The compilation of all 1MORE earphones is awesome! Never had anything like this before!

HD6XX headphones' cable died, can't afford a replacement 'til next week; went back to my ATH-M50x's and they sounded like absolute dogshit. Seems it's mostly the earcup pads' fault since they also made another pair of headphones sound like dogshit, but some generic round Aliexpress earpads saved the day on some 1MORE headphones I had laying around that have a much more similar sound-profile to what I'm after

They are "1MORE Triple Driver Over Ear" which is an absolutely wonderful name but they have a model number of "H1707". These are really good for their current sale price on usa.1more.com, which is $70, but their actual shelf price of $200 makes them dicier. The earpads are really shit, protein leather and thin. You can rip them off, harvest the plastic clip-in bracket underneath them, and superglue some more durable pads to them though, which brings them up to "closed-back HD6XX quality" in my opinion.
