@femslashfeb Week 2 Beverly Crusher/ Kathryn Janeway I was just going to write drabbles this week but then my hand slipped 🤷‍♀️. This is a long one so first one's free, but you'll have to go to AO3 to read the rest!

Grey

"I like it,” Beverly said, fingering the grey streak in Kathryn’s hair. “It makes you look distinguished.”

Kathryn wrinkled her nose. “It makes me look old,” she complained.

Beverly leaned back in her chair and her hand moved to tangle self-consciously in her own, mostly grey hair. “Oh?” she asked pointedly, eyes narrowing.

Kathryn realized her error and immediately leaned over the table to counter Beverly’s position. She pried Beverly’s hand from her hair and threaded their fingers together. “Not on you," she insisted as she leaned in even closer, allowing Beverly a better view down the neckline of her emerald green dress. "On you it looks sexy.”

"Hmmph,” Beverly scoffed but she did not move away. “Prove it.”

Kathryn stood and walked around the table, leaving her half-finished coffee behind and never once letting go of Beverly’s hand. She paused next to her shoulder and leaned down so that her lips were only a breath away from Beverly’s ear. “Oh, I intend to,” she purred and then continued to walk towards the exit, dragging a helpless Beverly behind her by their entwined fingers.

In my mind... (and no one can tell me otherwise!)

Larice moved to Chaltok IV while Picard stayed on earth to be close to Jack as he joined Star Fleet Academy. Beverly, as we know, is heading Star Fleet Medical, which is on earth as well. They (all three) quickly became a family unit, and by the time we see them in the shuttle, they are back together.

I mean LOOK at the way they looks at each other!!
