Might be inactive for a week or so, I’m sorry for being so depressing yesterday. I’ve been going through a lot of shit with my biological mother and other shit I don’t wanna mention, plus this and now my period started 😭⁉️ I think that’s why I was so angry yesterday. I said things in a way I shouldn’t have said them and it was just immature of me. I genuinely don’t wanna make this sound like I’m trying to excuse my behaviour, I just wanna add context. I have serious trust issues so when it comes to stuff like someone I know suddenly having a problem with me, it really affects me more than I’d like to admit. Again, I’m not gonna go into serious detail here but if people would like to understand more Idm saying it on dm.

Ik to the people who are against me writing this won’t matter, but I never actually envision myself in the content I create, even with most of my SFW content. I even fucking refer to Y/N as Yen in my head, and I used to prefer third person but changed to second because it’s what the majority of people use here. Again not blaming, just explaining. I like to separate the thought of me from the characters I write, always making them older regardless of the genre. I would never engage in such a relationship with an adult irl, because hello that’s fucking weird.

I use writing as a way to process complex situations and emotions, because I genuinely don’t know how to. I’ve tried so many times to find different ways to open up but writing truly is the only way I’ve found that’s really stuck. I don’t like how people are vilifying me in the same breath as telling me “I don’t know any better”. I get it, people go through shit and that affects them. Trust me, I know firsthand that happens, but to scream from the rooftops that minors shouldn’t read nsfw at all is counterproductive.

This may just be my belief and the belief that my parents have taught me, but if a minor is taught the rights and wrongs and they understand what is okay and what isnt in a relationship, is it really that horrible for them to interact with nsfw content in general? Let’s face it, with technological advancements puberty is now suggested to begin at 10. Despite how many things you wanna put in place minors sooner or later are gonna be exposed to nsfw content, especially with how readily accessible it is. I’m not saying anyone personally has to accept minors on their blog, I’m seriously not, but perhaps consider spreading more awareness of what a healthy sexual relationship is instead throwing them in the deep end when they reach 18.

You can bring up as many laws as you want to, but if someone decides to read nsfw content written by a minor, knowing the consequences, why are you placing blame on the minor? Concentrate on yourself and your morals, and if you feel the need to block anyone who makes you feel uncomfy. But unless you can fully say with not a single hint of a doubt “I didn’t interact with a single piece of nsfw content until I was 18” you are a hypocrite. You can’t fully judge someone for something you used to do as well, especially calling them disgusting. Yes, minors do need to be protected from certain aspects, i wholeheartedly agree, but what gives you the right to call them disgusting? Talk to them like they’re you’re child, or diss their parents? You have no clue how someone was raised, what they’ve been through, just as someone doesn’t have a clue about how you were raised. There’s no need to bring someone’s loved ones into a one-on-one dispute.

I’m rambling, but basically my point is this: if you wanna completely isolate your blogs from minors that’s completely valid and acceptable, but what is not is sending hate and/or trying to trying to invalidate a person’s feelings. I’m not even gonna bother to open this godforsaken app for a while cause all I’m gonna get is hate but idc, I had to get this off my chest. I’ve unfollowed everyone in my following who’ve updated to mdni, so I beg of the people who are reading this about to rip their hair out and crash into my asks, just block. Just unfollow. I have a lot to think about over this week, whether this account will be closed etc so the last thing I wanna do is make the wrong choice because other people’s words have gotten to me.

P.S to everyone who sent me support/tried to calm me down when I was having a meltdown, thank you. I’m sorry if my responses didn’t fully express how grateful I was, and I’m sorry if you now receive backlash for comforting me.

• what i like most abt them: honestly offstage theyre rly humble and chill. like the one behind show they did where they just sat and made bead bracelets w the mc for 15 minutes and just like didnt try to overact for the camera and they were just vibing ?? perfect. theyre so funny and incredibly talented its insane. ik i say they dont have any bad songs but like they literally do not imo & i could listen to them constantly (& i do) even though they dont have a ton of music compared to other groups. also them being underrated and a smaller group means the fandom is relatively normal and its much easier to not feel like ur going insane when interacting w other tomoons lmao. also since they are a nobody group, all their albums on depop and stufd are rly cheap. shoutout to the person who sold me ‘lived’ album for $5 plus shipping yesterday
