Now it's my turn to grill you about twisted wonderland dating options

God... You had fun with this one didn't you ya devil /j
Though it pains my soul because I absolutely adore Himeru as a character I... I have to say Malleus. He's just... It's just like you said at the very least for now he's well mannered he shows he cares and cares deeply and yeah he's a bit awkward and doesn't really understand his own feelings well (and at the very least from some of his lines you can infer he's definetly lying to himself about some of them just to cope, at least imho) he doesn't really wear the same sort of mask Himeru constantly has to out on. I feel like while Malleus confusion about his own feelings might make it difficult to get closer to him he isn't actively putting up a wall (like himeru would do) and just by talking eventually he'd get used to it and would be able to express himself a bit more freely. Also he's chill I'd listen to him rant about gargoyles and grotesques and I'd accompany him to walk around decrepit and desolate ruins any day. We'll cross the bridges of "this means your royalty now" and "your life spans are wildly different how will you cope" when we get there... Probably.
*inhales*..... Okay the difficult one is now god you're evil. They're just... They're like different flavors of the same person god what am I going to do... (Also I love them both extremely how dare you make me chose). Okay so... After thinking a lot about this a lot (I got this ask while walking my dog about uh.... Two hours ago I've been thinking about it ever since), I think I have to say Vil. He might be a perfectionist but I feel like it's a lot more focused on himself unless his goal needs to include other people. Yes he's very strict but partially it's due to his responsibility as a house warden and I think that as long as he sees you're putting effort even if you don't reach the level he's at that's enough to kinda ease up on you and let some things slide. In the hand Shu's getting better but he still would be very much pushy about his ideas and he believes is perfect and if you don't reach a certain level I feel like he'll definetly jumo at you and I cannot deal with that. Also I feel Vil is a lot more outwardly affectionate and a lot more able to read other's emotional states and actually take it into account more than Shu has ever been unless they explode in his face. Also from a more "how would I survive this situation and get to a point where I can be more or less comfortable" point of view, I'm prone to crying even when I feel extreme levels of anger and I think Shu would need the raw power of dry anger to be able to drive a point home while I might be able to manipulate Vil into being nicer to me if I just end up crying in front of him sjdldjdosodkskd

Man, being a producer sure is hard, eh? But that's okay! You and your friend, Anzu, are such good buddies that you both share the same stress!
Anyway you both are outside sitting at a table trying to come up with new and nice outfits ideas, but the motivation isn't quite friendly Right now...
"Man, this is quite hard! I never thought that I'll be having trouble doing this.." you sighed. Anzu sighed back and nodded, softly slamming her head onto her notebook. "Hey, wanna take a break?" You started "I heard a café opened near by and they also have smoothies ~" you gently closed your own notebook.
"I'd love to! I'd really enjoy a smoothie right now~" Anzu replied as she put her notebook in her backpack.
You two then started to approach the school gates, talking about random shit when a sudden voice approached the both of you.
"Hey, wait for me!" A feminine, beautiful voice called. You turned and saw her.
When you first met her, you couldn't help but get butterflies in your stomach. She sure is beautiful looking, but why does your heart flutter so bad whenever you look at her? We're talking about Arashi Narukami here. Her blonde short hair swinging as she walks closer, her wonderful amethyst purple eyes shining just like the orbs everytime. She's just... Perfect!
"Ara, what are you two doing?~" the “fair maiden” smiled as she leaned closer to the both of you.
"Ah, Narukami-Senpai!- hello!" You greet her gently, pretty sure your face is the same colour as a rosy peach.
"We were going to a new café near by" Anzu replied with a soft smile
"Ara?~ that sounds nice!~ mind if I join?" Oh my, your face is now a stop sign...
"I don't mind" Anzu shrugged and then looked at you.
"N-neither I do!- you can come along if you'd like to, Narukami-Senpai!" You responded immediately, trying not to blush way more.
"Uwha!!~ I'm so happy ~~ Lead thd way!" Arashi giggled as she covered her cheeks, she looks so cute you'd just want to kiss the girl (if yk the song)

On the way to the café, you couldn't help but glance at her from time to time. Gosh, can she get even more Gorgeous?

Once there, you three glanced over to the menu. They had lots of options of coffee and 3 options of smoothies: Strawberry, Banana and Raspberries.
"I'm going to get the strawberry one" Anzu informed you two before she walked closer to the counter to order and pay.
You were still on thoughts when you heard a gasp. You quickly turned to look at Arashi, who seemed quite troubled.
"Is something wrong, Narukami-Senpai?" You gently gave her a worried look
"Ara~ I deeply apologize but I think I might had forgotten my wallet! I'm so sorry that you had to get me all the way here only for me to be a third wheel.." she sighed softly, sadden. Your heart aches from seeing her face do such expression.. you couldn't just let her be sad!
"Hey- no- it's fine, I can pay for your drink Narukami-Senpai ~" you confidently say. She gave you a small smile as if.. she planned this all along..
"Really? Oh ____-chan, you don't have to~" she chuckles softly, but you were quite determined...
"No no, it's fine! I do not mind~ Anyway I'll probably come here again and spend my money so~" you gave her a grin which she returned, giggling and ruffling softly your hair.
"Well if so, I'll get what you want~" she flashed you a smile, a very beautiful and gorgeous - ok stop. Focus ____, focus! You nodded before shortly after approaching the counter to order and pay.

