I do think it's fair for those of us who wanted a challenge to complain about how a boss was suddenly nerfed to hell for everyone a couple of days later.

Now, do I personally think there should be a casual mode and a challenge mode added to story quests that players can toggle which one they want? Yes.

HSR is not a FromSoftware game. It can have an "easy" mode button added. This way casuals can get through the story in a timely manner to avoid spoilers AND people (like myself) who want a challenge can still have it.
