured went beyond embarrassment or inconvenience," she said.
"Too many women continue to have their privacy, dignity, and identity compromised by malicious individuals in this way and it has to stop. People who do this need to be held accountable."
Shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper described the creation of the images as a "gross violation" of a person's autonomy and privacy and said it "must not be tolerated".
"Technology is increasingly being manipulated to manufacture misogynistic content and is emboldening perpetrators of Violence Against Women and Girls," she said.
"That's why it is vital for the government to get ahead of these fast-changing threats and not to be outpaced by them.
"It's essential that the police and prosecutors are equipped with the training and tools required to rigorously enforce these laws in order to stop perpetrators from acting with impunity."

S on BBC 4's Saturday Live: 'anything but a quiet life'
As you all know, S was today on BBC Four's Saturday Live radio talk show, sharing the scene with people like super male model David Gandy, Catrin Finch - a Welsh harpist of international repute and the ever fascinating Lucy Worsley, a strong contender (along with Mary Beard) for the title of personal favorite (living) historian.

The show is always interesting and I strongly suggest to let it play along and not rely only on my summing up & comments. I particularly enjoyed Lucy Worsley's Medieval and Baroque musical selection (flawless!) - but enough said, we're here for S, who was live on show from BBC's London studios.
As usually, I am going to transcript it as much as I can, primarily for those reading this post and using Google Translate (@bat-cat-reader, you are served!). So, you will kindly excuse the length, thank you.
At the 07:40 mark, a half jocular mention when prompted by the host: not a cricketer and not a harpist either (you can say many things about S, but not that he's got no humor - always a big plus in my book). But then things quickly get emotional, when he immediately mentions his mother (the question generally asked was 'what did your parents sacrifice for you?'), who 'sacrificed a lot (...) [as] a single parent, (...) she gave us everything, I think'. And then he quickly gets emotional, mentioning Chrissie H. again:
'(...) can I give my mom a shoutout, it's her birthday, on Monday [Nikki Bedi, presenter: 'aww, of course you can!'], so happy birthday, Chrissie, and thank you so much and I wish... I'm glad you never got me a harp, because I would have never dedicated myself. I think that's why I became an actor, because I didn't have to work too hard at one thing.'
It's then David Gandy's turn to talk about his own rural childhood in Billericay (Essex), his close knit family and his parents' endeavor of building a business and the now incomprehensible need to use faxes, something he has now to 'explain to the younger ones'. Then Nikki Bedi turns to S (13:08): 'Sam's laughing at that. Do you remember faxes?' Answer: 'I do.. I mean, I remember faxes getting scripts through or couriers bringing you know, scripts to your door, it..it's just a completely different world, now, and I am sure the fashion world is completely different now, isn't it, David, I mean it's changed so much'.
Onwards to more questions asked by Mrs. Bedi. This one was interesting (19:16): 'Sam, do you fear that each job you do is an act that could be your last? Is that always in the back or front of your mind?' Answer: 'Yeah, I think.. David, I mean...um... earnestly, everything you're saying there kinda rings true for my career as well... I am sure for Catrin being, you know, being a musician, I think it's, you know [Nikki Bedi: is it true, Catrin? CF: yes, absolutely, yeah, many things David said... it's the same (...)'].
Huw Stevens mentions alternatives to 'gigs', the need to plan for the future and the fact 'you always have to remain busy', mentioning S's whisky. Gandy also mentions S ('you've got quite a few businesses [...] a man after my own heart, we'll then gonna have to go out'), immediately cued in by Nikki Bedi ('whisky, tequila, gin').
Just after Lucy Worsley's superb intervention (easily my favorite of the whole program!), cue in to the kilt on a glacier part of S's chit-chat I am sure we all dutifully 🙄, by now. I noted the slight hesitation in his voice, while mentioning 'my...my friend, Graham McTavish', so I will not - yeah, sue me-, I repeat: I will not transcript this verbatim, simply because it doesn't really bring anything new or important to what we all know, already. Sitting on a glacier 'in a kilt, in commando, yes, it's my claim to fame'. Disgruntled Tumblrettes, beware - he poked fun at himself (shall I sign this to you, or are you able to read my lips?) and that is something only very intelligent people are able to do without sounding pathetic. Another interesting thing is the way Nikki Bedi presented S ('the actor, award-winning liquor maker and writer'- 36:00), roughly midway of the whole broadcast.
His dedicated segment begins at the 49:10 mark and lasts until the end, about 10 minutes in all. He was introduced by Huw Stevens: "Sam Heughan, it seems, would like anything but a quiet life", plus some cursory bio elements, mentioning his mother's influence on his own creativity, his breakthrough as JAMMF, but also TCND (Nikki Bedi watches it and 'apparently the third episode is the most steamy' 🤦♀️). 'He is also a philanthropist, businessman and thrill seeker, and of course, as mentioned earlier, has his own whisky and is a best-selling author'. Mentions his 'parents, characterful people, hippies, in the Seventies, with a love for Tolkien'. S: 'my mum would probably kill me if I called her a hippie' - also, 'she is not the best singer, but there was always music around'. Stevens mentions the Gandalf's Garden Soho hippie community both his parents were a part of before he was born, but S doesn't develop it. The rest (difficult childhood, loner, using his imagination sparked his creativity, etc) we know from Waypoints. The very Scottish concept of 'stravaigin'' comes along in the conversation, which is not exactly a drifter and a bit more than a wanderer (if I understood correctly) - perhaps a good title for a second personal memoir, S? I'll leave this idea float in here for free, heh. OL comes along then, and by far the most interesting thing he mentioned about it is that "it is my life, it's taken over my life', hoping it would sparkle at least some conversation in the comments' thread. OL 'has also been hugely beneficial for Scotland, increased tourism by 200% in some locations (...), and it's all down to the magic of Scotland'.
Next projects: exciting not to really know what is next, but 'I am also saying no to a lot, because I am in a place now where I think the next decision is really important (...). I enjoy being in control now (....), producing my own shows and you know, my own products. (...) once you take control of that creativity (....) there's a lot of freedom and yeah, we shall see'.
And then Huw Stevens makes a joke - but was it really a joke? it's the BBC, after all - and says that all four of the guests could contribute something to what 'could be the next generation of Bond', (S: 'the finest British production'). Cue in an anecdote about S being invited to present an event to Buckingham Palace and taking a cab to a pub, right afterwards. MPC and tomorrow's book signing at Saint Pancras station wrap off the show.
Quickly, my 50 cents on it: way, way better than expected and S always delivers when they ask no weird questions about his private life (hallelujah, maybe they listen to us, after all?). The question about the fear of each job being the last reminded me of one of his answers in a very early interview: 'your biggest fear? getting the sack'. This time, his answer, whatever he intended to say, got lost in the brouhaha, but I suspect not much has changed, essentially, even if the 'after OL' part of the show strives to tell a more optimistic story.
But the thing that impressed me the most and in a very good way is the attention he got from all the other people invited in that studio. Unlike the social nobodies of Tumblr, they did not find bizarre the fact that he created his own spirits business and is actively promoting it. They were far from judging him: in fact, I even think he made a new friend of David Gandy, who had quite positive and nice and honest things to say about him. S was articulate and graceful and very moving every single time he mentioned Chrissie. And I am also sure he would have loved to share more things, especially when David was lovingly talking about his wife and daughters. But he couldn't. And that is a shame. But this too, shall pass - The Boy is slowly learning to say no to a lot of things, as he just let us know. Probably the best news we've got from him in a good while.
And now, onwards to a particularly venomous Anon I am still pondering the answer to.

