Beach Episode!! I just had to take the excuse to draw Tech and Medic in vintage swimwear lol. Look at them, don't they make a cute couple?
Ref and tracing notes under the cut:
I very lightly traced the poses for size, but only used small parts of the woman's outline before adjusting the sketch for Tech's body shape. I also traced an angled shot of Medic's head, but that was edited as well.

✨Medic Gush Post Hours✨
I may be distancing myself from canon, but my love for my dear Ludwig is as strong as ever, rekindled after every hardship we face. And I guess if you're new to following me, you haven't seen me talk about how cool and amazing he is, so buckle up for a ride.
Well, since he's in 'medic matchups', I must first mention that the loss of a medical license does not take away your doctorate, so Medic is still a doctor! A doctor who absolutely will use that medical knowledge to take care of his wife (me) every time I need it. Is there a better use of a medical degree than that? I don't think so. Self shipping aside, you can bet he'd still do that with whomever he decides to be with.
He can be very friendly and sweet if you don't annoy him at work, too. If you can handle his workplace anecdotes, he can be a great conversationalist, too. And when he's happy or in a good mood, there's a small chuckle every now and then which is just so endearing. 🥺 He's not always yelling or really energetic either, if you're worried about being overwhelmed - his softer tones are very warm and even lulling. Listening to his softer voice once calmed me down from an anxiety attack, true story. And the way he accent sounds on every word is too adorable, I just never want him to stop talking!
Ludwig isn't exactly known for being a 'by the book' doctor, but don't let that distract you from all the amazing feats of science he's accomplished! A vapor/fluid that can instantly heal any recently-acquired injury? A heart device that makes you bullet proof?? GENIUS! He's a genius!! A real mad scientist in the best way, he should have won the best mad scientist award imho. And best doctor. But if he wins this one I'll be so happy because I just want to give him the world! I want his genius recognized and his loveliness recognized!
He's a good doctor and a good bird dad and the best husband ever (in self ship land lol)! Please vote for my liebling, I'd love nothing more than for him to get this win. Also cuz none of my blorbos that I was rooting for have won their contests yet and I'd really like a win. <;_<

My first time meeting him was my first time on the job, as part of my tour of the base. Since I was going to be living there, I also had to get a general overall physical which....didn't really give me a good first impression of him. <_<'''
E - Emotion - is your f/o open with their feelings or do they keep them close to their chest?
He's open with surface emotions and things like joy or frustration. But if things get more complicated or deeper, he tends to close up and try to deal with it himself. Medic doesn't like to show vulnerability, even with me and even now, but the more often he trusts me with his feelings, the easier it's becoming for him to seek support.
D - Danger - which of you is more likely to get into trouble? how well does your f/o handle danger?
Medic, I would say, has an above average tolerance to danger, sometimes finding excitement in it. He wouldn't risk his life for a job if he didn't think it wasn't worth it. But that's not to say he never gets scared, and he's often turned away from danger if the perceived benefits did not outweigh the risks.
That being said, it is certainly more likely for him to get into trouble than me.

Okay. I've gone over so many different confession scenarios, some where he confessed first and some where I did; some that were built up and/or serious and others where it sorta just slipped out accidentally. And I can't settle on one. They're all so touching in their own ways, and I also wanna make sure it's the most in-character situation for both of us. Sorry I can't give you an answer right now! 😅 If I ever settle on which scenario is 'canon', I'll write it down and post it here.

Medic's young daughter quickly becomes intrigued by her father's work, as soon as she's able to look over the table. It becomes a common occurrence for her to watch him conduct his research, occasionally asking questions and learning more about biology and medicine. Medic is hoping this is a sign that she'll follow in his footsteps, but is happy enough that he has his daughter's company.

Day 2: Formal
Another one for @dontneedadispenser's V-Day event. I almost didn't post it, but a few friends of mine made me feel better about it. Please accept my humble contribution. u///u 👉👈
This is my personal cliché scenario of going to a ball/gala, but I did also see Saxton Hale host these kinds of parties, so you could say this stuff is canon. Maybe one of them was nominated for a merc award and was invited to bring a few friends. And with the help of an anonymous "fairy godmerc", Technician was able to attend a fancy event for the first time in her life. Needless to say she took her secret admirer's breath away - just like she hoped she would.