Once getting the drinks, the 3 of you went to a study room the café had. An isolated room with good seats and also a board and some chalk where you can enjoy the drink and.. well.. study
Both of you and Anzu then took out your notebooks to try to continue your work. Arashi, upon seeing them and your faces of exhaustion, began:
"Ara, do you need some help with those?" She asked gently
"No thank you, but I will ask if so" Anzu replied as she started to continue sketching. I guess this place gave her inspiration.
But you still hadn't any.
How sad 💔
You signed to yourself as you tried to work, feeling shy to ask her for any help, focusing on your notebook and only it. Her hand slowly brushed against your back, rubbing it as she got closer to your face.
"Ara~ don't stress yourself like that! Here, let me help~" she said as she took a look at what you had so far. Your blood boiled on your cheeks as you felt a sudden flutter of heart in your chest.
"N-no, it's ok!- You don't have to-" you tried to argue but come on! It's Arashi, do you really think she'll give up on helping others?
"Nu uh!~ as the big sister Knight, I am devoted to help others in need!" She then gently grabbed your chin so you're looking directly into her eyes. "So please... Let Narukami Onee-chan help you, alright?~" she whispered gently as her beautiful and gorgeous purple amethyst eyes stared into yours.
It felt as if the world... Disappeared! And it's only the two of you floating around in space as her nose is touching yours, her breath softly hitting your lips. It is as if.. she's telling you it's ok to approach and meet her lips with yours. Her eyes are slightly closed yet half opened, smiling down at you with such a loving gaze~
You quickly nodded and turned your head away, who knows what would had happened if you two stayed any longer, eh? You looked at her from the corner of your eyes to see... Disappointment?
"No, no, no- she- she couldn't like me back, can she?" you thought.
You quickly brushed it off as you let her help you.

After what felt like forever, you finally finished sketching outfits ideas.
"Man, we finally finished ~" you sighed before taking a sip of your smoothie.
"Mhm.. I'll need to go now, see you later _____!" Anzu replied as she then got her stuff and left. She also finished her drink until then, I guess her mind is the only one that can work around here..
Now It's just you and her...
"Ara, the smoothie is so good~ you've got such a great taste _____-chan~" Arashi sighed with a satisfaction as she leaned her head onto your shoulder. You could feel your face heat up so much~
There was a beautiful silence until you decided to speak up, it couldn't be that bad right?
".. T-thank you, Narukami-Senpai" you quietly blunt out. She gave you a soft confused face.
"What for?" She replied with a chuckle.
"F-for the help-.. I really needed some advice to finally finish those sketches ~" you chuckled back. She smiled softly and nodded.
"You're welcome dear~"
The both of you then sat in silence, drinking the last few remaining sips from your plastic cups.

Once you two finished, you left the cafe together.
"Uwhaa~ I really enjoyed today~" she sighed softly as she looked at you. You smiled softly in response as the sun starts setting.
"Is it me or does she look... Much more gorgeous than ever? I feel like I fall more in love with her each every minute, second, per second..." you softly thought as you stared at the view, the view being her of course~
"You really acted like a gentleman today ~" she sighed once again.
"Hey, it's not your fault!... And, you don't have to pay me back by the way ~" you smiled softly as she looked at you with a.. quite mischievous smile..
"is that so?~" she replied as she stopped walking and turned to you
"Mhm, I insist!~" you replied quickly, feeling again determined. Both of you now just gaze into eachother's eyes once more. The same feeling of being the only ones floating in space begun for you once again, before she broke it by saying:
"Well~" she started and seemed to pull out something.. it was her wallet. "I was going to but if you say so~~" she giggled at your surprised expression before she walked away, leaving you there dumbfounded....
You decide whether you wanna forgive her or not, but I'd say that was a smooth move as a hint that she even liked you~

