Hello, I wasn't sure if this was the kind of thing you did, but I thought I would give it a shot? I want to find faceclaims for Lightning, Serah, and Lumina from the Final Fantasy XIII series. I was wondering if you knew of three faces that could be related? If you need more info please let me know. No worries if you don't do this!

BIGSOUND festival announces first artist lineup for 2018

Following on from a massive first round announcement of speakers in May, BIGSOUND continues to cement its reputation as the country’s biggest discovery event for new music, with the unveiling of the first round of live acts, set to take the stage across 4 nights in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley this September 4-7.

The event, which brings together key industry figures and music fans from around to the world to sample the best of tomorrow’s hottest Australia acts, welcomes its first 75 acts. Showcases from Australia’s most buzzworthy live acts, including The Chats, Eliott, Cable Ties, Asha Jefferies, yú yī and more, sit among a long list of Australia’s future headliners.

Despite being only six months into a brand new year of Australian music, massive buzz from the industry has already helped solidify pop act Eilish Gilligan, electronic act CLYPSO, captivating songwriter Tyne-James Organ, Canberra rockers Moaning Lisa and Zimbabwean born, Perth based rapper T$oko as must-see acts at BIGSOUND Festival this year. Newcomers Georgia Mulligan, sweater curse, Adrian Eagle, KAIIT and Sydney DIY punkers ARSE have also positioned themselves as ones to watch in 2018.

BIGSOUND’s first round of live artists also sees an influx of metal, hip hop and folk music added to the bill; Sydney’s ARTERIES lead the charge for all things heavy, alongside metalcore outfits Gravemind, Sleep Talk and heavy hitters Cast Down. West-Sydney’s Kwame, badass rapper KAIIT and 15 year old KIAN position themselves are key players in the hip hop world, while the uncanny song writing of Georgia Mulligan and new work from Greta Stanley helps reposition the idea of ‘singer-songwriter’.

New Zealand act Wax Chattels, Indigenous duo The Merindas, dream pop act Pool Shop and iconic Australian musician Ella Hooper also help round out a long list of fresh acts for BIGSOUNDFestival’s first announcement.

The festival will also see return sets from a small selection of BIGSOUND favorites including Blank Realm, Olympia, Gabriella Cohen and Oh Pep! While Brisbane outfit Blank Realm will be using the event as the world premiere for new material – after their previous release achieved critical acclaim around the world from the likes of Pitchfork, BBC, Stereogum and more – Olympia and Gabriella Cohen are also set to make return appearances with fresh work under their belts. Crowd favourites Butterfingers will be making an appearance at the festival, showcasing music for the first time since their 2017 single ‘Big Night Out’.

These artists (and over 70 others) will play in front of labels, publishers, agents, festival bookers and other industry heavyweights. Following in the footsteps of Stella Donnelly, Alex Lahey and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, BIGSOUND Festival artists from 2018 become eligible for the Levi's® Music Prize, the ability to score $25,000 in prize money and $5,000 in travel from Stage and Screen to assist in progressing their international music careers.

"The amount of BIGSOUND applications this year smashed last year's record by another 70 to make up approximately 1,133 applications. That's a lot of talent. Showtime encarga Intelligence, thriller de espionaje escrito, dirigido y producido por Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty). Basado en historias reales, explorará el funcionamiento interno del poder y cómo el espionaje se cruza con la política, las finanzas, los medios de comunicación y Silicon Valley. La primera temporada contará la historia que llevó a las elecciones americanas de 2016.

Netflix España ha encargado ocho episodios de El inocente, basada en la novela de Harlan Coben (2004), dirigida por Oriol Paulo (Contratiempo, Durante la tormenta) y escrita por Paulo (Contratiempo, Durante la tormenta), Jordi Vallejo (Alegría, tristeza; El cor de la ciutat) y Guillem Clúa (Estoy vivo, El cor de la ciutat). En ella, Mateo interrumpió una pelea y acabó matando a alguien involuntariamente hace nueve años. Ahora, es un exconvicto desconfiado que espera un hijo con su mujer y recibe una llamada que le vuelve a destrozar la vida.

