it's valentine's day and i wanted to write to you.
no snowfall today, so the markets are bustling even more so than usual. i think i'll fly overhead later, just to observe our people trading and loving and serving each other. it days like today, i feel particualry inadequate, and wish to feel better, at serving them. love really is an act of serving, tending, gardening. we don't forget that here in the harvest kingdom, even in winter's mouth.
i'll wear my crimson lipstick to the royal dinner later, just to fluster takami-chan. i've grown fond of how he stares at the ring of pigment around the rim of my glass, like he covets it. i might even let him flatter me with that libertine mouth of his, should he bring his usual poetics. i'm feeling girlish tongiht.
our friendship is my favorite plant to water, princess. and each new leaf, each blossom you choose to unfurl is a treasure i consider most sacred crop. your confidences and vulnerabilities are safe with me, as they were and will be.
i shall tend to you always, even if they are sending on that wretched tour of suitors, this spring. at least our dresses will be fine. i can drink their wine before rejecting them. and i will have your quick wit in my ear, which i miss dearly. our giggles.

I apologize, I wanted to write back immediately, to celebrate valentine’s day with you in a manner that we used to; though I am a day late – though I am sure you do not mind
I thank you warmly for the letter, it made my day brighter to read it; as all my days are when I get a correspondence from you.
Currently it is raining here in Cashmerask, an odd occurrence as it is winter and I am closer to the north than you, but the weather does have a heart of it’s own. But that does mean a day inside, as much as I would love to visit the farmers field – and perhaps pick up some fine threads from the nearby vendors – it seems my fate is to be inside. I’ll most likely spend my day weaving that tapestry I have slowly working on, perhaps even getting a head start on our Summer Solstice attire, and dealing with whatever paperwork and matters that Tamaki brings my way.
Much like you, I do enjoy serving my people for they are the pillars my kingdom stands upon, without them and their strength we would tumble. But alas, these papers have less to do with trades and funding of new building, but rather dealing with those gaggle of suitors we must be face with, and have these past few months. And though I do not mind dealing with some of them – Bakugou has proved to be rather amusing – the burden this brings certainly puts a damper on the want to be girlish and giggling with you; though I am sure find a corner to stand in and share our thoughts will never cease to go away, it just simply means we’ll be interrupted from time to time.
Though I wouldn’t blame them if they wanted a dance with you~
Alas, I have to admit to you (and you are the only one I would ever utter such words to) that I have found myself enjoying the company of a potential suitor more than I would care to admit. Shouto had proven to be quite the confidant, though he could never hold a candle to you, I find myself enjoying our conversations; perhaps it is because we share a plight? I am not sure, but I do have thoughts about seeking him out for a dance at the next large engagement we all must attend.
Nonetheless, I hope Hitoshi doesn’t hear me utter those words. You know better how protect and jealous he can be, you have your own hawk spying over your shoulder and scaring away potential courting men; Takami hasn’t changed, and your lovely little anecdote of the red lipstick is proof – though I am sure if I wear a shade of violet Hitoshi would do something similar.
How complicated out lives can be, the relationships in them causing our heads to spin. But that makes me all the more thankful I have you to ground me, to give me clarity, and to walk with as we try and navigate our way through. Your friendship is something I covet, as much as you do with mine.
I can still recall our first summer together, though bedridden it was one of the happiest times of my life; the amount of laughter we did as we went about without a care in the world is something I cherish greatly and still think about from time to time – though we have grown so has that friendship, and though it is not the same, it still holds that same youthful glee and I am grateful for that.
As you tend to me, like the gardens you grow, so I will mend to you like the cloth I bind. I count the days until you join my in my castle estate as we await the party that is to visit us.

From a recording we did for Nogizaka Under Construction some time in September
Studying while sitting in a classroom where you can hear the sound of the waves would be amazing wouldn’t it.
Hello, I’m Ikeda Teresa thank you for once again opening my blog ^ ^
From a young age I would often go to the ocean. My dad loved surfing and so we often went on vacations to the sea. I have a tiny bit of a dislike of sea salt but I would still collect so many shells that I couldn’t even hold on to them all and I would make things like frames and I would make a lot of sea products (?) from them for my summer break free handicraft project🌊🤍
Maybe I have some link to the ocean!
By the way when it comes to swimming… don’t expect me to have a great time! Lol it’s important not to drown when it’s an emergency🫡

i think it really depends on the person?? like if it was the right person i would definitely be up for it but that is. one of the Biggest commitments you can make and i think you have to be 110% sure. (also maybe i have commitment issues. maybe so.)
as for how i would like to be proposed to, i think that proposals that don’t have a set time or place are much more romantic than ones that do, and honestly? i wouldn’t Completely Need a ring. my ideal proposal would be like,,, we’re making breakfast, i’m making us some coffees and they spin me around and simply propose because they want to feel that kind of love forever? it’s allllllllll about the moment. MAYBE i’m low maintenance or m a y b e i’m romantic 🤷♀️

unfortunately (or fortunately, you decide) i am a serial flirt (@scheifefe can back me up here i swear) and i find that it’s soooo different between flirting with men n women? like with men i tend to go for a more sarcasm-based approach (which is funny cause one time a guy had a crush on me because i argued with him constantly) and idk what it is but it seems to work okay, and for women it’s just like. honestly just be yourself women are fucking Lovely

I can imagine so many ways to be proposed to, but I know I want it to be somewhere special, somewhere we are both happy.
