A headcanon I think about at least once a day is about Cupid:

You know, in ever after high she helps people into falling in love and helps them to confess that love. But then she falls in love with Dexter Charming, which is obviosly in love with Raven Queen, and Raven is in love with Dex-

Yes, we get it. But I don't really like it, so I'm gonna change it >:( with this idea.

C.a Cupid is aware that those two are in love with eachother. When she first came in eah she saw them and with her abilities she understoon what was going on.

They are so in love that they can't even express it.

So Cupid decides to help them! She takes it as a challenge.Raven and Dexter MUST confess to eachother.She has been dealing with love since forever! Helping those two into confessing to eachother can't be that difficult, am I right?

W R O N G. They are so dumb- so helpless-

She tries, and tries, and tries- BUT NOTHING!Cupid is so fucking pissed that every plan she makes,every advice she says EVERYTHING goes wrong and everytime it creates a very embarassing situation between those two.

Cupid is so stressed-

You know the "Into the woods" episode? Right, except that our little cherubin goes with Ashlynn because she can't handle Raven and Dex!Like, give her a break.

She knows they were going to a date together, so she was like:

"I swear to zeus, I'm gonna leave them to they're destiny because I can't do this anymore, they are impossible! Can you belive it Ash?? I try my best into confessing they're love and WHAT DO THEY DO?? EMBARASS EACHOTHER!!With you and Hunter it was easy, WHY AREN'T THEY!??!"

Then Raven, Dex and company come to the rescue and ""save"" the group in the dark forest.

Cupid sees them and she's like "ARE YOU FOR REAL-"

Raven tells her how it went, and it was great! The date.was.great.

So cupid is :))))))) you mother fucker :))))))))

I could have said enchanted but that’s a copout. Anyways when I first listened to lover and heard the archer I immediately thought of them. “I cut off my nose, just to spite my face” is so Raven and her relationship with her mom. “I’ve got a hundred thrown up speeches I almost said to you” is also literally dexter. “All of my heroes die all alone” raven mfn queen. I could literally quote any lyric and related it to dexter raven or their relationship.

Dizzie - King Of My Heart

You know how in songs people don’t say normal things? And how they say like metaphors, rhymes and weird extra or missing words? That’s literally riddlish. And komh feels very Lizzie coded. And the title speaks for itself.

Dappling - Paper Rings

I also thought this immediately when I heard the song that it was very much apple and Darling. The fact that paper rings literally says darling in it… The archer is from both raven/dexters perspectives but paper rings is specifically Apples perspective of Darling. “I hate accidents except when we went from friends to this” I rest my case.

Bribelle - Don’t Blame Me alternatively I Can See You

Heartlockes - You Are In Love or “Slut!”

And historians will call them roommates. “One night he wakes, strange look on his face, pauses then says, you’re my best friend. And you knew what it was, he is in love” but like replace he with she. My fav friends to lovers. Unrelated but I was so shocked when I found out so many people hate Blondie. Also I could see this song from either perspective. And with slut it’s basically the same song just sm more aesthetic and well I feel like people would probably call Cupid a slut (my poor baby) because god (fairygod? Narrative? Gods? Grimm?) Forbid a goddess of love talk about… love.

Farrahlynn - tolerate it

Istg they need a better ship name. But no one ships them !! *Sighs* I see them as tragic unrequited in love with your childhood best friend who has a boyfriend and is now popular. Literally any song off of evermore fits them. I want more people to ship them!! If I had to give a happy (ish) song I’d say snow on the beach.

Dexpid - Foolish One

I like to forget Cupid ever had a crush on dexter. But if I had to acknowledge it it’s fs foolish one.

Bunnistair - Wonderland

I mean we knew it was coming. Also wtf is their ship name. Going with my personal hc (aka my canon ‘rearrangement’) I like to think that Alistair wasn’t also a wonderlandian and that he found wonderland (lmao Chissy Columbus) after Lizzie, Kitty, Maddie, Hatter and the White Queen had already left. And like he fulfilled his whole destiny literally missing the mad hatter, Cheshire Cat, and Queen of hearts. And that he lowkey went insane there.

Crystlynn - Forever Winter

More of athena rearranging canon; evil crystal!! And like basically the snow queen and crystal (snow king erasure bc what was the point in making him be the one who goes all crazy instead of the literal snow queen) purposefully mad it winter forever because they’re villain (Jackie Frost and Northwind erasure because they’re fucking useless and annoying). But like Crystal deep inside doesn’t want to be a villain and Ashlynn slowly starts melting (haha) her cold exterior. But then Crystals like sike and that’s when this song takes place. (I beg people to start shipping Ash/Crystal and Ash/Farrah more)

As a Dexpid anti i get your suffering after that smut I believe i need either a dexven or Heartlockes smut(prob both)

im no anti to any ship, even if its not my cup of tea 😅 i let ppl ship what they want, im no one to judge when im out here making my entire internet persona about creating porn of two girls from an old cartoon made just to market a doll line 💀

but it was definitely an odd experience writing straight vanilla sex for the first time, and it was definitely a knock in the teeth to find out its my longest fic apart from 'just right' 😭 like damn bitch was i made to write hetero stuff all this time?? oof- thats just a cruel joke from god to make a lesbian only good at writing straight sex frfr

anyway, thankfully i just completed my heartlockes smut fic 'kink' !!! its only 4k words but im happy i actually completed it! ive been working on it a while and even made fan art of it a little bit back

its on ao3 which is normally the best way to read my fics because tumblr loses my italics and bold fonts when i paste it here (rip to the flavor i guess 💀) but i will post it here too

I actually liked the last chapter. I like your writing style. Will you write only Blondie × Cupid or are you planning something for other ships?

Actually never expected to get complimented on my writing, i only really have any confidence in my fanart so im happy to be told someone actually likes what i made

Blondie and cupid are my obsession currently so all fics i have been writing focus on them because i just enjoy writing them lol, in just right i will have some side ships, im pretty sure the next chapter is the first mention of a side ship? But it still wont be that much. im also writing my non fairytale burlesque heartlockes au which has some raven x dexter in it so far.

As for fics that fully centre on different ships i only tried that once with a silly raven x apple one shot smut fic which got abandoned and still haunts my google docs to this day. the entire purpose of it was just so i could have apple moan out “poison me!” And ruin the entire mood. I thought it was funny. (I still think its funny )

Theres just no other ships i can see myself writing without eventually getting bored and abandoning the fic 😓 im not good with finishing my works already, and if im not obsessed with the ship its likely i will lose interest after the first couple days of writing (like the rapple smut rip soldier)
