don’t get me wrong i love jason grace very much, he’s a doll, but i think the difference between how the camps reacted to the exchange of leaders was SO funny. i think it just goes to show that no matter how amazing other characters are, percy is just that guy

CJ never ceases to amaze and impress with their work, and this fic is no exception. I'm not normally one to read Leo/Nico, but I found I really enjoyed their dynamic in this fic, and the use of "sunshine" and "freckles" as nicknames for Will absolutely made me smile. Basically Nico and Leo live in Texas and Will works two jobs, and meets both Nico and Leo separately, and the two both start crushing on him. Shenanigans ensue. I adore this fic.

Reactions to Tsunami Stopper's Chapter 193
TL;DR - Elder Ho and Fist King talk about how this would become a legend. Cale talks about their next move but GED leaders could only sigh at him. Cale's companions look angry and unhappy with him. HD adds fuel to the flames.
Caleism in Central Plains
The first half of the chapter was from the perspective of Elder Ho and the Fist King. We get a third party narration of Cale stopping the tsunami and the people's reaction after Cale's success.
And then it took a strange turn. The two began discussing that what happened here was similar to legends, and that the events today would be passed down as legends for future generations... 😂
This is coming from two members of the Good Faction. But if you think about it, one of their faction's leaders, Jegal Mi Ryeo, is pretty much a Caleism believer already. I can already imagine Cale's legend becoming part of the bible of Caleism in the Central Plains... 🤣🤣🤣
Clueless Cale
The last half was about Cale being clueless to why everyone was reacting strangely to him. Or him being shocked, confused, and scared of them. 😂
Beacrox - Cale is shocked that Beacrox is looking at him with disapporoving eyes, or clicking his tongue.
CH - Cale is scared when he saw CH's vicious stare.
Sui - Cale is confused why Sui was really angry. Sui's angry face is when his face is devoid of emotion.
That part about Beacrox giving Cale a handkerchief to wipe his face was so cute. You see, Cale expected Beacrox to always have a white handkerchief. But the handkerchief Beacrox gave to Cale had the cute embroidery of a cat. 🥰Cale realized that Beacrox embroidered this for Hong... 😊
As for the GED leaders - HD, Jegal Mi Ryeo, and Sima Pyeong, they were also exasperated at Cale. After all that happened, Cale began talking about their next move as if what happened to him was not a big deal. 😑
HD - sighs in frustration
Jegal Mi Ryeo - continuously wipes her tears and mutters "Even at this moment-"
Sima Pyeong - looks deep in thought
Raon's group joined Cale's group and added to the chaos. Alberu could only sigh, questioning Cale if he really wanted to be a slacker with everything he had done. Eruhaben simply praised him for a good job done. Raon bragged about how the power of the WT was sealed in Jungwon's statue.
And then CJS noticed Cale's swollen eyes and asked if he had cried. Cale insisted that he was actually fine, but HD... 🤣🤣🤣 HD added fuel to the flames! 🤣🤣🤣
HD said that Cale's head almost exploded and things might have gone bad if Cale had messed up. Raon dropped the statue, and Cale was annoyed that HD said that in front of a kid. As for the others, they were all just silent, hahaha 😂
Cale tried to convince everyone that he was really fine, but it did not work. Cale, you're so gonna be scolded by your companions soon, hahaha 🤣🤣🤣 Chapter ended with Alberu muttering his catchphrase, "This is driving me crazy."
Ending Remarks
Today was a fun chapter. Next chapter will probably be them investigating the Blood Cult's city. I'm still amazed though, that we haven't gotten a new chapter title after 19 chapters.

