this is so disgusting. this is EXACTLY what muslim women experience in the muslim community. they lie that “hijab is a choice!!!” but from the age of 6 we’re told if we dont wear it, we’re going to hell. some of us are downright forced by our family, community, husband, etc. if we CHOOSE not to wear it & to dress how we like, or even worse if we CHOOSE to take it off.. we’re harassed & threatened with hell & sometimes even killed for “honour”.
enough with the lies that western muslims pander. the hijab is not a choice. we’re taught from a young age that its an obligation that we’ll be punished for if we don’t follow it. that’s not a free choice. most hijabis are women who have been pressured or downright forced to wear the hijab & most non-hijabis experience constant harassment & shaming. this is not what a choice is.