•❅───✧❅ Once Upon a fairy tale❅✧───❅•
Your living a very normal life being a producer of idols in ES. Your not anzu but you manage to get some good reputation among your batch of producers.
You handle not very known idol group and would glady help them out to be famous as it's their dream and your very close to them. Alas but the emperor have decided to put you to be the main Producer of another unit, called alkaloid.
Your ordinary life change so drastically when you meet a certain flaming red haired boy with charming and captivating blue eyes.
Who said some weird shit when you meet in the hallway.
"I think, your the person written in the book." He told his head. "What?" You wonder who is this oddball, this lost child. "Hmm, well it's a traditions in my hometown that each descendants of Amagi experience ( blah blah blah blah ) and will meet their--"
You look at your watch and realized that your going to be late!
"O! I'm very sorry! I'll be going now. Hopefully, you will find your way around, this place." You wave at him and says your goodbye, thinking it be the last time you see him.
Alas, it wasn't. As his one of the person you have to meet up and have to handle as a producer.
Hiiro Amagi -- that was the name of leader (he was put as a leader without them knowing) of Alkaloid. He was a very unique person, somehow odd with his beliefs as it's based on his village ideals of right and wrong. He often exclaim that he come to destroy idols, through you never taken it quite seriously and have a good laugh at it.
You thought at those moment: man, this unit seems normal with all the weirdo of idols in ES. I am pretty sure they'll become famous one day as oddballs tend to stand out from the rest.
And then think nothing much of them but idols under your batch. Alas. When you come home to your sweet, lovely comfort of your bed.
You wake up in another place. In a the beach and you hear someone singing.
"oh. Your awake! I thought you won't be awake anytime soon..." Before you is Hiiro Amagi... With a blue-white fish tail and haft naked, (with well tone muscle) upper body. As well bloody with a haft eaten fish beside him.
"ahm... What? Is this a dream?" You look at his fish tail and to the fish he just eat. " ....Is it not bad to eat fish, if your a fish person?" You question.
"Ah.... I don't know. Probably? " He tilt his head.
" Hopefully, it is not the case, Amagi." You also really wonder if it's a crime for fish people to do so. But what do fish people eat if not fish--
" Wait, wait before that. Where is this? This is not real, right? " You quickly return to the original topic.
"oh! It is!" He smile at your direction. You wonder if this nutcase is mentally there. "I told you that before right?" "Told me what? Is this the story about your going to tell me when I'm running late?" He nodded at your question.
" Sorry, I wasn't able to understand what you mean. Can you repeat it? " If this person wasn't a crazy person, you would have listen to his absurd words.
" One or two random descendants have a person called "Grimm tales Story companion" to experience "fairy tales"." He don't mind repeating what he said earlier, so he happily told you so as he flip his tail around to make water splash on your face, your shocked face of disbelief.
" Ehh... W...what? " Your mind went blank. Did you just hear him talk about fairy tales? " Don't tell me this is little mermaid... " You point at his fish tail. " Hmm! That's correct! If that's what you call this story in the city. " He still smiling as he move his fish tail around. "I felt dizzy.... I wonder ...why..." His vision slowly swirl as he felt hydrated.
"O-oh..." He then fainted on top of you, he have stayed too much out of the water. Now his a haft ded fish boy.
"My goodness!" You squeak in surprised but made sure to catch him. "Well, this is crazy..." You cannot believe this! "Oh my! I most put him back to the water, maybe he dread up!" You tried to move him, but his too slimy and fishy...
"Ackk... This is not how I imagine real life fairy tale is!" You mumble a curse under your breath, as you now dragging the heavy fish boy idol back to the sea. From the pain of your shoulders and muscle after doing such work. This is pretty real.
'wait, are we the main character??? Are we? Or are we not? He do have a red hair. But wrong tail color. ' You thought as you in the deep part that you can go too. 'oh goodness. I hope I am not the prince/princess charming of this story. I don't wanna marry a random Ariel! ' worries in your mind as you look at your merman companion who's finally gaining some color back after being a fish out of water, you did not notice gaze from afar.
In which a story began, once upon a fairy tale.

Since the opening event wasn't too long ago, I was a bit worried about the success of this event too.
I'm glad this event went as well as the last one. Thanks to the new members, Aoba-senpai and Harukawa ♪
Tsumugi: Fufu. I'm thankful for Anzu-chan's leadership and fortunate timing~
The concept of this café is that a girl wanders into the "world of the dead" and is served by dead waiters—
I was asked to serve as a "Magician of the Dead". Luckily, Sora-kun and I had some free time in our schedules.
It's a pity that only Natsume-kun couldn't join us because of his work.
I'm sure he wanted to be here. This morning, he said to me, "It's not Fair that you get to work with Wataru-niisan."
Sora: HaHa~♪ Didn't Shishou sneak into the café?
Tsumugi: Eh, really?!
Wataru: Yes, he made a brief appearance but had to leave because he was on the move.
Sora: When he saw Sora and Daishishou entertaining the guests, he praised them, saying, "You're doing a great Job" ♪
Tsumugi: Is that so? Jeez, I wish he would talk to me too.
Tomoya: I was nearby and suggested, "why don't we call Aoba-senpai over?"
But, since you seemed busy, I was rejected.
Tsumugi: Was that Natsume-kun trying to be considerate? Anyway, I'll call him later.
Mayoi: Chief, Anzu-san, I apologize for keeping you waiting so long...
Shinobu: Mayoi-dono, there is no need to worry, de gozaru.
I was curious to see what dish you'd create while having a pleasant chat with Anzu-dono!
Mayoi: To be the subject of conversation... I'm afraid I might disappoint expectations.
Shinobu: Ohh, it's your special omurice, de gozaru!
Anzu-dono's prediction came true, huh~ Well done ♪

Tsumugi: I asked Ritsu-kun to come up with a recipe for the Dead End Pie, and there's a bit leftover that I wanted to give to Anzu-chan.
Looks like they've already left... We have no choice but to eat them ourselves.
Tomoya: I see. I'll go get a knife and plates for everyone!
Tsumugi: Thank you very much. Hehe, Mashiro-kun is such a nice and thoughtful boy.
Shinobu: Speaking of thoughtfulness, Mayoi-dono really shone today, de gozaru.
Although your main role was behind the scenes, you occasionally came forward and engaged with the customers, right?
Mayoi: D-Did you see it?
That was, well, um, it seemed like there weren't enough servers, so... Uuu, how shameful.
Shinobu: It is nothing to be ashamed of. I, for one, am impressed by your growth, de gozaru.
Despite your fright, you seemed to enjoy interacting with them.
Mayoi: I was so focused on work that I didn't have time to spare, and I was only smiling half-heartedly...
But now that it's over, I feel like it was enjoyable, even the customer service...♪
Shinobu: Mhm. I thought it might be tough for someone shy, so I didn't bring it up, but... If I had known, I would have invited you to the summer events, de gozaru~

