東京大学グローバル教育センター開所式。

母校でスピーチ、パフォーマンスさせて頂き、光栄でした。

エコバッグをデザインされたJulia Madokaは東大時代に出会った仲間(我々は駒場キャンパスだったけど！)。お隣の中尾先生がエコバッグが気になり、五黄の寅のデザインの説明をすると、何と先生がJuliaのお友達のお母様だと言う。It’s a small world!

色々なご縁の始まりの場所。本来イタリアに留学したかったものの、母の圧力で日本に変更。

人生思い通りに行かないけど、不思議なご縁で繋がって行く。一見無関係に思える音楽・芸能の道へ進み、またこうして始点に戻る。Came full circle！

教授達との再会、現役学生達との出会い。

世界が広くなるのと同時に、近くなっていく🌏

居場所があるって本当にありがたいことだなと実感しました。

It was an honour to speak and perform at the Inauguration Ceremony of the University of Tokyo Center for Global Education.

I was able to talk about how my exchange to Japan was a beautiful ‘accident’ - how life rarely goes as planned but still manages to surprise us.

My experience at UTokyo didn’t end with the exchange. In a way it’s still continuing. I was more oblivious to what was going on in the rest of the world, whereas now the news has the power to move and break me. For each country now has a distinct face. It has a name. The world became a whole lot bigger but closer.

Then there were the days where I became physically sick from online gaming and cosplaying to the animes we watched at Mitaka dorm. It’s bizarre that now people from around the globe recognise my voice in such games & anime.

Thank you to the professors who welcomed me back. Hello to the former students - these years could possibly be the best years of your life!

It was great to be back to the institution that literally opened the door to the world.

Like my tote (designed by my friend Julia Madoka from Todai days!) says - Carpe Diem!
