my cats are so mad at me bc I keep not going to sleep at the Set Time bc I had been mad-dash crocheting every morning and im just. so sad for them. bc im about to fuck up the schedule even worse.

just got a biopsy to see if my [checks notes] 15-week period is because of cancer. however then my friends drove me to get chocolate and the new martha wells novel so, you know, there are pros and cons here.

#the epic highs and lows of having a uterus #highs: people buy you chocolate!!#lows: all the other stuff :(#anyway i am. a lil stressed out lol #also pretty lightheaded! i'm not really even sure why because ok so yeah i was already anemic from the 15 weeks of bleeding #plus i was anemic before that also #plus there was a lot of blood during the biopsy. but i feel like that blood was just the stuff in my uterus that'd be coming out anyway #as opposed to new blood from within my veins or something #and i'm still sick lolllll #so it's a fun time. BUT! martha wells novel! and i lent all systems red to a friend who will hopefully become obsessed with murderbot #and talk to me about it constantly! (<-my endgame at all times)#it's so funny every time i've been to the doctor they're like 'date of your last period?' and i'm like april 9th. and it is ongoing.#and then we just 😬 at each other #anyway cross your fingers for me. apparently if the biopsy comes back negative they don't have other ideas for what could be going on #not sure how to feel about that. obviously i don't want to have cancer but it's very stressful not knowing what is going on #do i just bleed forever indefinitely??? i'll be real with you lads that doesn't seem great :/#she was like next step would be to put in a hormonal iud and i was like that is absolutely not an option that i will consider #i would sooner get a hysterectomy #so idk maybe i will get a hysterectomy! biopsy results in a week. okay. ending the tags now #if anybody wants me to trigger tag for cancer mentions let me know and i can definitely do that going forward <3

how is my friend's baby 12 days overdue and didn't come during the massive blizzard we had yesterday

#the entire town and most of the state had no power #the roads were basically impassable everywhere #thats exactly when you expect a baby to come esp if he's overdue #like he was WAITING for the blizzard #he wasnt going to come a week ago when the weather was nice and the roads were good #but no update so im assuming still no baby #he was never going to get a better chance to come at an inconvenient time #also im lowkey sad bc my mom pointed out he's probably never going to be able to wear tbe cute bear onsie i got him #its super warm and fluffy and he totes could have worn it if he came on time before easter #maybe not for beey long tho #but its april and this blizzard may have been our last snow 😔#and he wont fit in it anymore in the fall #we have a slight chance of snow next week but more likely rain #anyway we shall see it might be chilly for a few more weeks and the occasional random day in april or may #but he's def missed peak dress your baby like a teddy bear weather #maybe i'll buy them the size up in the fall it wasnt that expensive lol #anyway my friend lives ~next door~ like half a mile away down a hill then up a really big hill and we couldn't get out of our driveway #but i told her to lmk if they needed anything bc i would have walked thru 2ft of snow if they needed it lol #but they were probably better off than we were bc they have a woodstove and probably a generator and her father in law has a snow plow #i think #so they probably weren't even trapped in the house lol

I was just curious if you had done any April Fools jokes on people yesterday, or if you had any pranks played on you (online or in person.) I saw the booping thing and it looked really fun!

I wasn’t able to do anything major, but I did do a few minor pranks, including:

trying to convince someone that it was actually March 32 and we got an extra day of March because April was so short (and then they realized it was a leap year)

switching the language on one of my family member’s phones to French (I did end up learning some new words!)

pretending to see a gigantic seagull outside (makes slightly more sense in context)

Anyway, happy April! I’m wishing you good luck with all of your schoolwork! (Also I’m emotionally time traveling to boop you!)

Hi, Amethyst! I did not play any april fools jokes nor have any played on me outside of the booping. I must confess that I forgot both that it was april fools and that pranking people on april fools was a thing. It did not occur to me in the slightest

Instead I spent most of the day finalizing my homework before the week started (my weeks start on Tuesday this semester). So I’m glad you got to play some pranks!

Love the language one! Though I’m sure that’s no surprise. Are you studying French? I took 2 semesters in order to get my associates in Spanish, but I have forgotten practically everything. i think I still mostly know how to properly pronounce things though, but then again that’s just a general strength of mine when learning new languages (so far).

Happy April to you too! Thank you for the luck; I’ve got a few bigger things I need to knock out, so here’s hoping it goes relatively smooth. And I hope your schoolwork foes well, too!

life updates (even though no one asked for it): i finally after 6 years of trying moved out of the country woohoo. i’m in a whole new country in a whole new continent and today is the first day i’m just chilling in my room.

i want to get back to making gifs and being more online but honestly there’s nothing fun going on rn and also my classes start on monday :( the only thing that has me excited is only friends and 23.5 but i also have 500 things to catch up to so if any of them get me out of my slump i may end up here again

Guess who's spending Eid away from home again next year lol

#me bitch #i havent went home for eid for 2 years and if you count next year then make it 3 #so fyi first day of eid is estimated to be on the 10 of april 2024 which is Wednesday #so my classmates estimate that the classes on monday and tuesday will be online so they started to buy the tickets on Friday (5/4)#or during the weekend basically because yknow festive season = expensive tickets #and i told it to my friend and she chekced the ticket to go to kl and its only 200+ (official app) or 100+ (travel company) on 6/4 at 5am #so she asked me if i want to buy it so we can share transport to airport together and be in the same flight #so i called mom just now but since i need to take the transit to ny hometown it racks up to rm800+ 💀#totalled with the flights back to uni on sunday (14/4) it will be up to rm1600+ 💀#mom sound sorry and even said she can pay if i really want to go back home #but yknow i dont want to burden my parents more (they are the one who usually pay for my flights anyway)#and my friend who lives in the same state as me also doesnt seem to be able to afford the expensive tickets too #so its just me and her in the perantauan again ig lol #but my friend who lives here said to just celebrate eid with her and we can sleep in her room 😂#tbh i dont really mind not going back because as i get older the excitement for eid lessen idk #but i kinda miss the bersalam on the morning of eid with my family so yeah #and if i were to graduate and start working which i cant imagine ngl then i wont be home much anyway #whatever at least i get to fast at home for a week so theres still some W to celebrate #personal.txt