Yoooo I got another fic idea that I've been thinking about for awhile but finally today got it to sound a little more cohesive!
Kaiba and Anzu look very similar. Same color of blue for their eyes and similar reddish brown hair color. So I got it stuck in my head that it would be interesting if they were half siblings and just didn't know about it.
The idea on how they find out about it is that Mokuba is going to college for bioengineering of some sort. Basically trying to see if he can make a viable human body to put Noah in. Wanting to give him a second chance at life. There would be some kind of project where Mokuba needs to collect DNA samples and compare them to see genetic differences and stuff (I don't know much about how it works so I'm gonna look more into it).
He checking everything out and notices that Seto and Anzu are half siblings and freaks out. Maybe he gathered the DNA wrong but then check Seto's against his own and sees that they are half brothers as well. At that point he's sure he's doing something wrong so he collects samples again from Seto and Anzu. Again the results are showing the same.
Mokuba is panicking at this point. Trying to figure out what happened. He has no idea how to tell Seto and Anzu. That's such a big thing to drop on someone and he has no clue how Seto will react. The possibility of Seto still having a biological parent alive could be a good thing but Mokuba knows his brother and he would still probably just push everyone away. Also thinking about how the man you thought was your father isn't your biological father opens a can of worms I'm not sure how Seto would react too. He'd probably be angsty as fuck about it cause it's fucking Kaiba but it's definitely something I'd like to explore.
Also Anzu's reaction as well. I don't think she'd have as negative of a reaction as Seto but still would need time to process everything of course. It's not everyday that you find out someone that's been making your friend group's life difficult for years is your half brother. Then also how would that affect the relationship with her father? Would it change or get strained? Would she just not care and just wanna know the whole story? I just feel like there are so many things you can do with that dynamic as well.
I also think it would be hilarious if Anzu went into it and teased the crap out Seto and called him like 'Baby brother' or something cute.
But also I feel like this could play into Seto and Mokuba's family sending them off to the orphanage after their dad dies. Like their mom's family is completely out of the picture and it's the dad's side that sends them away after somehow finding out that Seto isn't blood related to them. Maybe just assuming their mom cheated when she had Mokuba too. There's also a lot that could go into that as well. I feel like this could be a very emotional story that would ultimately bring the brothers closer in the end. Depending on how I'd make it to you could possibly have another shot at a father figure in their life.
Just a big ball of angst, hurt and comfort and giving Seto even more daddy issues. He's been through enough but damn it's still fun putting your favorite characters through crazy hypotheticals! I'd love to hear what you guys think about it and maybe give me some pointers or ideas? Thank you ❤️

6. When did they realize they loved each other? ALRIGHT. alright. I actually have this one kind of planned out in advance. They did it at different points. Marik fell first without question, it was when he met face-to-face with Joey that it solidified fully. In my head, it absolutely goes: Joey: "(says some kind of incredibly lame pun, e.g. 'I just had to hit that thug on the head with my Duel Disk. I guess you could say I decked him, eh? Eh??)" -> Marik, internally: "Oh man he's so stupid I NEED him so bad." However it then sort of simultaneously both soured and got stronger when Joey broke free of his mind control. It's a kind of paradox; Marik is in love with Joey because he can't control him, but Marik absolutely hates Joey because he can't control him, but Joey isn't interesting when he's not fully himself, but Marik can't do anything with him when he isn't mind controlled. Complex! After the Battle City affair, I think Marik just sort of resigns himself to thinking, "OK, this was just kind of a weird crush I have on a guy who probably hates me now, so I guess I'll just have to cope with this alone until it goes away."
By contrast, I think Joey had kind of a weird relationship to it; he had kind of an attraction to "Namu" as a pretty and nice guy he met, but it was just sort of like. A flirtation. Minor problem. Still other fish in the sea and all that. After Joey figured out he was Marik, though, I think he repressed any and all romantic attraction down as far as possible, with the exception that some of the reason he was pissed originally was just being kind of mad he had that crush at first. Anyways Joey only realizes he's in love with Marik after Some Time (could be anywhere from a few months to years, depending on if he goes to visit Rishid sooner or later), a very awkward reunion, a week-long fight, getting eventually chewed out by Anzu in those "JOEY WHEELER WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU???" talks she likes to give out, stealing a car to go drive out in the middle of the desert to be alone for a minute, having the Moment of Realization and nearly crashing said stolen car in his panic. Woops!
8. What’s one way their personalities compliment one another? Oughghgh okay so. I think it's really interesting how their personalities are both so similar but so different. They're both very stubborn and pretty righteous, while simultaneously having a ton of old built-up guilt. However, they have a lot of differences too. Joey is hot-blooded and willing to pick a fight with just about anyone versus Marik being more of a "master manipulator" type that prefers to let other people settle the score. Joey also tends to be extroverted and makes friends pretty easily if he doesn't freak them out with how passionate he is about, well, everything, while Marik is um. A little stilted when it comes to social interactions (I am betting good money "Namu" usually got by on good looks and brainwashing people to vouch for him whenever that particular character got used). So all this is to say, I think they have potential to actually help each other out a lot when they work together - Marik keeps Joey from making rash decisions or helps him find smarter ways to get around problems, and Joey keeps Marik from getting too isolated and better at dealing with his own problems instead of letting Rishid and Ishizu fix them for him (again).
39. What other couple would your otp get along with the best? I'm going to be honest with you I don't know if this counts but if visionshipping also happens I think they would have a fascinating relationship. Like a sort of friendly rivalry/thematic parallels/less friendly rivalry on the part of mai/marik thing going on. The autistic teenage homosexuals have unionized against the socially awkward 20something lesbians. I think it would be really fun to see them in a double duel (nobody is allowed to use god cards.) Does that count?

