So, basically I was inspired to convert this hairstyle after I had seen this and this request post on Tumblr. To be honest, I was surprised that these hairstyles hadn't been converted yet? And because, well, I've always loved that one particular hairstyle with headbands from TS3 Late Night and thought, well, it'd look cute in TS2, too! I thought... well why not give it a try? So, I attempted to convert that hairstyle (my first 3t2 hair conversion, btw?), and suddenly... I managed to make it all work? Yayy! :D

It's availble for females of all ages (toddler to elder). Comes in all 6 Simgaroop Textures (Maxis Match!). Binned/grey linked to black. Should be available for all clothing categories? All recolors share one family - so, sims will keep their hairstyles if they age/dye hair color.

To install, just place the mesh file and the recolors into your Downloads folder as usual! If you wish to re-texture this mesh, feel free to do so! I'd love to see your creations, so please tag me. Also, you may also include my meshes in your recolors. Though, please give credit when uploading and do not upload to paysites! Hi, pmg. Sorry to hear about your uni project, these people have no respect for the students! I get furious just remembering some of the absurd things they would do back in my college days. When you have the time, would you mind if I make a request? I have this conversion by Julie J, the 3t2 Short Surf m hair, but to me the textures she used (nouk's) lack depth for this hairstyle, and since most of my defaults and cc hair are in your colors, I thought I'd ask you. And hope everything works out!

(2) Oh I hit the character limit and I should probably send you the link to the hair, in case you can do this, because I myself had a hard time finding it again on google. Hello, I never tried to make 3to2 conversion and haven’t software for it. Almost all interesting to me meshes was created for ts4 and Sims 4 Studio seems more usable than sims3pe.

hey, i noticed that there's a bald spot on your 3to2 pulled back hair. is there any way that you'd be able to fix it? (it's not something that needs to be done right away or asap and i'm not going to be one of those people who's demanding about something.) other than that, the hair as well as the hair texture look really nice.

hey. tbh i no longer play or make cc for the sims 2. i’m also on a new computer where i have neither sims 2 nor milkshape (3d software i used) installed. in the meantime perhaps a conversion of the same mesh by rented-space would work for you better? [link] (also if the mesh has the same mapping you could easily copy and paste my retexture on to it)

Hi! I've discovered your tumblr not so long ago and I love it, your work is brilliant and I love making my sims wear your conversions. It even gave me the want to start converting and so far I find it so fun! I wanna start converting ts4 hairs to ts2 but I didn't find any tutorials and trying the ts3 conversion technique was a fail! Do you know a tutorial that could help me, please? Or would you be willing to help me if I came off anon? If you can't, I'll completely undersand! Thanks! Stay Cool!

Heya! First off, awesome to hear that you like my uploads, and even more awesome that it inspired you to convert stuff yourself!

I couldn’t really tell you what the best tutorials are for converting hairs, since I’ve never actually used a tutorial to do that myself. The only one I use is Mel’s 3to2 clothing tutorial, but converting hairs is much easier that converting clothes, imo.

Converting hairs from TS4 or TS3 shouldn’t be very different, so if you’ve got a good tutorial on converting hairs 3to2, I’m sure we could make your 4to2 conversions work! Even if you don’t have a good tutorial, I’m positive we could work it out, tbh.

So yeah, please, come off anon, instant message me, and show me what you got!
