there was something really jim henson-esque and campy about how some of the non-human races were portrayed in the new dnd movie that i really enjoyed. they could’ve easily gone the shitty cgi route or just not shown those races up close at all, but no, they said you want a bird man? we’re gonna get you a bird man

Honestly the funniest thing about TDP to me is that Rayla for some reason always thinks Callum isn't 100% ride-or-die with her on any given situation. Seriously, she could decide she's jumping off a cliff and he'd do it too--oh wait.
I get that half of it is 'protecting' him but like. Girl he has been ready to die and kill for you since the first snake chain incident. It has not lightened up since. In fact its gotten worse. She's his special little guy and if anything happens to her he will kill everyone in the room and then himself. She physically cannot ever sacrifice herself for anyone because Callum WILL be following her straight into the afterlife in no less than a minute. I'm fully convinced he can and would go even further than Claudia and he'd barely have to think on it for five seconds before shrugging like "damn this sucks, can't believe I have to turn evil" "you literally don't have to--" "no I'm gonna"
And honestly I think that's peak teenagers first girlfriend behavior.

au where obi-wan is a divorce lawyer and anakin has a very bad habit of getting drunk and getting married, so they see a lot of each other over the years but then obi-wan’s long term relationship ends (he proposed, she said no), so he goes and gets drunk as one does and just happens to pick the same bar as anakin
and honestly he’d take it a little bit personally if anakin DIDN’T want to marry him two drinks in. getting drunk and marrying strangers is practically anakin’s thing, and obi-wan is just drunkenly relieved someone wants to marry him. sure, not his long term girlfriend, but SOMEONE.
the problem comes when anakin doesn’t want to divorce him the morning after

(JJK 220 Spoilers)
[ID: Two cropped pages from Jujustu Kaisen. One shows a panel of Gojo’s face close up and looking away with a speech bubble saying “Nobody will ever need to be alone again.” The panel after it is Gojo and Geto as Jujustu High Schoolers pointing and faced away. Text from Shoko’s internal dialogue is above saying “Truth is, Hell would freeze over before I would fall in love with one of you two.” The second cropped page is Shoko’s dialogue saying “I was there, wasn’t I? So what do you mean ‘alone’ you idiot!” End ID.]
I was caught off guard by this comment at first lol, but I like how this is “I may not be in love with either of you, but it doesn’t mean I don’t care or you’re alone” while managing to show how deeply gojo and geto cared for each other to the point where it’s directly affected how he wants to help others.

The look on her face here is something so serious. “Ricky Bowen you have been a surprise since the day we met.” And he’s never going to stop surprising her. He eclipsed all of her expectations, he is everything she has ever wanted.

Can i just say though, now that I've had time to process this, that q!Baghera's lore with the Federation might be one of the darkest one yet?
q!Cellbit's lore is basically a 4D game of chess, with violence.
q!Jaiden's is possible experimentation, or former employee.
q!Fit is a special operative sent by a third pary organisation.
q!Aypierre is employee for power, and possible experimentation too.
q!Etoiles c'est la baston as we say in French.
q!Luzu is posessed by an entity.
q!Tazercraft's gets heavier, having been repeatedly imprisonned, then witnessing torture.
q!Quackity's one is also pretty dark in comparison, since he was kidnapped and brainwashed.
q!Baghera's lore though? C H I L D A B U S E