A/N - Since I found no faceclaim name for Ivy, I’m making an OC called Raye McClaren. Enjoy!
FIRST DAY ON SET
“Today we’re here with the cast of Supernatural.” The reporter, Haley, announced with a smile. “We have Jensen Ackles, who plays Dean Winchester, Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and the newest addition, Raye McClaren as Ivonne Rainer. How are you guys feeling having completed season two?”
“Do you want my honest answer?” Raye asked with a smirk.
“Absolutely.”
“Like I wanna leave- just kidding.” She giggled after getting a shoulder punch from Jared. “Exhilarating, cause I went into this not knowing whether the fans would like Ivy or not because, you know, late addition, so on and so forth, but she got an amazing reaction.”
“You really worked for that role.” Jensen grinned, nudging Raye.
“Like she actually worked out.” Jared teased, patting her on the shoulder. “Tell ‘em.”
“So,” Raye chuckled, “I got on set around halfway through the filming of season one, and I’m with Diane, the costume executive, and I meet Kripke, and he takes one look at me and goes ‘well…’ Cause Ivy’s a badass, we’re meant to have a-”
“- badass figure.” Hayley and Raye finished together.
“Exactly. So I’m wonderin’ what’s goin’ on and then Kripke just comes out with ‘ok, you’re gonna give us some muscles before your season two debut.” Raye then made a comical expression, which made Jensen laugh. “He gave me six months. I said ‘No, Eric, give me four’. I was that eager to get lean. Yeah, so I buy every exercise equipment thing and new-fangled object because I need to jack up.”
“We were like- are you sure?” Jared cackled, slapping his knee. “Cause she wasn’t an avid exerciser.”
“Now she’s terrifying; she’s a full blown adrenaline junkie, benching insane amounts and doing pull ups like she’s breathing.” Jensen chuckled, hand on her knee. “But we’re proud of her.”
“She’s our adrenaline junkie.”
“I can imagine.” Haley giggled. “And apparently you weren’t actually about to audition for Supernatural, Raye. What changed your mind?”
Raye giggled, running a hand through her hair. “Well, I was actually going to audition for The Devil Wears Prada, which I realise now that I had no chance for if Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt are in it, but Jensen called me up one day and told me about his TV show Supernatural, which he was on with Jared and they were lookin’ for someone with my description to play a character called Ivonne Rainer.
“I’d known Jensen since I’d been his colleague in Dawson’s Creek in ‘03 as CJ’s eventual girlfriend and best friend Autumn and again his love interest Alyssa in Dark Angel, so I was hyped to be on another set with him. I told my agent, Carly, to book me an audition and I turned up in the wardrobe which I thought Ivy would wear. I felt so nervous, but thank the stars that before every audition I start method acting - I terrified the hell out of Carly - and I was already in the zone.”
“Think about it.” Jared smirked, gesturing and Jensen. “If he wasn’t here, she wouldn’t be.”
“Shut up.”
“It’s true and you know it.”
“I’ve got a big head about it.” Jensen winked.
“You two won’t let me live it down.” Raye shook her head with a soft smile. Jensen patted her knee, then took her hand.
“Raye and I had worked together a lot and our on screen chemistry was insane, so I had to get her on Supernatural. And after Dark Angel, of course she’s fit for Ivy, and I can’t see anyone who’d do a better job.”
“Aw, Jen.”
“You’re great at what you do. Don’t sell yourself short, y’hear?”
“Loud and clear.”
“So, guys, what was your favourite scene to film so far?” Hayley asked, smiling a bit at Jensen and Raye.
“These two have done too much talking, so I’ll start.” Jared grinned. “Uh, I’d say the play fight scene in Tall Tales. That one was particularly memorable because Jensen and I are just rolling around, Raye pushes us both off the bed- it’s just an amazing scene.” Jensen and Raye shared a knowing smirk, which caught Jared’s eye. “Uh, the look on their faces probably means they have a shared answer.”
“I think we do.” Raye smirked, and Jensen nodded.
“Wanna say it together?” He snickered.
“On three. One, two-“
“The sex scene.” They chorused, then giggled.
“It’s cause while Jen and I had kissing scenes before, we’d never had a sex scene.” Raye shrugged, looking over at Jensen. “It tested our calibre as actors in the moment.”
“Eric Kripke’s only instruction was go intense.” Jensen grinned, his hand sliding up to Raye’s mid-thigh. “And we had to stay as in sync as possible cause a lot of things could go wrong, but we managed to get through it.”
“The fans loved it too.”
“Oh, they went mad.”
“See, these two have something brewing in the fan base.” Jared smirked, nudging Raye. “The fans call ‘em Raysen.”
“But, sadly, there’s nothin’.”
“Yet.”
“Shut up.”