‘Sir Paul McCartney says he has employed artificial intelligence to help create what he calls "the final Beatles record".
He told BBC Radio 4's Today programme the technology had been used to "extricate" John Lennon's voice from an old demo so he could complete the song.
"We just finished it up and it'll be released this year," he explained.
Sir Paul did not name the song, but it is likely to be a 1978 Lennon composition called Now And Then.’

UK government under pressure from Tories to stop arming Israel

Ministers are under pressure from Tory MPs and peers to stop arming Israel after seven humanitarian aid workers were killed by an Israeli airstrike in Gaza.
Three Conservatives told the Guardian on Wednesday that the UK should stop exporting arms to Israel after the strike, which killed three British aid workers.
Their intervention comes after Peter Ricketts, who was a government national security adviser during David Cameron’s premiership, said the “time has come” to send a signal and stop exporting arms.

The Liberal Democrats called on Wednesday morning for UK arms exports to Israel to be suspended. The SNP said parliament should be recalled from its Easter recess to discuss the crisis.

Lord Ricketts, who is also a former permanent secretary of the Foreign Office, told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “I think there’s abundant evidence now that Israel hasn’t been taking enough care to fulfil its obligations on the safety of civilians. And a country that gets arms from the UK has to comply with international humanitarian law. That’s a condition of the arms export licence. So honestly, I think the time has come to send that signal.
“It won’t change the course of the war. It would be a powerful political message. And it might just stimulate debate in the US as well, which would be the real gamechanger.”

