The best addition to Cyberpunk 2077 in the 2.0 Update is, hands down, changing the skip dialogue button from the crouch button to left on the d-pad.

If I had a euro for every time I intended to crouch and instead skipped some piece of dialogue, I'd have a lot of bloody money.

CYBERPUNK HITS A HOT STREAK!

Although its much awaited and strongly reviewed Phantom Liberty expansion is now available, this one goes out to the player-count ahead of its launch!

Last Thursday 21st September saw the 2.0 update for Cyberpunk 2077 rolled out to us, and it's effect on the player count according to Steam was HUGE! Just 18,024 gamers were playing Cyberpunk at 8pm on the 20th, but that number spiked to 90,241 post-update the following day, and hit heights of 169,711 on the 24th!

With those aforementioned review scores for Phantom Liberty being very impressive, it's a pretty solid bet that the player count will continue to rise! Will it ever be enough to forget the turbulent launch of Cyberpunk 2077 in December 2020? Perhaps not... But CD Projekt Red's dedication to put right their wrongs must be applauded!

Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update spoilers

They were not kidding when they said this update makes it feel like a totally different game. It's lost some of the cartoony feel. idk how to explain it, but everything feels more solid and the immersion is heightened. Speaking of. V no longer feels like they're half sunk in the ground while walking around. I'm not loving the way cyberware causes your body to move differently. The charged jump is way shorter if you're loaded up on chrome :"(

The cars feel AMAZING to drive. Well, in comparison to how they were before. Much more realistic handling, sound, etc. Forza or Gran Turismo it is not, but they feel less arcade and closer to sim. With car combat being a thing now, you can get a flat tire and still drive around but it does the crumply rubber tube sound and your car slumps realistically so the handling goes to shit. Didn't go far so idk if the tire will shred and leave you driving on rims (kinda hope it will just for the sparks)

Brakes are actually reasonable now too. No more "no brakes no brakes SUDDEN AND IMMEDIATE SQUEELING STOP" or "barely touch the brakes and stop on a dime"

I've not played for very long so far, but there's things I don't like but are likely just something you have to get used to as opposed to an actually bad change.

Im still futzing with the graphics settings, but it's decent-ish enough at the moment. Good enough for testing out the new stuff at least.

Outside view of Dogtown from a lot in Pacifica. Gonna go now and see if I can peek over the wall by the freeway.

Phantom Liberty drops midnight of the 26th (so one minute after 11:59 PM of the 25th) with pre downloads already being available in some areas I believe.

this was the 2nd time finding ghost levi, instead of the floaty island >.>

but a video guide helped me, and i found the island xD

this mofo yeeted me in the air when i first saw him e.e but i escaped. second time he nudged me and i yeeted myself outta there.

my seamoth did explode one time when i was searching a wreck...but not by levi, but by a smaller creature that looked like a cockroach with teeth..

i didn’t have time to repair it ;_; it was already at 24% when i noticed and then BOOM! oh and goodbye depth module and storage module (found, not made)

BUT NOW THE GOOD PARTS

i got to upgrade my base after finally finding multipurpose room etc. ^^

but now i’m low on materials e.e and i want to add another window..

Yall do realize to be as high rank, rich, and to win even somewhat consistently/be good at gambling, you can't just have great luck-

Youd have to have a *damn good* understanding of statistics, reading people (especially body language), and psychology (yes, including how to abuse it to manipulate people and get what you want)

And to do all that without a formal education? That takes some SERIOUS fucking work/skill

So stop calling aventurine stupid or "low iq"

Theres a damn good reason ratio- mister i cant stand looking at idiots- wasnt wearing his plaster head around aventurine, and it's because he isnt fucking stupid

And if aventurine is playing stupid, you should be fucking worried.

A heads up for anyone frustrated with the huge ram cost of vehicle quickhacks, the Netwatch Netdriver mk.1 halves the required cost.

I found one during the gig On a Tight Leash, for Padre, in the basement room of the bus depot behind a 10 technical ability door.

I got it at lvl 39, so I don't know if it's there earlier in the game, or if it's a random drop.