★~Happy Black History Month from the Hi Nay team!~★
We've commissioned an amazing Black artist, Riptide (who's asked not to be tagged), to do a piece for our lovely but still mysterious Elder, Mary-Anne Weekes, who was responsible for creating the "good" Foci.
Once part of Sauvard's inner circle, Mary-Anne at some point chose to counter the other Elders with the creation of her own Foci. As the only Black member of the Ordo, and the eldest daughter of a hotel tycoon, she was treated with disdain by some members and alienated by others.
However, Sauvard and those in his inner circle respected her intelligence and prowess with magic, and she had a lover in Claudette-Jean, or CJ.

Mary-Anne had a brother, whom she loved dearly, who offered to marry CJ for her so they could live together.
Her brother was eventually killed.
Her brother was represented by a bird, to match his flighty, free nature. She herself was represented by a fish, since she secretly always felt "out of water". And her love CJ was represented by a white lily, her favourite flower.
Mary-Anne's character was partly inspired by various pieces of information about Black Canadians living in Toronto in the late 19th century, early 20th century.
One of the figures that stood out was James Mink, who fled to Toronto from enslavement and became a millionaire, having owned a hotel and livery stable, who established the first transit systems in Toronto alongside his brother George. There's unfortunately a lot of misinformation about him and his family, since records on his life are sparse.
As a tribute to him and his daughter, we characterised Mary-Anne as the rich daughter of a hotel tycoon, her status respected by Sauvard and others.
While there was still a lot of prejudice in Toronto in the 1900s for Black Canadians (such as unions refusing trade jobs to Black workers), it had more opportunities for success for Black communities than other parts of North America.
With Mary-Anne Weekes, and another character - the elusive Journalist (who features in the Puppetmaster's Arc, and will play a big role in Act 3), a Black journalist active from the 1960s-1980s, I was able to delve deeper into Toronto's Black history and the kind of world these characters might have lived in. It's been fun and my brain is itching to write more about these two, hopefully in a way that's respectful, nuanced, and as historically accurate (or as close to it) as possible.

The dominance of M/M slash cannot be separated from misogyny. That's not to say you must write about women if that's not what you're interested in, that just produces bad results anyway. But you don't only love male characters and M/M ships in a vacuum. We're just more primed by everything in society to see men as people with interiority. And you can't blame female characters being underdeveloped and poorly written because there are so many underdeveloped poorly written male characters who have been turned into blorbos. Misogyny is systemic and it affects everything, including fandom and shipping.

I don't wear any regularly but I do wear it! I was trying to wear earrings more often but I haven't been doing that much the last couple months... I should really start again. My favorite piece of jewelry I own, besides the Bead, is a tourmaline ring my grandma left me in her will! Unfortunately all my rings are a little loose right now and I'm paranoid about losing them so I don't wear them much.