This Morning -
The Chief Whip and deputy have unresigned. Apparently they felt undermined by Climate Minister, Graham Stuart, who said it wasn't a confidence vote after the whips said it was.
Tory peer, Lord Ed Vaizey reckons Liz Truss should go: "In terms of shocking self belief, there will be five or six people out there who genuinely believe they could be prime minister." The trick, he says, will be appointing someone as leader who can command the loyalty of the parliamentary party.
MP Crispin Blunt is sticking to his guns after being the first to call for Truss to resign after Kwasi Kwarteng was fired (nice to see a Tory MP not performing a U-turn). He says Liz Truss should be removed from office today, it should have been clear she was incapable of leading the party, never even should have put herself up for the leadership, and Rishi Sunak or Jeremy Hunt should be appointed PM.
On a side-note, does anyone else remember when Jeremy Hunt was the worst Tory MP you could think of?
In the meantime, Transport Secretary Anne-Marie Trevelyan has said that Liz Truss is the right person to be leading the Conservative Party. "She's a prime minister and we continue to support her," Trevelyan told BBC Breakfast.
Tory MP, Simon Hoare told BBC Radio 4's Today programme that he feels "anger, despair, sadness" as "good work which has been done over recent years appears to be dissolving before our eyes". He's giving Liz Truss 12 hours to turn things around or she'll be out. "I have never known a growing sense of pessimism in all wings of the Tory party."
Not content with letting the BBC have all the interviews, Kirstie Buchanan, formerly media adviser to Liz Truss, told ITV's Good Morning Britain, "The last few weeks have been like watching the government through your fingers, it's excruciating, but I have never seen anything like last night, it was carnage."

'Andrew Scott has played a number of iconic roles in his career thus far, including the hot priest in Fleabag and the villainous C in Spectre, but he is still perhaps best known for his role as Jim Moriarty in the BBC's Sherlock.
Scott played the villain between 2010 and 2017, and now he is starring as a similarly manipulative character in Netflix's Ripley, a new adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's novel The Talented Mr Ripley.
Speaking to Radio 4's Today programme, however, Scott was quick to lay out the distinctions between the two characters, explaining that "it doesn't feel similar" playing them.
He explained: "Of course there are elements... it's dark, it's very dark, and it's very different to my own genial kind of personality.
"But it does feel different. I felt like when I was playing James Moriarty that I was playing a villain, and for some reason I really retreat against calling Tom Ripley a villain."
He continued: "I think he’s an anti-hero, that's what I think he is, and I think it’s up to me to make the audience imagine what it’s like to be Tom Ripley, not to be a victim of Tom Ripley. That's what we should feel like.
"We should empathise with him, and I don't necessarily think that that's the job of an antagonist or a villain. Tom is the protagonist in this, and so for that reason I just don't see him in that way."
Scott also said of playing Ripley: "I don't think he's a natural-born killer, he just ends up doing some things out of necessity - and I think he's got charm, and I think there's a sort of vulnerability to the character that I really liked."
The new Netflix series, which is arriving on Thursday 4th April, follows Scott's character Ripley as he scrapes by as a grifter in early 1960s New York, when he is hired by a wealthy man to travel to Italy to try to convince his vagabond son to return home.
Sherlock co-creator Mark Gatiss recently said that he and Steven Moffat would "love to make a Sherlock movie", calling it "the natural thing to do" but adding that there were difficulties involved.
Ripley will arrive on Netflix on Thursday 4th April...'

