escaped au; before playtime co closed down, the toys just steal one of the employees' mini van and fucking dip for a road trip and no one notices a thing until both the news of the missing van from said employee and the select few toys and experiments that somehow escaped from the confines of the underground lab a few hours later.

Like i imagine them just having a dysfunctional family road trip. Mommy driving the van while Daddy sits in the passenger seat trying to calm everyone down while also people watching. their Baby and Poppy just sitting in baby seats that was already inside the van that they just decided to use instead of taking them out. Bunzo sitting in-between the child seats, quietly clapping his cymbals in rhythm with the radio with Boogie Bot sitting beside him trying to dance despite the lack of room. Both Candy and Catbee laying on the floor surrounded in stolen candy wrappers with Daisy trying to eat some crackers. Huggy, Kissy and the mini wuggies just managing themselves out with beef jerkey with both Bron and PJ Pug a pllier hanging their head out the window like dogs, scaring passers-by because holy shit that a dinosaur?!

You expect nothing else from me other than this mental image.

Maybe Kenneth wasn't exactly good with the flirting thing, especially when it came to women he really shouldn't have been flirting with at all. But he had been bringing her coffee every day with no ulterior motive. Always said he was "continuing the investigation", or "in the area". He was sure he was going to run out of excuses soon but it wasn't like he was going to say something - that was for a man with more hope than he.

"Morning." He greeted her, placing the cup in front of her with a press-lipped smile. "Just, uh, seeing if there were any changes from last time?"

Great chapter as usual I loved it and I actually really like conversation heavy chapters because I tend to accidentally skip over non conversation (?) Words I have no clue if what I just said made sense but I dunno how else to word it but I don't skip over dialogue as much so it's easier to understand what's going on without re reading it as Im reading the chapter

“You’re a shitty pillow,” Tommy grumbled as he made himself comfortable again. “Too fucking bony. Techno’s a much better pillow than you are.”

I thought this interaction at the beginning was cute God I love them <3