Oh boy, oh boy oh boy OH BOY!!!
Ch 13 dropped, it dropped on my forehead as if s ok someone just threw a slipper into my face (that's how powerful it is!!) AND YET AM STILL WIGGLING MY HANDS AND LEGS FROM EXCITEMENT!
So! The review! *take deep breath* When the ch started with Leonardo begin in bed and how you talked about him unable to Make it to breakfast nor lunch and even couldn't apologize? I knew he was feeling 'overwhelmed' since he can still feel the 'phantom pain' (i think they call it that) and feel the burden of not takin' care of the kids, his son CJ (yes in my heart CJ is leo's son).
How you talked about Leonardo's days in the apocalypse broke my heart easily; he had to do it since it's his duty, his job and multiple lifes are counting on him wither they like him, love him or hate him... They needed him.
And it breaks me because like school in weekend; when you're used to wake up early in half of the week, surely you'll wake up early with no alarm clock. (It had happened to me multiple times, you don't know).
And how he remembered mikey made something special for him, his brother f!mikey and CJ? Adds more guilt. Raphael begin the worried mother hen? More guilt added to Leonardo's guilt bank book.
Then someone came, thought it was future mikey but IT'S 3.0 SHELDON!! WHERE WERE YOU BUDDY?!?!
This gives me amount of happiness since we know Donnie - and probably future Donnie - are happy that his kid is back!
When Leonardo promises to join the meeting at 6 i was like " don't force yourself! You're tired!🥺 " but later on i thought that Leonardo maybe needed something to take his mind off and this meeting is what he needs.
Going to the kitchen, meeting little mikey always makes Leonardo happy so am happy the baby boy didn't get upset with him completely for messing the breakfast nor lunch, at least he's gonna eat... I felt at the end of the kitchen part that mikey knew Leonardo was overwhelmed and what he needed wasn't scolding but hug and care... And boy am i happy he had done that.
Fast forward to the lab, Donnie doing the YT intro which takes about 10 minutes before diving into the point of video/jk (come on, gotta bully him once before i move forward 🤣).
Then i see the spoiler part and be thankful and happy " if you were to make Leonardo hug someone first other then CJ i would've came knocking on your door/jk/jk "
The process of equipping the new arm reminded me of a person taking a needle for the first time in a long time, and Leonardo feeling the burn through his skin that almost made him bite his tongue was scary 😱 i do not want to imagine that!
The part where Donatello (future him) getting so excited and proud about past him made me happy! It's like he wanna shout " LOOK AT ME! YOUNGER ME! HE DID IT!! HE'S AMAZING!! " ahaha...
Then came the test, when Donnie asked him to move his fingers and hand i was like " bro just ask him to dance and make it short " then couldn't stop imagining NQK leo dancing fortnite style xD
Finally the 2nd gift came - and i thought Sheldon was one of them - LEONARDO CAN FEEL HIS RIGHT ARM?!?! TERV YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH I WANNA HUG YOU RIGHT NOW!! THIS MADE ME MORE HAPPY AND GIDDY FOR LEO!!!
And then it's dropped because FUCKING BIG MAMA!!! Terv, my amazing fluff/ comfort goddess, i love you and your fics and your art/p
But i hate big mama and battle nexus champion (in short BNC) to bits!! If i can i would bitch about big mama 24/7 and choose kraang over her!!
I even made this for her personally.
So i don't know if there can be comfort with that bitch! Am sorry terv, i hate her as much as i hate cockroaches.

