The more I think about revised TGCF, the more convinced I am that Shi Wudu, Ling Wen and Pei Xiu were plotting a coup in the background
#random tgcf thoughts#tgcf#Shi Wudu#Ling wen#Pei xiu#it just feels like there was a whole hidden plot that got cut short because HX killed SWD xD#but also these three specifically feel like they were being targeted by JW#(also PM I guess but the best JW could do there was take away his deputy)#(and I feel like said deputy would have happily helped SWD with crimes)#(but also I just find it funnier if PM wasn’t in the loop)#the only one of JW’s plots in the novel that doesn’t impact the three tumors in any way is the ghost fetus#every other XL investigates arc ties into them either directly or indirectly#(lqq is an outlier because I don’t think JW had any involvement there)#(he didn’t know about fangxin and couldn’t have predicted the SQX would invite LQQ to ghost city)
