Orgoglio Bergamasco in France (and on 2 wheels)!

Bergamo is leaving its mark on the first (official) edition of the Tour de France Femmes!

The jerseys are manufactured by Santini (as for the men’s), a Bergamasca family company. Inside the leader yellow jersey they added a letter to the wearer, about the importance of the yellow jersey.

Right now, sitting 2nd in the GC, 16seconds behind Marianne Vos (the GOAT of cycling.) is 25 year-old Silvia Persico! The Bergamo native turned 25 on Tuesday and celebrated by finishing 2nd on the stage behind the GOAT! And that is after finishing 7th at the Giro Donne a couple of weeks ago (and finishing 3rd, behind Vos again, in Bergamo!).

I am always snapping pics (safely of course) of the magnificent sky as I drive. I look to the sky quite a bit. I turn my face to the sun, I marvel at this beautiful Universe, and I give thanks. Commenting on what you said about the "odd animation," I feel like there's some mismanagement of when to actually make the animation look fluid or not. There are a lot of floaty/flowy animated things that are seen in various trailers and I know that can take up time and resources to animate, which I can appreciate when done right and some of these scenes look pretty good in that regard. I just wish they took that time to make things like Moon Crisis Make Up! look better than how it is now lmao.

the cut at 16seconds is what I mean. it's too much yet so little at the same time, the timing feels a bit weird...? but I'll mention this again modern sakuga tends to do this sort of pause like sort of timing and I personally dislike it. The smear for her hand didn't need to be there cus the movement wasn't fast enough imo to allow it (Or at least, it  shouldn't have been her entire hand smeared.)

Mamoru looking up at Usagi has that bounce I feel was a bit unnecessary? Maybe instead  have the bounce end with a head tilt?

Usagi’s movement was alright I just felt they ended her animation way too early all that movement only for the rest of the cut to have her frozen with mouth flaps

like this is weird coming for me, who likes lively animation but it’s like... it's more so like tone it down a bit,  or fix the like... timing for some of these. Yuki Hayashi’s animation for Season 1/2 is more my preference for lively animation.... I think...?

Double Moon has a more pacing and timing problem, and is just clunky all over. Not cus gotta be lively sakuga but cus of bad animation and drawing: the animator definitely messed up on the hairs sense of direction causing the clunkiness. And of course it being flat in some areas art wise, so the 360 spin is clunky (not enough frames to make those spins smooth either. ) The spin before the skirt isn't bad per se, just weirdly timed and pace, possibly because there wasn't time for more frames for a complete smooth spin like the 90s version (notice for that cut in the 90s version, Chibiusa and Usagi are moving the whole way until the cut ends with the skirts)

Double Moon is trying to sell us that it is this Bouncy, lively, and Sakuga animation like the clip above, but it's clear these lack of frames and timing hinder it way more and causes clunking.

if I can find the animation tutorials that gets into this,  I'll reblog it. Another video by Aaron Blaise of Disney talks about overanimation as well and I think anime is sometimes guilty of this... however, he doesn't show an example of over animation tho so I'm not 100% sure what he means,  and I am a sucker again, for lively animation I just have a specific preference for it and subtler animation.
