Image description: An origami tangram with blue and green coloured pieces arranged to form a heart. I chose those colours as they are El’s favourite. The tangram heart is placed in a brown origami frame. I tried to go for a look that mirrors the vibes of this photo that El posted!
I was inspired by El’s Wolfstar pie art for the idea of a tangram. It’s such a cool and creative art medium, and I absolutely love how neatly and precisely they’re made. She made a really fun and adorable Drarry pie, too, that sounds so delicious from its description. Check it out here!
I thought of folding a frame to place the tangram in, to mimic a framed painting, after I read her amazing magical realism wolfstar AU:
The Art of the Impossible (M, 10825)
Sirius is already defying his family's expectations in more than one way, but he hasn't burned all the bridges yet. Not until he meets Remus, a young artist with a unique talent.
It’s such a gripping story with a great concept! I was totally absorbed in the fic throughout, just like how viewers of Remus’ paintings are in his art. El’s evocative descriptions conjure a vivid picture of the paintings, as well as the thrilling action of the story as you read along.
El’s own gorgeous art never fails to draw people in. Whether it’s striking, sexy or soft vibes, it always brings a smile to your face. Check out her masterlist for more of her art and other works! And also this amazing work she submitted for wireless this year 💜
Thank you, El, for all your help and encouragement, for always listening to me and my wild ideas, making gorgeous banners, and just being a kind, lovely bean. It's always a pleasure to talk to you and work and collab with you ☺️ All the hugs and love 😘Hope you have a great birthday! ❤️❤️❤️ Here’s a bonus origami tangram cat for you 😸:
