I draw Liar Princess/Wolf more often so I included the prince this time. I've been using a thin pen a lot more recently so it was a bit strange to go back to a more sketchy pencil look, but it works so well for LPatBP fanart.
Translation [ENG] - Blindness from feathers* and stars in a hand
Blindness from feathers and stars in a hand
Weight of the sin burdens dirty palm of a hand
Sinking lamb*
Please grant my wish and chain these hands
Whip of punishment lashes along every sinful throb of pulse
Buried lamb*
Please grant my wish and stop this noise
I don’t need the tenderness of licking each other’s wounds
I want pain filled with the smell of death
I am still living today because of the needle surfacing from the vein
Despite rejecting everything being put in my mouth
I was kept alive today because of the pulse throbbing in my artery
Despite spitting out everything being put in my mouth
Countless sins to hide mistakes
Countless wounds to hide the pain
If only I could forgive myself, no one would blame me anymore
The only salvation is to be blinded* by the floating from the body stars
Stars are shining so I won’t fall
Stars are shining but I cannot recognize them
* it’s the “feathers’ blindness” that is both caused by them and entitled to them. The feathers of wings, or falling feathers of wings covering our eyes, literal sight, or more metaphorically - our inner insight and feelings about everything
* in the previous line there is expression “stone of sin” which I translated into its weight burdening hand. Linking two of these paragraphs together we are getting the lamb which sinks because of the said stone of sin.
Lamb can symbolize Jesus Christ who had been, in bible, killed to erase our sins which are weighing on him. Lamb was used for sacrifices, too.
Lamb also symbolizes innocence and purity which are drowning, sinking because of the sins.
* I have decided to use “buried” because it links to the entire song; buried here in my opinion means to sleep in a grave, to die. Linking it with the previous explanation; lamb buried because of the weight of sins
* it’s an indirect, having no other way agreement on being blind and using this salvation. However, by the end of the day the stars are too much... They cannot be recognized neither can they bring salvation
Translation [PL] - Ślepota z piór* i gwiazdy na dłoni
Ślepota z piór i gwiazdy na dłoni
Ciążący na wierzchu dłoni grzech
Zatopiona owieczka*
Proszę, spełnij moje życzenie i zakuj te dłonie
Bat pokutny biczujący z każdym grzesznym uderzeniem pulsu
Pochowana owieczka*
Proszę, spełnij moje życzenie i zatrzymaj ten dźwięk
