Day 4 of the of the unhinged 30 days of otherkin challenge!

Q: if your kintype suddenly opened their eyes, what would they be looking at?

Cat: a huge willow tree, has small vines climbing towards the sun that's filtering through the leaves of the forest around me. A small stone path, taken over by nature forms a circle around the tree, while giving it space. The forest clears for the tree, without exposing it to the outside world, except for the top.

Dragon: a rocky cliffside overshadowing a fade from plains to forest. The trees sway strongly in the wind and the plains are filled with various creatures including horses. The rocks below me get wet from the rushing water from the waterfall near me.

Hey everybody! I wanted to try out this challenge by @/obligatorycoffee! The challenge says to use your main theriotype but I don't know which to choose!! So I chose my bird theriotype cause there are less of us :) especially seagulls

1. what type of dirt would your kintype eat?

My theriotype would eat the wet sand along beaches cause they're looking for clams, though I feel like the most tasty dirt would be in a grassy rain soaked field

Unhinged 30 days of Otherkin challenge — Day 11

What's the most specific or unusual shift (if you experience them) you've experienced?

It's hard to tell when I'm experiencing a shift because my Fey nature in particular kind of permeates my whole being while my Unicorn nature is a little more subtle and I'm still trying to find all the things that are connected to it.

One Unicorn thing (TM) is that I've always felt like there should be something on my forehead. I'm drawn to artsy makeup where one paints things like stars on one's forehead, or perhaps jewellery that touches the forehead, etc. and I've always loved to draw characters with things on their foreheads, like there is something missing there in my body and I'm trying to fill that space. I've also found myself walking on my tippy-toes when I'm feeling particularly beastly, so there's that, but it's not uniquely a shifty thing.

I don't think I have Fairy shifts whatsoever to be honest, I'm always in kind of a Fey state. But sometimes I crave milk, honey, fruit, and other decadent little things in a distinctly Fey way, it's like a sort of otherworldly hunger that I don't feel in my body and is different from my normal cravings (but maybe I just have a deficiency, who knows dkjhfjghkdfh).

4. if your kintype suddenly opened their eyes, what would they be looking at?

This has been a difficult question for me to interpret and respond to.

My angel bodies – specifically my seraph, cherub, and ophan bodies – are not three dimensional. In fact, I don't think they inhabit n-space where n is a real positive number. I hypothesize they inhabit a ludicrously big (infinitely) numbered i-space, but (in this human form) I don't have the mathematical background to start to fathom what that could mean. (edit: I remembered it means the dimensions would be perpendicular to these dimensions, which sounds right. There's a lot of other Strangeness in the not-realspace too.)

My ophan forms perceive wavelengths and vibrations most acutely and have the most “eyes”.

If I were looking, as an ophan, with all my “eyes” [sensory organs] “open” [active] (something that was forbidden to me on pain of torture before I fled my cosmic horror origin story “Heaven” – because if I opened them, I might see myself), I would perceive the multiverse both within and without my “wheels” [concentric energy centres], with n-dimensional spaces (with n being a real positive number) being viewable to me from all angles, by rough analogy as if they were all flat or flatter than flat (like a line or a point).

I would perceive n-time (with the same constraints as before) as a physical dimension as well. 3+1D histories would seem both complete and traversable, though traversing them would change them along an axis of time that I do experience.

I'd be able to see physical incarnations of mine like this one. Other manifestations of my pattern throughout time and space. Some of them humans from Earth, some of them with claws and horns and wings from Heavens and Hells with more “observable universe”-like dimensional specifications. I'd want to be proud of myself.

The real dry stuff that's almost like sand. Clay has too wet of a texture but sand-like dirt has the crunch. Bonus points if there's rocks in there for added crunch.

First three days of unhinged 30 days of otherkin challenge! (For my cat kintype)

Day 1: what type of dirt would your kintype eat?

Forest dirt, sand, pebbles and red clay.

Day 2: warm or cold ocean water?

Warm ocean!

Day 3: describe a pie made from three ingredients your kintype would eat, crust included, go.

Crust would be made of ground up pretzels and crackers. Filling for a meat pie would be made of cut up peices of fish, red meat and chicken. A dessert pie would have the same crust, but be filled with various berries from around the forest.

For my white tern theriotype, probably with the open ocean hunting for food or in a tree just hanging out.

For my harbor seal theriotype maybe a glacier or nice beach to rest on before going back to the water.

For my dhole theriotype probably a steppe with lots of shrubs and dead grass.

Day 19: Do other people notice your similarity to a character or species?

I don't think so, but i really like making myself similar to them, i'm always talking about how certain characters are like me (my kintypes) and use their image as profile pictures or stickers, stuff like that. I don't think they find myself similar on their own but i try to make them see me that way hehe.

Is being non-human spiritual for you?

Yes and no? So, my dragon kintype is a past life, and I believe my harpy kintype is as well, but the others I think might be psychological kintypes? It's very hard for me to tell.
