Daily Forza Car #6: The Singular Kia
Yeah it's... it's a Kia today. BUT THIS AIN'T YOUR MOM'S KIA.
Tumblr media
KIA STINGER, BABY. The first actually sporty car from the budget of budget car brands, and holy shit is it something else. This car is the first one I'll point to as a "guilty pleasure," if only because of that branding, even today with them trying (and honestly failing) to try and become a higher class brand. For some reason. At least they had a nice redesign of the logo.
Tumblr media
But enough shittalking the brand, how's the car? Well, to start with the looks, it's pretty standard for a 2010's Kia. Hell, you could reasonably get it confused with a K500 or a Rio. But, that's part of the allure of it. The rather basic appearance, mixed with the whitest brand to come from Korea, and you a genuine modern sleeper.
Tumblr media
Sleeper is absolutely the best word to describe this car, too. It's got a lot more horsepower than you would ever expect from one of these cars, putting out just over 350hp and giving it a ~5 second 0-60 time. Add on a handling platform that lets you put that power down properly, and you've got the underdog smash hit that is the Stinger GT. If there's anything I can give Kia shit for on this car (aside from the looks), it would be the fact that they never made it into a touring car of any sort. It did well at every track it hit up, so why not take it racing and break out into that world too?
please bring it back to mexico

36 Sports Cruiser, 36 Tournament Fisherman, 360 Commander
Model years: 1973 - 1986
Serial numbers: CCHMG,  CCFMG and CCHDA
Number of hulls built: Estimate 300
Length x Beam: 36' X 13'Draft / Weight: 36" / 22,600 lbs
Built for many years, both in Florida and Michigan.  In the early years the boat had 1-3/8" running gear. In 1981, the running gear was up-graded to 1-1/2" for gas and 1-3/4" for diesel.  Major bridge redesign in 1984.  A longtime favorite with fishermen and cruisers alike, the Chris Craft 36 Commander (called the 36 Sports Cruiser in 1973–77; 36 Commander in 1978–80; 360 Commander in 1981–86) enjoyed an unusually long production run, a rarity for Chris Craft boats of her era. (Indeed, well-maintained models retained their popularity on the used market for years after the last unit was built.) Introduced in 1973, she came standard with a two-stateroom, galley-up interior until 1984 when a more expansive single-stateroom floorplan with a dinette became standard (a queen bed option was available in the stateroom). Note that most 360s were sold with lower helms. Construction is solid fiberglass, and her low-deadrise hull generates good lift but produces a stiff ride in a chop. The original profile of the Chris Craft 36 remained pretty much the same until 1985 when the deckhouse and flybridge were restyled for a more rakish appearance. An increase in fuel capacity to 400 gallons in 1983 improved the range considerably. Standard 350hp gas engines cruise at 18 knots (mid 20s top). Cat 300hp (or 320hp Cummins) diesels bring the cruising speed up to 22 knots (26–27 knots top).

Not really SotO spoilers, because it's just pertaining to one new relic
but it is with great pleasure that I can say, Relic of Nayos? 0 internal cooldown, 350hp heal. You ever get hit with 20 stacks of poison from a boss and shrug it off instantly AND heal on top of it? The new area they added is swamped with condi damage enemies, sure would be a shame if I had a build that just eats condis and heals
I have been playing with this relic for about 3 hours now, and I have died exactly once and that was to fall damage.

5 Of The Best Australian Muscle Cars Ever Built
While American muscle cars usually command the spotlight in terms of V8 vehicles, Australia also has its fair share of classics. We will delve into five of these classic vehicles which have stood the test of time. All of these vehicles are being shortlisted from a balance of collectability, performance, and general reputation.
1. Holden Monaro
The Holden Monaro is a legendary nameplate in the world of Australian muscle cars. Originally introduced in 1968, the Monaro quickly gained a reputation for its sleek design and formidable performance on the road and the racetrack. With powerful V8 engines under the hood and a timeless coupe silhouette, the Monaro captured the hearts of car enthusiasts across generations. Its iconic status was cemented with the release of modern iterations, including the Monaro VZ and the limited-edition Monaro CV8-Z.
2. Ford Falcon GT
The Ford Falcon GT is possibly the first Australian muscle car, depending on who you ask. The initial XR GT performance version housed a 4.7-liter, 289 ci V8 engine, with 68 and 71 eras having a 5.8-liter, 351 Cleveland V8 producing 300-350hp. The first Aussie-made version was the 1972 XA Falcon which came as a two-door coupe, with a top speed of 142 mph and a 0-60 time of 6.4 seconds. Over the years, the Falcon GT has evolved to become a symbol of Australian performance engineering, with each new generation pushing the boundaries of power and innovation. Models like the Falcon GT-HO Phase III have achieved legendary status among collectors and enthusiasts, Adding to the Falcon GT’s status.
3. Chrysler Valiant Charger
The Chrysler Valiant Charger was based on the Dodge Dart and Plymouth Valiant, but entirely Australian-made. With its long hood, short deck, and aggressive styling cues, the Valiant Charger stood out from the crowd and became a symbol of rebellion and freedom on the open road. Standout versions include the RT model with a 4.3-liter, 265 ci Hemi 6, producing 302 hp, with a 0 to 60 time of 6 seconds. For those wanting more luxury, the Charger 770 SE came with a 5.6-liter, 340-ci V8 and 275hp, Today, well-preserved Charger models are highly sought after by collectors, with the early 70s models being the most desirable.
4. HSV GTSR W1
Developed by Holden Special Vehicles (HSV), the HSV GTSR W1 is a limited-edition super sedan that pays homage to the classic muscle cars of yesteryear while incorporating the latest in automotive technology. With a supercharged V8 engine producing over 600 horsepower, advanced aerodynamics, and track-tuned suspension, the GTSR W1 is capable of tearing up the track with ease. Its aggressive styling and menacing presence make it an instant classic, destined to be remembered as one of the greatest Australian muscle cars.
5. Holden Sandman
American Australia had similar problems in the early 1970s. Huge distances to cover, while needing a vehicle to haul a decent amount of daily items. America solved a problem with the Chevrolet El Camino and the Ford Ranchero, while Australia came up with the ‘Ute.’ A regular muscle car upfront with a van at the back. The top version of the Sandman came with a 5.0-liter 308 engine, with a top speed of 125 mph. Standout features include the radial tuned suspension – leaf springs in the rear, coil springs for the front wheels to address the radial tires.

GT86 with a tuned EZ36 making a bit over 350hp.
OEM GR86 dampers, good brakes and tyres.
i think this would be the funnest daily driver you could build for pretty cheap, basically a front engined GT3 with a lot less weight and a lot less chassis rigidity.