8. What’s one way their personalities compliment one another? The irony of Atem being a literal ghost and yet significantly more down-to-Earth than Ryou is never lost on me. I think that most people outside of their relationship tend to dismiss Ryou as being very quiet and introverted, but he's just shy lol - once they're just around one another, Ryou is definitely the more energetic one that is absolutely having incredibly bad ideas, and Atem is going along with them because Ryou is his dear boyfriend and so can do no wrong and have no incredibly bad ideas. right? right???? (said while holding a knife as Ryou tries to figure out if you really can make cake out of ergot-infested wheat). Guy who gets into problems x guy who keeps on getting dragged into them. However I do think its good for Atem to relax a little sometimes lol
11. Which member is more physically affectionate? They are both touchstarved as Hell so they're significantly touchier than your average couple anyways but Hmm. maybe Atem? I feel like Atem goes with constant but minor physical affection (holding hands, casually leaning against him while playing games or watching movies, etc.) whereas Ryou doesn't go for physical affection a ton but when he does Watch Out. One time Atem had to go away for a tournament for like two weeks and when he got back Ryou pounced on him like Hobbes and rested his chin on top of his head with his arms wrapped around Atem like a clingy octopus for the next 24 hours. He Gets Lonely.
34. Do they give each other nicknames? this is a tough one. I feel like if we have a pre-Millennium World situation, then Ryou def had a nickname for Atem to try and differentiate him from Yugi- I'm not sure what it would be though. Incredibly tempted to say Mister Ghost/Mister Spirit just because Ryou is a Polite Young Man. I have a hard time picturing them using a ton of nicknames, but inside Atems head there are definitely five billion poetic epithets of courtly romance he uses for Ryou like:
Ryou: *picking dead lizard off the ground* Do you think reptiles taste like chicken because birds evolved from dinosaurs? Or do you think they taste like fish because their diets are closer and they absorb the taste of all the flies and worms they eat

Shu: You were about to go check to see how he was doing? But, it's already night time over there, you wouldn't be allowed at the dormitories at all, little girl**. Don't tell me, have you been working at the facility up until now?
Shu: He's been working in the prop room at ES because you suggested it...fumu. The work environment does affect the work quality, so your concern is appreciated. I'm planning to return in order to see Kagehira's "feature live" by any means necessary, but I'm so busy preparing an exhibit that I wouldn't be able to leave Paris until just before the performance. I didn't want to interrupt Kagehira, but it's still incredibly frustrating that I can only see glimpses of how things are going through you, little girl. --I hope he's not too uptight about needing to stand on the stage by himself...well, please take care and make sure you don't push to work until late at night. Also, if it's alright, I have a message for you.
Shu: --and so, I want you to go tell that to him. If you find that my words aren't needed, then you don't have to say anything. ...That's all I ask, little girl.
Mika: Nnnah! Who's there?!
Mika: I'm occupying this room by myself right now. Once you're done what you need to do then I'm gonna ask you to leave, sorr-- nn, is that you, Anzu-chan? You surprised me...~ I got scared because I thought someone I didn't know came in here. But enough about that, come take a look at this. The stuffed animal that I told you I'd stand on stage with, it's starting to come together now~ Thanks to you, Anzu-chan, I can use the prop room. I can spread everything out however I want, and it's nice and quiet in here so I can focus. Yeah...hm? You're worried that I can't see well in here? I think it's perfect. The lamp has a dim light, which makes me feel relaxed and more able to work. I can't see too well in the dark but...on the other hand, maybe it's because I can only see what's in front of me that I'm more focused than ever.
Mika: Like this. If I carefully use the needle and thread, I can keep sewing a lot more...Fufu, I'm happy that Anzu-chan can praise me for making a cute stuffed animal. I hope that you'll keep looking forward to the finished result, since I'll make sure that I sew it with care until the end. ...Eh, you want to take a photo of me sewing it? Ah, you want to use the picture for the "feature live" pamphlet? Since I left those things to Anzu-chan I forgot all about it in the end. Unn...the room is a mess. Mika: Unfufu, I'd say the stuffed animals are happy to hear that Anzu-chan thinks they're cute. On the day of the "feature live" let's do our best~ .......... Unnn, I'm sorry I suddenly got all quiet. I'm trying not to think about it while I work, but I can get nervous in a split second. I wonder how the live will turn out, and if I can even pull it off well.
Mika: Today, Naru-chan and Ritsu-kun. Ikkun, Yuu-kun, and even Oogami-kun all encouraged me. They all told me they were looking forward to everything, and told me to do my best. I wonder if I can meet their expectations. I was also hoping to see Oshi-san. Unnn, what would he even say. I wonder if I can make a stage that Oshi-san would recognize, be happy with, and praise it. Even just a little bit.
Mika: .......
Mika: Augh. I can't afford to back out now. On the day on the live, and even while I'm up on stage. I need to keep doing the best that I can--! Nn? Anzu-chan, what's wrong? You have something you want to tell me? I have an art form that only I can make, and you hope that I'll have confidence to devote myself to my work with pride...and it's the life that we put into each artwork and the stage that enraptures the audience and makes their hearts flutter--?
Mika: Ufufu, what's gotten to you all of a sudden? You're talking like Oshi-san, it's funny to hear you say it. Nn? What do you mean by "well, actually..."?! Nneh?! Was that a message from Oshi-san?! Wait, hang on a sec, what does that mean? He was worried that it would disrupt me if he told me, so Oshi-san told Anzu-chan to relay the message? Oh...what the hell...it's true that I've been keeping from making phone calls because I was scared that when I heard his voice I'd get too nervous and determined that'd I'd get overwhelmed and dizzy, but...but, now I'm really in a good mood.
Mika: Oshi-san probably trusted Anzu-chan with the message because he was positive I can do this. I'm going to shoo away my insecurities and only trust the words I've gotten from Oshi-san and everyone else! Anzu-chan, please look forward to it!
Mika: As an artist, and as an idol, I'm going to create a stage that nobody else can.