Netflix España ha encargado seis episodios de Los favoritos de Midas, adaptación de la novela de Jack London (1901), sobre un empresario que deberá pagar mucho dinero para que una misteriosa organización no asesine periódicamente a personas al azar. Protagonizada por Luis Tosar (Celda 211, Te doy mis ojos), dirigida por Mateo Gil (Proyecto Lázaro, Nadie conoce a nadie) y escrita por Gil (Proyecto Lázaro, Mar adentro) y Miguel Barros (Gigantes).

Opera soprano Montserrat Caballé dies, age 85 | Music | DW

As announced by The Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona, Montserrat Caballé passed away early Saturday morning. The famous operatic opera star will be laid to rest on Monday.

When Montserrat Caballé was born on April 12, 1933, her parents named her after a nearby mountain range close to Barcelona. Yet no one in the family might have dreamed that the newborn would go on to conquer the lofty summits of coloratura singing, or would be revered as the “queen of bel canto.”

From Bremen out into the world

After studying voice at a conservatory in her native Barcelona, Montserrat Caballé made her debut in 1956 at the Theater Basel, where she played the consumptive Mimi in Puccini’s “La Bohème.” Three years later, the young soprano joined the ensemble of the Theater Bremen, where she consistently developed her repertoire and studied diverse soprano parts.

As audiences in the rather restrained northern German city of Bremen enthusiastically applauded the singer, foreign houses also became aware of Caballé. When in New York in 1965, the soprano stepped in for singer Marilyn Horne, who had fallen ill, and performed Donizetti’s “Lucrezia Borgia” without a rehearsal. “This is the bel canto specialist we’ve been waiting for,” cheered enthusiastic critics after Caballé’s impressive performance.

This sudden New York success might have surprised the singer but it was a pivotal step on her international career path. In an interview about the Italian vocal style decades later, she said of her New York performance: “Bel canto always sounded too much like the cry of a rooster. Mozart was better. The conductor simply told me to sing it as though it were Mozart.”

Although Caballé often interpreted works by Mozart or Richard Strauss, audiences especially wanted to hear her perform virtuoso coloratura parts in operas by Gioacchino Rossini, Vincenzo Bellini and Gaetano Donizetti. Indeed, rising demand for the soprano saw her soon make appearances at the Met in New York, as well as major international opera houses in Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Vienna, London, Paris, Milan or Buenos Aires.

After her meteoric ascent to the bel canto summit, Caballé became close with a colleague who was both admired and feared: Maria Callas. The two divas got along quite well, with the younger asking Callas for advice on difficult parts. The latter once described Caballé’s voice as a “light breeze on the skin.”

Caballé likewise had good relationship with soprano Renata Tebaldi, who was Callas’ fiercest competitor. The Spanish soprano was likely pleased after the international press labeled her the heir of the two celebrated divas in the 1970s and 80s. But amid the hype, bel canto remained the most important focus of Caballé’s wide-ranging stage repertoire.

Unafraid of rubbing elbows

Queen’s lead singer, Freddie Mercury, was a longtime fan

The soprano’s fans didn’t just stem from the classical music scene. One of the opera star’s most famous admirers was Freddie Mercury, lead singer in British rock group Queen. In 1987, he and Caballé collaborated on the album “Barcelona,” with the eponymous title song reaching the top of the European pop charts.

The album’s reissue for the 1992 Olympic Games was again a major success. On her 1997 album “Friends for Life,” Caballé collaborated with pop greats like Bruce Dickinson from band Iron Maiden (covering the Queen song “Bohemian Rapshody”), in addition to Johnny Hallyday, Jonny Logan, Vangelis and Helmut Lotti.

In addition to her classical repertoire, the singer was also interested in the traditional music of her Catalan homeland. She performed numerous concerts with her daughter, the soprano Montserrat Martí.

A UNESCO ambassador, Caballé received countless honors such as the Federal Cross of Merit awarded by Germany. In 2007, she received the ECHO Klassik Prize for her life’s work.

‘The best voice in the world’

Freddie Mercury was just one of many who raved about Caballé’s voice, saying it was “the best in the world.” Critics praised the almost inexhaustible versatility of her repertoire, the unusually dramatic nature of her performances, and her mastery of vocal technique. She was revered not only as the “queen of bel canto,” but one of the greatest singers of her generation.
