Meet Mira! This stunning girl was surrendered to us along with her 4 sweet kittens. She is incredibly social, easy-going and just the most wonderful mama cat. She's very affectionate and just adores everyone she meets. She doesn't mind being picked up and so far has proven to be quite a gentle soul. Whoever adopts this stunning mama will be incredibly lucky - she's a fabulous cat! This little family truly has a special bond - they are always napping in a pile, and love to be near one another. We would love to see Mira adopted into a family with one of her kittens - she loves them all and they get along together so well. She's very patient, affectionate, and playful with the.

Originally released in 2011 on Bubblegum Records, "New Youth Bible" by Edinburgh School for the Deaf (from...Edinburgh, Scotland) are a delightfully hard band to pinpoint. All of this is quite good - but the influences move from The Jesus and Mary Chain to The Clean. In between, you can hear The Delgados, Snapper, Galaxie 500, and The Velvet Underground.

And yes, this album is that good. Absolutely Kosher chose it as one of its first releases on their recently resurrected label. Another release was the equally surprising, career-spanning compilation from French based band Brabrabra. Absolutely Kosher is now based in Emeryville, California (right next to Oakland) and is a welcome addition to an ever expanding Bay Area scene.
