Ok! Good episode. I’d give it a 8/10 for being a creative way to shake things up while still sticking to the plot, taking away a point because I miss John, and another one because this means I have to solidify my Collins design.
I am really curious to know how exactly Collins acquired his ‘madness’/powers. I know some people point to Kayne, which certainly is a possibility but not the only one I think. I’m also excited to see if Collins will ever get an answer regarding just what’s happening with Arthur (and John)… I wonder if he’ll meet Larson face to face and realize that they both have the same eyes.
I am not quite sure how I feel about the fake out with Daniel, on the one hand, it is what I was hoping for, but on the other given the set up of Malevolent there’s still a very good chance he’ll die anyway which I don’t love (just in terms of narrative, I think if he died again immediately it would be kinda ehh. Like him dying initially was emotional and frightening, him living is a fun hopeful twist, but if it doesn’t work out I’m not sure his death will have the same weight for the audience, ya know?)
I do have a bit of a theory! Arthur is currently tied up in a chair in a dark room. You know who ELSE was until recently tied up in a chair in a dark room? I suspect that in the hour between Collins leaving and Larson arriving, Scratch is going to show up. They love Arthur! They’re not gonna let someone else have a psychosexual torture murder relationship with him! But that’s just my guess. We’ll see! As usual I’m very excited to see what our boys do next.

{Context: Squalo learnt English from a Londoner. Have you ever heard of Cockney rhyming slang? It uses terms such as "Liza Minelli", rhyming with and referring to a 'telly' or TV. The rhyming part is omitted. Hence, Liza replaces 'telly' and Scooby (short for Scooby-Doo, naturally) fittingly means "clue". In other words, he's saying "I've been trying to set up the TV but as for if that's actually working I have no fucking idea."
And yes, I do write out the Cockney accent.
Also, for the record, I drew the follow-up in a state of near slumber which never fully came to fruition.}

To all the murder drones artists making Vuzi content or suggestive/spicy Nuzi content lately....
I love you and will kiss you on the forehead /p /j
OR.....I could also give you a hug or a high-five if you are not comfortable with a platonic kiss, we dont judge in this household 😌