So Much For Grabbing The Bottle
I finally got the chance to read So Much For Grabbing A Slice (and it is seriously AMAZING, please check it out if you haven't yet) and I couldn't get the idea of ITBOTB Blue running into CJ in a peepaw multiverse situation out of my head
CJ and Shelldon Neo are both from SMGS by @shiftdrawwing
"Hey, Mister Peanut! C'mere a minute, would ya?"
Blue tapped his foot on the ground, leaning on the couch in a way that he hoped came off as casual and did a good job of hiding how much this whole multiverse situation had him freaked out.
"Pardon?"
"Ahh, don't worry about it, timeline difference, I think. Must be weird, being older than all of us turtles."
"You'd be surprised what I've gotten used to."
Blue hummed with a frown, running his tongue over his back teeth.
"I bet I would. Ah, look, Casey-"
"It's CJ."
Blue raised an eyebrow, then shrugged.
"Alright, then, CJ. I'm sure this is weird coming from me- I mean, if you're actually as old as you look, I could probably be your kid."
"Is there a point to this?"
Blue chuckled, putting his hand up.
"Alright, alright, I'll cut to the chase. Look, I know you're not my Casey, and I know I'm not your Master Leonardo, and I hope I'm not crossing a line by saying this, but... I'm proud of you. I never imagined my boy could make it to your age. Seeing a version of him that has... I can't even imagine how strong you must be."
CJ blinked, not sure how to respond.
“Uh… thanks?”
"Ahh, I know, I know, I made it weird. But hey, really, I mean it. I'm proud of you. You look like you've been through about five different kinds of hell in wet socks, but here you are, still kicking. That's incredible, CJ. Even if it's just from me, you deserve to be told that, at least once."
CJ leaned on his cane, looking the turtle over.
“That, uh… thank you.”
Blue winked. “Anytime.”
“Which one is yours?”
“Hmm? Oh, you mean my Casey?”
CJ nodded.
Blue grinned and pointed.
“Mine’s the little highlighter over there trying to arm wrestle your Shelldon,” Blue cupped his hand around his mouth, calling out. “Doing great, champ! You got this- oof, no, no he doesn’t, that looked painful. Eh, he’ll be fine.”
“That explains a lot about you.”
“I’m choosing to take that as a compliment. …He’s a good kid. Strong kid. He’s better than I was at his age, that’s for sure.”
CJ fiddled with his cane, taking in the scene. The walking crayon box that was Blue’s Casey had already shaken it off and was begging Neo for another match.
“He seems happy.”
“I think he is. The past has been good to him, it’s nice to see him finally able to laugh, you know? Not looking over his shoulder all the time, not wondering which one of us he’ll have to bury next. He can finally just… live. I hope you get that, too. Aaaaanyways, that’s enough sappiness from ol Peepaw Blue-”
“Yeah, again, I’m older than you.”
Blue waved him off, getting to his feet with loud cracks and pops ringing out from his knees.
“He- hey, Casey! Hi!”
“Shush, you. Any-ways, I’ve hogged you long enough, I should go check up on my kids. Take care of yourself, okay?” He patted CJ’s shoulder with a wink and called behind him as he walked off. “And tell wet napkin me I said hi, yeah?”
“Wh- wet napkin?”
A near identical Leo (minus the stickers and dad robe but plus massive eyebags, a prosthetic arm and a tearstained mask) started rushing towards CJ with the speed of an apex predator.
“Oh, fucking Christ.”

It’s a warm, sultry summer night, but as CJ steps into her apartment, her phone vibrating insistently against her leg, the chill of the air conditioning makes the hair on the back of her neck stand up.

4. A Night to Watch
CJ should be working her way through a stack of briefing memos on the situation in Kazakhstan, but every time she flips open a new folder, her mind starts to wander.

Bex I did it. I wrote my first smut fic. It’s Mickey x Reader (obvi) and I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your advice the other day. It really helped me out a lot so thank you a whole bunch!!! - CJ <3
I ran to read it as soon as I got this ask! So obviously I gotta talk about it! So I love small details that communicate movement in fics, esp when establishing, so opening your fic with, "You sat on the couch, your fingers lightly tracing the ridges of the red solo cup in your hand as you listened to a drunken Randy babbling on about what movie to put into the VCR."
Was so fucking great. Starting strong is important and you deff did! Making the reader a Woodsboro survivor and a friend of Sid and Randy is a staple and a total classic, works here, and knowing what we know about Scream 2 and Mickey, makes this dynamic all the more interesting! Makes me think of how this would go down the line, you know? It gives intrigue! The pair of them interacting feels natural, I loved the line, “Yeah. Sidney’s got Derek and I’m sure he keeps her very distracted,”
Amazing.
The reader not being over the events of the first movie, solid! Love that kinda thing, esp when it leads into the reason for the smut! There are a million reasons to have sex and thus, a million reasons for smut to occur, and a distraction from grief, trauma and stress? Perfection. What better outlet than Mickey? What a good guy to help the reader out!
Okay, now we are at the goods, and I gotta say, the rushed nature of it hits hard. Also fucking in the bathroom at a party! Classic, even though I don't think I have written it myself yet, actually! Bathroom sex, yes, sex at a party, also yes, but sex in a bathroom AT a party? No! Shocker, I know. But future project, who knows.
I like the back and forth, love the development and as you know, I looove denial, and raw sex, condom? Who needs condoms?
I love some of your word choices here but let me focus on my fave moment of this whole thing. Mickey being a dick, denying her the whole time, fantastic, but when it gets to this moment,
“Please let me, please let me.” You began chanting those three words like a prayer and you felt his thrusts begin to stutter a little. You felt tears from the overstimulation begin to form in your eyes as you were all but sobbing and begging him to let you cum.
Okay. So. Wow, hot, very hot. As a person who reads almost exclusively denial based smut to get off, this is like top tier, this is what I am talking about! Something about the "please let me" over and over again is like stellar, a true standout.
So! I gotta say, for your first smut? Really fucking good job! Loved the ending too, very good point to finish off on, like you clearly got some skills, you keep on writing, keep on reading and no doubt you are gonna keep improving! I am excited to see what else you are going to do! Seriously dude, you got great bones and already some hot as fuck moments, I have no doubt if you stick with this you are going to only go up from here!

