15 - How do you write smut scenes? Do you get very visual or detailed? How important is it to be realistic?

The few I have done, I tried to be visual and somewhat detailed to try an convey the scene, but I discovered that's actually very difficult for me. I can do the emotions based on personal wish-fulfillment, but beyond that I am a bit detached. Trying to describe the physical actions and sensations is difficult. I'm not sure if it's because I'm Ace, or because I am usually writing from the perspective of a person with a dick (and I has none *sad face*).

Wanted to talk fangirl about Touchstarved and be a mutual ♡♡ I was thinking (prolly over thinking) that in the quiz that the devs conducted of which LI you are dating or something....like that ...there was this question "How will you most likely die in a Horror movie? Tropes only!!" (I am not so much knowledgeable on horror movies and their popular tropes...coz I am Hypersensitive and avoid it like the plague) ...but YK ..every question and every option associated with a particular LI ..was definitely foreshadowing something or telling us something about the character....so you know Leander's option was interesting...it was , murdered for losing virginity, and I was like.."woah.. really? But doesn't this guy keep a room reserved for his 'escapades' ..lol" then it got me thinking about a theory in fandom associated with him ...about the Triple Goddess symbol on his belt ...the Maiden, The Mother, and the Crone...and someone pointed out that Leander, Ais and Mhin seem to be in the centre of this poster making them quite important to the plot (perhaps?)

And well ... someone also pointed out .. Leander could represent the Maiden, Ais the Mother, and Mhin the Crone ... Due to symbolism and their personality fitting their respective goddess ....well I was thinking, If Leander is associated with the Maiden, is he somehow being punished for losing his v card ? Lmao ..Idk 😶 I mean ...the Greek myth associated with him ...or more like his name ... Leander and Hero...in the myth ...the Leander of the Greek mythology manipulates Hero into being intimate with him and tell her how virginity is a concept and yada yada ..this could be a stretch... But is he being punished for something? Something like losing his chastity? YESSS The options in the Touchstarved quiz are so interesting!! I’ll admit, the connections between the choices and the LIs were,, pretty elusive to me- The only choice I knew that was 100% Vere was being “Choked to death, but like, in a sexy way,,” 😭 When it turned out that Vere was actually associated with that option, it didn’t surprise me at ALL 💀

Also, yeah, I totally get you on being terrified of horror movies 🥲✌️

OO, I’ve seen that Maiden, Mother, Crone theory too and I find it so interesting!! Yeah, there is a lot of symbolism within Touchstarved, and I am All For It™ when people try to analyse and dismantle it!! 👏 But yeah, definitely agree that something is Up With Leander™ (I don't think I've heard of that story with Hero and Leander, I'll have to check it out!!)

Fire is a force to be respected but Roman has long since appreciated the power it holds and the raw destruction it’s capable of causing. Even as a child, he’d always been intrigued by flames, watching them crackle merrily in the fireplace but never could he have imagined how impressive a blaze could be once it had gotten out of control, seeing himself reflected in those dancing flames as early as then. Just as he couldn’t have begun to imagine the damage it would cause, he never imagined how powerful he would feel during the night he killed his parents. Their deaths were ruled an accident by the GCPD, finding that a careless cigarette had started the blaze upstairs while Mr. and Mrs. Sionis slept before the resulting smoke overcame them in their own bed. Unknown to the police, Roman had been at the scene all along, watching from the trees with his heart thumping in his chest as he watched the flames climb higher and higher, painting the night sky red as his parents perished in its fiery wake. His mother and father, who had long been the source of his aggravation and pain were at last no more and it was all because of him.
