Marco the phoenix x fem reader the loves to read books with him...
Marco with a S/O who loves to read books with him
Firstly, Marco works quite frequently, so he doesn't always have time to spend with you. So your time together is usually spent reading separate books.
Marco usually reads medical journals, and books related to his field.
You end up reading a lot of it as well, but only when you finish whatever book you were reading.
You also end up reading whatever is in the ship's library, which is composed entirely of technical texts, and anything useful to know on a ship. Pops insists that there isn't too much in the way of fantasy available, if you want entertainment, go play with your brothers.
Anyway, it isn't uncommon for crew members to find you leaning against Marco's leg, reading a book, as he works at his desk in the infirmary.
Or you curled up somewhere in the infirmary, while he's working.
Marco can't decide if his favorite place to read with you is in a grass meadow on an island at sunset, or rainy evenings in his cabin with you cuddled up on his chest.
Marco will absentmindedly rub your back or head as he reads. It relaxes both of you.
The crew won't admit it, but finding the two of you curled up like cats, is the cutest thing in the world to them. Many of them get jealous, so they start either joining the two of you, or getting someone else to cuddle with.
It eventually becomes a crew pastime to spend time with a cuddle buddy.
But back to you and Marco
Finally getting to snuggle up together is the highlight of both of your day.
When you are on winter Island Marco will sit ion your lap, in his bird form, and read whatever you are reading.
and on summer islands, where it's often too hot to cuddle, he'll be only an arm's length away
I Got my mount!!! Thank you so much Mokron for all your help!!! I’m not the best but I try and I’m glad I’m okay enough to get this far. Now I try for slime cat.

To have failed in killing Shinichi Kudo . . . he's made a huge oversight.
My video for SLICE (Short Little Iron Chef Edits), at BentoVid! The goal was to create at least a 90-second AMV within 100 hours, using a song from a list of songs only revealed at the start of the challenge. Given my slow editing, I can't believe I did it, but I did!
The song can be found here, and my video is also available on YouTube here, in full 1080p and with subtitles that can be toggled on and off.