CHEMIST'S RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE OTHER MERCS !!
Below are how I imagine Chemist interacts with the other mercenaries, and how they spend time together. None of it is explicitly shippy, even Spy, but as a very enthusiastic multi-shipper I will 100% draw my oc kissing hot tf2 men and encourage everyone else to do the same. I am cringe but I am free.
Scout
He has a weird rivalry with Scout where he's endlessly fascinated by the man's ability to drink radioactive soda and not die, but will still call him an Elmer's-eating fucknut if Scout so much as breathes at him. It's a mutual thing and over time becomes less about malice and more of an inside joke. It's very common for competitions to start during work hours, leading to both of their performances skyrocketing.
Soldier
Soldier is his ride or die, it literally took two seconds for them to recognize the autism in each other and become inseparable. Chemist is a smart guy and generally holds the brain cell, but the second you put him next to Solly he loses any form of rational thought. They cause endless chaos. It's beautiful.
Pyro
Pyro and CJ are a force of chaos both on and off the battlefield. Pyro watched this nervous scrawny man walk into the base and went 'Hm. Yes. This is a friend.' Cooper sees them like a younger sibling, except he will under no circumstances be responsible in their presence. If left alone for too long these two will 100% destroy anything that can be burned or corroded. They both have their weird little destructive obsessions and egg each other on.
Demoman
CJ and Tav like to put their heads together to make horrifying objects. They're the type to get piss drunk together and invent a bomb that could end the fucking world. When they aren't giving the admin more grey hairs, their usual time together consists of testing hang-over solutions each morning to make a fix-all for those types of consequences. OH and they both watch soap operas. Together. They cry and gasp and talk to the screen like losers.
Heavy
Heavy and Chemist get along well, both commonly in the infirmary. They both enjoy literature, and Heavy's quiet, calm nature goes well with Chemist's nerves and habit of info-dumping. They aren't the closest, but CJ thinks very highly of him and Misha enjoys their talks, often seeking out Chem just to get into a debate over symbolism in books they both have read.
Engineer
Engie amazes Chemist. The man has 11 PhDs! That's damn impressive! His machines are so intricate, and the Gunslinger is a genius idea in his opinion. Plus, he reminds CJ of his gran, with his kind words and bomb-ass food. It's hard to feel alone in the world when a sweet little southern man is offering you some mild alcohol and an ear.
Sniper
CJ actively dislikes being around sniper because of his disinterest in hygiene practices. They have a few things in common, however, in that they both suffer from social anxiety, and that their parental figures don't support their job choices. They often bond over this, but from a comfortable distance.
Medic
Chemist relies heavily on Medic. He's terrified of how lax the man is with safety rules, but his medications and healing beam can help dull his symptoms. It makes life much easier, and for that, CJ is endlessly thankful for Dr. Ludwig. Besides that, they also feed off each other's mad scientist energy, and Medic has been working to find the cause of his issues since the moment Cooper joined. The doctor is well aware most of the symptoms are commonly caused by stress, but some of them are quite strange in their own ways, so he is happy to experiment.
Spy
Cooper is very weird about Spy. The team has no idea if it's a crush or just admiration, but Chemist often strives to gain Spy's approval, praise, and attention. They can be seen together frequently because if Spy appears somewhere it doesn't take long for CJ to seek him out. They can be seen playing chess together, talking(gossiping) in French, and on the battlefield, they always have each other's backs. Despite this, if asked, Spy will deny that they are anything more than acquaintances, and Chemist will simply dodge any questions related to the topic with visible discomfort.