Kuro: I more or less get why ya called us out now, but… Can we really do somethin’ like wipin’ out the whole problem?
Hm? What’s wrong, Lil’ miss?
Huh, so you came up with a plan. That musta been a disaster for you too, Lil’ miss. Sorry that ya had to get caught up in this mess.
Eichi: Yes. You truly saved us here, Anzu-chan. I only asked you to think of one yesterday, so I wasn’t expecting you to have an entire proposal written out already.
Tetora: The proposal is calledーー “The Starpro Rhylink Friendship Strategy” ……? It’s a pretty fun sounding title, considering the circumstances ssu.
Tomoya: It says “I didn’t put much thought into the title” underneath it.
Eichi: Well, I don’t exactly care for the name of the plan as long as the contents are good. So? What does the plan say?
Tetora: Hmhm. So, you’re aimin’ for the world record by participatin’ in an endurance challenge using giant dominoes……?
Eichi: I see. So, you want to show teamwork by helping each other out while holding up dominoes.
Dominoes huh…. This is probably our best suggestion.
Tetora: Eh? Why’s that ssu?
Eichi: This isn’t a regular scheduled event, so we want to try to avoid a big budget. Also, things such as days and effort need to be limited as well.
From that point of view, I think the dominoes are our best angle at clearing things up while keeping the project affordable.
Tetora: If it’s about showin’ that Starpro and Rhylink are on good terms with each other, will everyone here be in charge of this stuff ssu?
Eichi: Well, possibly yes. I haven’t made any final decisions about the members yet, though.
Tetora: Uumyu. If we are, I’m not great at this kinda thing y’know?
It’s a problem for me if I can’t move much or haveta limit myself.
Kuro: I’m the same way. I’m no good at stuff like that.
Tetora: Eh? Really Taishou? I thought you’d be better at stuff like settin’ up dominoes though, since you sew and are pretty crafty and stuff.
Kuro: I don’t mind workin’ with my hands. It’s more of an issue of my body not bein’ suited to work with a limited amount of space.
I’d be afraid to even breathe while tryna avoid knockin’ over dominoes.
Eichi: I see. I don’t really have time to care about your preferences, though.
It’s important to have mishaps happen as well. If nothing like that happens, I’d just write a scenario into the script.
Tetora: Uu~… I know there’s no helpin’ it, but I don’t like that sorta thing. It doesn’t feel like it’s authentic ssu.
Eichi: If you don't think these things are a part of being an idol, you’ll never get used it. I don’t think you can call me evil for thinking this way, either. We’re just performing a script at the end of the day.
Tetora: That’s one way of puttin’ it~
Tomoya: Performing a script……

Eichi: Hm? What are you thinking, Mashiro-kun?
Tomoya: Ah. Ummm…… I don’t want to rain on your parade or anything since you seem settled on this idea though……
Eichi: Don’t worry about that. If you feel like you want to comment on something, I’d like you to say it.

Maybe it’s just because I’m a normal person, but I generally tend to believe things I see. That’s only if I don’t have any bias already, though.
Um. Basically. If I believed that Starpro and Rhylink didn’t get along with each other from the start, and then I suddenly got shown stuff about them being friendly with each other…
Wouldn’t that look super scripted? I don’t know the right way to say this, but…
Ah. Yeah, Anzu-san, that’s what I’m trying to say! Preconceived notions are getting in the way.
Eichi: So, what you’re saying is, it’s hard for people to believe the new depiction if they already believed something different to begin with.
Kuro: That’s true. I think there’s a good chance that some people would believe it, but there’d be a good portion of people who don’t. That might cause issues later.
Tetora: It’s like how us in Ryuuseitai were beaten by Crazy:B in the Idol Royale~
Most people tend to believe bad news more…… What was it called, that feeling?
Eichi: That is also a preconceived notion. Most people believe that bad news should stay hidden.
That’s why whenever you’re quick to say, “that’s wrong”, it makes you look more suspicious in the end.

Kuro: …… Yeah. But there’s this weird thing that happens. When ya get into a fist fight, ya start to recognize each other’s strength. It usually results in some kinda sense of respect for one another.
Sometimes, a weird bond gets developed after the fight’s over.
I just thought the situation was kinda similar to that. ‘s all.
Eichi: Hm……
Yes? You just thought of another idea, Anzu-chan? What a coincidence. So did I.
Kiryuu-kun’s story gave me a strange idea. If preconceived notions would get in the way, then we’ll just change it so that they don’t.
Tomoya: Eh? You can do something like that?
Eichi: Yes, it’s quite easy. So, we’ll go along with the idea that Starpro and Rhylink are on bad terms.
Tomoya: Ehhh!? Isn’t that against the whole point we were trying to make?
Eichi: Fufu. Earlier, you mentioned that people are susceptible to preconceived notions. But I believe they are even more susceptible to something else.
Tomoya: Huh?
Eichi: That is, drama, of course.
Tomoya: D-Drama…?
Tetora: Hmm? Anego, you’re changin’ the proposal ssu?