On this day last year, RED Medic and Technician tied the knot! What better way to celebrate than to make a picture based on the TF2 achievement color palette challenge! It's quite an achievement for sure, and perhaps one that more TF2 OC ships will get in the future.

“Gee, I wish I was multilingual.”
I was not ready for this outcome. (ok maybe a little, but the fact that the outcome was so great was surprising)
l get three offers right away:
Heavy wants to personally teach me Russian. This much I expected since we’re the closest of the three that offered. But I didn’t know he be so personally involved until I learn of his proficiency in Russian literature. He must know the ins and outs of it, I think, and his vocabulary’s exceptional. (I also commend him for coming so far in English; it’s hard enough as first language XD) Unfortunately, Russian is very...very......very hard for me to learn. So.....we’re gonna be here a while. (Also, I know maybe 2 words of it irl, so don’t expect me to speak it w/o a translate site any time soon.
In comes Medic with German. He’s a prideful man, so yeah he’s gotta share that with me, when he’s not busy. It feels sorta weird in my mouth to speak it, but I actually do well with the pronunciations. He’s not much of a language teacher though, and we mainly go off a book and his personal usage of it - which he’ll increase for the purpose of teaching me. Dang, he’s dedicated to this. XD I never use it in conversation though, so he believes none of it is actually sticking with me. So he gives me pop quizzes when I least expect it, and I don’t always do well under the pressure. T^T
After a nerve wracking pop quiz, Spy emerges from hiding once Medic isn’t in earshot. He says learning German isn’t worth my time and hands me an Intro to French tape; if I try this and it works well, I should come to him for a more “sophisticated” language. (He wants to know my potential before investing the time to teach me personally.) It’s at this point when I feel the pull in multiple directions. ...This is gonna end in a fight, isn’t it.... Also sorry monsieur, but French is going to destroy my ability to read 😖. I try anyway, cuz you know.....I like to endear myself to people. ;u;
I thought for sure I’d get an offer for Scottish. I thought it was cool, but I guess Demo didn’t think it was worth learning. <:/ (Idk if he’s much of a teacher anyway so *shrugs*)

Time to continue the TF2 spam, this time thinking out loud for my s/i!
I always knew I’d be inside the whole time, totally not a fighter by nature. But I’m thinking now that I didn’t start out on the team at all at first. Maybe I was just hired to do computer work and maintenance, while the big picture of the operation stayed mostly under wraps. So I’d just be there during regular work hours at first and not really talking much to the team.
I think it was a combo of my learning too much and accidentally getting caught in the middle of a fight that forces them to get me more involved. ...Even though I hid most of the time, I was still a big help when the base got invaded....again, from my hiding place. ...Okay origins are very tricky and still WIP.
I can kinda see myself getting along more with some than others. Like,,,I don’t really have to be buds with everyone, y’know? Take Solider for instance; yeah I respect him, but...we’re kinda in different worlds... We don’t talk too much.
Same with Spy and maybe Sniper: respectful yet distant (though it’d be nice if that changes over time. Cuz I like when people like me ;u;).
I was standoff-ish with Pyro at first but he was surprisingly friendly and considerate?? I guess we’re friends??
Medic is...complicated. He can genuinely scare me at times, but there are also some things we have in common or that I can relate to. I’m still figuring out how close I wanna be to that guy, cuz I’m sometimes interested in what his doing, but I also don’t wanna accidentally become his mad science assistant >_>
I didn’t talk much to Demo at first (idk it just took longer for me to read and approach him....also we rarely run into each other anyway cuz our lifestyles and hobbies are completely different); it took longer with him, but during Expiration Date, after I had known them for a while, we actually had a heart to heart and sorta became friends.
Scout’s kinda got little bro energy to me, so I kinda became his big sister; he’s hard to keep up and deal with, but he’s got promise.
I think I won over Heavy pretty early cuz I said Sasha was beautiful and expressed actual interested in her. I am a tiny pixie compared to him, and that’s kinda lead him to be extra protective over me, and especially since I’m not a fighter. Bear Uncle.
It was the easiest to get along with Engie, due to how down to earth and friendly he was. I’m sorry my dudes, but I got a crush on him by the end of the day. But I was fine being friends with him for a long time, and it was great! We had similar jobs, working with electronics, and his level of social energy was ideal for me to also loosen up and talk a little louder. And he absolutely loved having someone like me to talk to; it was “Always a pleasure”.
I’m cutting it off here cuz this is already long. Part 2 later!
