I know it’s not much in the face of everything but I have been finding hope & resilience in palestinian poetry these past few weeks and I created a google drive file of poetry collections by palestinian poets that I will keep updating as I keep on reading. I also recommend checking out @fiercynn’s palestinian poets series for more poets + poetry available online

What to boycott NOW to help stop Israel’s unfolding genocide of Palestinians in Gaza
Reminder that boycotting DOES work, there is historic proof! Don't let anyone discourage you otherwise!
The BDS movement uses the historically successful method of targeted boycotts inspired by the South African anti-apartheid movement, the US Civil Rights movement, the Indian anti-colonial struggle, among others worldwide.
We must strategically focus on a relatively smaller number of carefully selected companies and products for maximum impact. Companies that play a clear and direct role in Israel’s crimes and where there is real potential for winning, as was the case with, among others, G4S, Veolia, Orange, Ben & Jerry’s and Pillsbury. Compelling such huge, complicit companies, through strategic and context-sensitive boycott and divestment campaigns, to end their complicity in Israeli apartheid and war crimes against Palestinians sends a very powerful message to hundreds of other complicit companies that “your time will come, so get out before it’s too late!”

"but they'd kill queer people in Palestine" is balant racism and islamphobic rhetoric disguised (very badly) as concern for queer people. People who claim this can more than easily look up queer liberation movements in SWANA but guess what, they do not care, they never cared abt the queer ppl here, and they just view us all as a hivemind incapable of growth and change. The US introduced 500+ homophobic bills this year alone and I dont see them saying Americans deserve getting bombed endlessly.
Israeli airstrikes hit all Palestinians regardless if they're queer, young, old, men or women. Acting like a country's stance on queer liberation should decide wether its people deserve life and safety is insane, actually insane, it's just bigotry and dehumanization beyond words

Lavish obi with beautiful zakuro (pomegranate) embroidered on black base.
The embroidery is quite unusual, with a lot of different stiches bringing texture to the design.

Israel and Israeli settlers aren't the way they are because of Judaism. That's how settler colonialism and settlers are. Even people who are political radicals, who have experienced oppression as an ethnicity themselves, etc. can become twisted into believing and doing horrible things as Settlers. Look at the Irish in Ireland vs Irish American settlers politically. Australia ended up with a disproportionate amount of human rights and workers rights activists in its initial groups of settlers (as convicts), it lead to nothing in the face of joining settler colonialism. Colonialism routinely makes monsters of the colonizers.
Scapegoating Judaism just lets other settler colonies off the hook for similar brutalities.