A random headcanon: Definitely has a dead beat dad. I know there was the one idea Takahashi had that dad was just gonna be off on some random ass island designing games, and it's not that I DON'T like that, but we didn't get it, SO. I personally go off of what I established in probably my favorite fic, "Luck Be a Lady." It's something I've kicked around writing for a while, but:
I started writing out a big ramble, but tl;dr: Sugoroku and Yumi have a very wild son, who didn't get a chance to sew his wild oats the way Dad did (Sugorku wasn't exactly being a responsible member of society as a gambling treasure hunter, let's be real). He ends up getting a college girlfriend pregnant, and never does stick around. He's in and out of Yugi's life for the first few years, and eventually just out. You also see this reflected a little in "Your Love Will Kill Me," with a stuffed Kuriboh being one of the last tokens Yugi has of his father (somewhat similar in EOSWOM as well). Just unfortunately a selfish, immature man. Sugoroku is well aware he failed as a father, and steps the hell up for Yugi.
General Opinion over said character: SO FUCKING UNDERAPPRECIATED! HE IS THE LIGHT AND THE HEART AND THE TRUE KING OF GAMES!
Listen. Initial few episodes I watched with Ink I was like, "I like the Pharaoh guy better," and they were like, "Yeah, a lot of people do," AND I WAS SO WRONG. I'M SO FUCKING SORRY. IT'S YUGI, IT'S ALWAYS BEEN YUGI.

I think Chiaki/Eichi, because I think they're one of the most interesting foils that is often ignored: both heroes, in completely different ways! Then again, I give Chiaki 1000 boyfriends, so, hm... So this will be the theme of my next batch: rare-ish pairs! Chiaki/Eichi, Madara/Shu, and Arashi/Anzu! -🐟
CHIAEI IS SOOO INTERESTING ACTUALLY !! its such a fun way to explore what heroes are and what makes a hero and idealism vs. realism vs. cynicism. plus also they had that #sickly kid bond from when they were kids. i dont know if i ship them necessarily but i would definitely read chiaei if it was written well enough. my brain also went "eichi who is always cold bc he's sick using chiaki as a personal space heater bc he runs hot" and now im considering it. chiaki deserves those 1000 boyfriends tbh he's a guy of all time

hii ! can i get a kin match up? your turn to die, genshin impact, and deltarune? ^^
- im usually shy and pretty quiet, sometimes i panic when there's too many people or when someone I don't know is talking to me. plus i can get easily overwhelmed and exhausted after socializing too much or school BUT i am usually open, talkative and playful around my friends! i just prefer hanging out with friends online rather than outdoors but i dont mind going outside from time to time if i feel better. i love to play games, watch anime, daydream, and talking to my friends! it gives me a major energy boost!
- i hate it when my friends come over to my house without any announcement since that makes me feel frustrated and anxious about everything. im also the type to accept an invitation then regret it afterwards. but i like paying for their food from time to time
- but im always worried how other people would think of me (especially friends) since im scared of disappointing them and tend to isolate myself when it gets rough or if my mind overpowered me and i overthink. plus i am really scared being in a group project because of people having epxectations on me doing my part well so i prefer solo unless it's a tough assignment. i also value good relationship between everyone around me and dont want to make things too awkward (unless they did smth bad). and i can usually tell when someone is distant or not in the mood, if they're my friend, I'd usually leave them alone, give them a hug, or ask what's wrong
- other than that, i like to meow and bark alot and biting my friends for fun. my friend told me im mature because how i talk and know things. i always try my best to be more understanding and comfort, but im pretty bad at comforting bc i have trouble with sympathy and empathy, and dont really know how to say thank you or apologize properly since im a lil awkward with that (+ being appreciated by other ppl)
- there are times where i would feel easily irritated and avoid my friends or anyonw bc i fear i might explode infront of them by accident! ^^; (just realized i mentioned friends multiple times hehdhe, i just love my friends)

Kanna Kizuchi
Firstly I thought of Kanna Kizuchi! She's more timid and shy, but she's also not afraid to speak her mind. She's very self conscious and looks down on herself and ends up caring a lot what others think of her. She tries her best to be helpful if she can be. She's different around her friends, mainly noticeable when she's around Shin Tsukimi. She's a little more childish. She tries her best to get alone with everyone.
Tia Safalin
Secondly I thought of Tia Safalin! She is absolutely more shy and quiet. She often stutters and can easily get overwhelmed in social situations. She prefers to stick to herself and know whats going on and when. So basically no unannounced arrivals. She doesn't like to disappoint others and often is found helping out the others in a small way. Even if she's not really on their side. Tries to remain more neutral from what I remember.
Anzu Kinashi
Lastly I thought of Anzu Kinashi! While she's more of the bubbly or airheaded type there's definitely still some resemblances. She's talkative and playful, though accidentally can say something rude without realizing. In stressful situations she's the complete opposite. Often shutting down and getting overwhelmed easily. She's somewhat insecure and can jump to conclusions if she thinks someones judging her. Needless to say she cares what others think of her. Of course she sometimes still has a nervous or anxious demeanor as well, she's not always bubbly. She tries her best to comfort people as well and get along with them.