12/11/2017: Andrew Morton announces new biography of Meghan. Rebecca English writes about Meghan's yoga influencing. Meghan's "Sexy Santa" costume from Deal or No Deal is republished. Kensington Palace announces William and Kate's trip to Sweden and Norway, and The Times debunks The Crown.
12/12/2017: Harry and his friends kill 15 boars during German hunting trip (Meghan's not happy). Harry and Meghan take credit for William and Kate showing a little PDA on an engagement, while Meghan merches her parka. Later, William and Harry attend the Star Wars premiere.
12/13/2017: Kensingon Palace officially confirms Meghan is spending Christmas with the royals. Meghan is revealed as Google's most-searched celebrity of 2017. Meghan merches her handbags, especially Strathberry's, and modernizes the monarchy.
A UK survey finds that a majority of their respondents are unhappy with Harry's engagement:
67% of women surveyed are devastated by the engagement announcement.
20% of overall respondents prefer Harry to be single.
57% of respondents are against Harry marrying Meghan.
And Meghan leaks that Kate has taken her under her wing to protect her from negative parts of royal life. She tells The Express that "Harry is like a brother to Kate and she has never seen him so happy."
12/14/2017: Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, announces that he expects to preside over the royal wedding. In the morning, the royals attend a service for Grenfell Tower at St. Paul's Cathedral (Meghan isn't allowed) and they gather again in the afternoon for The Queen's annual Windsor Christmas luncheon at Buckingham Palace (Meghan is invited). In the evening, the Kensington Palace Christmas party is held at a nearby restaurant that Harry and Meghan may or may not have attended (it's claimed they left early) while William and Kate are papped leaving.
Meghan merches Strathberry again and she is named the #4 Fashion Influencer of the Year, besting Kate who comes in at #5. (I really doubt Kate cares about this.)
12/15/2017: Kensington Palace announces the wedding date. Palace gift shops begin selling engagement memorabilia. Harry visits Sandhurst Academy and awards Cadet of the Year. Idris Elba shows support for Meghan while Meghan merches tea tree oil.
12/16/2017: Meghan teases a Canada tour post-wedding again.
12/17/2017:
The Daily Mail reminds us that Meghan is attending royal Christmas.
Harry announces that he has interviewed Barack Obama for BBC Radio 4 Today, but the interview won't air until the end of the month.
Meghan used to work at a yogurt store in LA as a teenager and everyone just loved her.
William's diary clash: Harry scheduled his wedding on the same day as the FA Cup Final, which William usually attends.
To prep The Queen and Prince Philip for spending Christmas with Meghan, Harry says he has shown them clips of Meghan in Suits.
Windsor hotels begin to profit off the wedding by marketing Meghan and Harry.
12/18/2017: The Cambridges release their Christmas card photo and Kensington Palace announces that Charlotte will begin nursery school in the new year. Meghan is voted one of the UK's ideal Christmas dinner guests and she leaks that The Queen likes her better than Kate but Buckingham Palace hits back with a denial.
12/19/2017: William and Kate attend the Royal Variety Performance. Meghan tries to ride their coattails by hinting she and Harry may be their guests and Harry is appointed Captain General Royal Marines, succeeding Philip.
Sketches of potential wedding dresses are published/leaked again.
Doria is papped at a LA laundromat.

Meghan leaks that The Queen wants her and Harry to have a prenup and that she (Meghan) is hurt the family thinks she has an ulterior motive for marrying Harry. (Well...) In the same article, Meghan teases her and Harry's individual net worths and hints at the wedding budget - £22 million minimum overall cost and her dress budget is £375,000.
Harry debunks Meghan's PR about the prenup, saying no one asked for one and that William and Kate don't have one so they don't need one.

12/27/2017: Harry's interview with Barack Obama is finally released. He makes a "we're the family she never had" comment that sets the Markles off. Harry also bans blood diamonds from Meghan's jewelry and Meghan merches her lip gloss.
12/28/2017: Some poor media intern who listened to the Harry/Obama interview realizes that Harry invited the Obamas to the wedding. Meghan deals with more curtsey criticism. She deflects by announcing that she was shortlisted to be the new Bond Girl but she had to give the role up because of her relationship with the Harry. Meghan also merches the Soho House restaurant she and Harry had their first date.
12/29/2017: The royal family's engagement count for the year is released and Harry worked more than William and Kate. The Markles begin popping off about Harry's "we're the family she never had" comment.
12/30/2017: No new Meghan or Harkle stories.

hey frends!
just a lil update to say that i'll be moving soon, so over the next 2–3 weeks i'll be quite busy and won't be able to post a lot a lot (not that i usually post that much but i do try!)
now that many panel shows are wrapping up their seasons, it's not too much to keep up with the masterpost or anything, so i'll definitely keep that chugging, but gifs might be a little slow :') i have a few requests i'll work on, and it's fine to send those in; plus, i said i'd be making BIG gifsets for the recent taskmaster contestants and i'm definitely working on those! i wanna do a good job so taking my time :)

it's funny, i've been hearing a lot about blog competition and fighting for notes and monopolising panel show content blah blah in my inbox recently. (i only included one here but there's genuinely been quite a few just in the last couple of weeks.) i don't know what might be going on on other blogs or discords or whatever, and i honestly didn't even know these were still convos people are having; i kinda thought we all agreed that this site isn't as big as it used to be, notes aren't as plentiful as they used to be, but by golly we'll just keep on posting anyways. i don't know if there are edit tags for any panel shows but i don't use them; i just post content here for my current followers and if you guys like it then that's all i wanted to do. i don't care if there are other panel show blogs with more followers or posts that get more notes or better gifs or better blogs or whatever. it's all fine. i don't care. i don't think about it. so you don't have to ask me that stuff — how to grow your blog or get more followers or more engagement, or how i feel about other blogs that post the same content as i do — i won't answer it. just post it because you want to; don't race to be the first one to get stuff at (especially at the expense of making content you're proud of!); don't put other people down; don't send anonymous hate. just be cool and worry about you. if you can't have fun here without validation in the notes then you're gonna be miserable. flopping is integral to being active.