Gorou
Firstly I thought of Gorou! Definitely more shy and quiet when he's around people he doesn't know and he can easily get intimidated or overwhelmed by others and it can also drain him sometimes. A prime example of this being with Yae Miko. He's definitely more talkative around friends though! Like with the traveler or Sagonomiya Kokomi. He's not fond of unexpected things happening, more like to plan ahead or have a schedule. He also holds himself to a higher standard, being a general and all, so he can also somewhat care about how others see him. He doesn't like letting people down either. If anyone's upset he'll try his best to help him, even if he might not be the best at it. He's also a dogboy so like. Bark.
Barbara
Secondly I thought of Barbara! She can be pretty shy at times despite working at the cathedral. Sometimes people will crowd her and she can feel pretty overwhelmed and drained afterwards. She really loves being around people she's close to though! When she's around the traveler she's usually pretty bubbly and outgoing. Or around friends in general. She doesn't like disappointing people and usually cares somewhat about how others perceive her. She doesn't like to hurt anyones feelings either and would rather stay on good terms with everyone if she can.
Sucrose
Lastly I thought of Sucrose! She's absolutely more shy and quiet. She panics in more social situations, tending to not go to them if she can help them or if she does usually isn't fond of them. Needless to say being around others drains her unless she's friends with them. Like with Albedo or the Traveler. She's self conscious about herself as well so I'm sure she cares somewhat about what others think of her.

Ralsei
Firstly I thought of Ralsei! They're generally pretty shy and quiet. Conversation with people he doesn't know or riskier situations seem to drain him or even cause him to panic a bit from what I remember? Absolutely adores his friends and is a little less shy and anxious around them! Always tries to help them when he can.
Noelle
Secondly I thought of Noelle! Like Ralsei she's more shy and quiet. She's rather kind towards other people and tries to help out her friends if she can. She seems to worry how other people think of her, especially Susie. She seems to get easily overwhelmed, too.
Kris
Lastly I thought of Kris! Literally does not speak, definition of introvert to be honest. He tries to support those around them and help them for the most part, but they seem like they can get under their skin sometimes too. Idk he was more of a last thought.

Korka would you be open to elaborate on the "prank gone wrong" angst potential for the Halloween event? I just have ideas but again, I'm busy and I cannot really develop then we'll but I want to make a mental note for it even if it's uh... Out of season skdldkdk
You focus on studying, don't worry!! Don't worry about ever being out of season, we can use carnevale, too. Besides, my theme is living doll mika all year long, we live by the horror and die by the horror here. And time is an illusion, also.
Now as for an elaboration. I really like the existential dread that would come with this.
Put yourself in Anzu's shoes for a second. Considering the Sakumas, Natsume, Wataru, Kanata and so on, I don't think she would find it entirely unrealistic for something like "zombies" to end up existing. Especially considering the explanation given by Eichi - very scientific and plausible. Parasites that kill the host and then "control" the host's body have been observed in deer, I believe, and it even made them cannibalise other deer. Or maybe it was a different animal. A bug? Unimportant, what I'm saying is - if you dress it in scientific terminology, it's more believeable. "A random virus in the air" isn't as believeable as "A faulty product contained a microorganism that multiplies quickly in the people who consumed said product, alters their brain and speeds up the decomposing process, makes them cannibalise other people, and is transmitted like a virus by saliva and blood". Of course I added my own details, but that's the spirit of it. On top of this, it seems that ES fell into disarray, there were zombies everywhere, and Anzu didn't really have much of a reason to not trust Eichi. What I'm saying is: there is no reason why Anzu would have suspected it was fake.
And what else made it more believeable is the ones who got bitten. I haven't yet compiled them all as I'd promised, but even if she were in denial - and as such not believing it - something like death is pretty much guaranteed to make her realise the "gravity of the situation". She can tell herself it's fake, until Kaoru tells her to stay away from him because he was bitten. Until Niki starts talking about how delicious she smells. Until Mika cries to her about how he doesn't want Shu to see him all rotten. Especially if these guys are good actors (and is it not true that a lot of them do also act?), she would likely be pretty gutted.
As Leo pointed out, she never lingers with the characters and the "open the doors going up the floors" format makes it look likee. She's always going from one door to the other, very likely trying to find the survivors - her friends. So door to door, hoping she'd find all her friends, and they'd all safely leave. And then every once in a while, happy to see a friend! Only to be told it's too late for them, and she has to leave them, likely to die in agony.
And here's where we get "prank gone wrong". Anzu strikes me as a very mentally strong person, and as a very compassionate person. Kaoru might be fine, considering he told her to stay away, but what about someone like Mika? Who outright (okay, maybe not outright since he used a euphemism) asks her to kill him so he'd avoid becoming a zombie? It's easy for her to assume that Mika fighting her off is just his survival instinct, fight or flight kicking in even if he wants her to kill him, as he'd said himself. And, well. What if she does kill him? She already has to carry the weight of having taken her friend's life, even if he did ask her to do so, even if it was an act of mercy, but then to find out it was a prank. That Mika was never "dying" in the first place. The majority of the angst is supposed to come both from her dealing with her friends dying and her killing a few herself, trying to convince herself it was the right thing to do because "zombified they wouldn't be themselves", only for it all turn out a prank. And now what? How does she deal with that? Could she?
