⋆𐙚₊˚⊹ ᡣ𐭩 So, opening the website will lead you to the main page. This is filled with articles on newer fragrances, sometimes older fragrances, and is sorted by recency. If something intrigues you here, I really recommend reading the article to find the perfume it’s reviewing! There will usually be a link to the perfume somewhere within the article. (I usually just skim until I find the perfume being described lol)

𝜗𝜚 By pressing on the three lines in the top-left corner, it will lead you to a directory of different aspects and functions of fragrantica as a whole, including things like a perfume finder, notes, and the website forums.

❦. By pressing in the top right, you will be able to log in/register, if you have not made an account already. If you have made an account already, it will have a way to access your private messages, your profile, recently viewed perfumes, and a fun lil option to “perfume yourself”, which is just to show what perfume you’re currently wearing! ^.^

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹ ᡣ𐭩 As you can see, there’s a whole lot to look through!! I really recommend exploring it if you have the time to do so, just to get a level of familiarity with the website.

𝜗𝜚 (I chose yellow but I’m doing orange instead oops) This is where you’ll find a masterlist of notes, as well as descriptors of each note, sorted into categories based on scent type. (Gourmand, floral, etc.) Useful for building familiarity with scents and their descriptors, and for finding notes you didn’t think existed! (Priests robes? HUH???)

♡ྀི Searching by notes is my preferred method of finding perfume, it’s incredibly useful and fun!! ^.^ By going through there, you will be able to include and exclude notes, choose masc/fem/unisex, and be given a directory of each perfumes that fit within the parameters you have provided! I use this a lot, lol. Fantastic for finding perfumes based on characters, if you’re able to imagine notes they might wear.

❦. Perfume finder is one I don’t use very often, but it’s an honorable mention. By inputting a perfume you know you like, the algorithm will give you unbiased perfume suggestions of similar fragrances based on note makeup.

⋆𐙚₊˚⊹ ᡣ𐭩 If you have a signature fragrance, you can add it, and right beside that, you can add up to four favorite fragrances.

♡ྀི Let’s assume now that you’ve logged in, by going to your profile, you will be able to find your owned perfumes, previously had perfumes, perfumes you want, and perfumes to test out; Custom lists, which I use for character perfumes or perfume recommendations for friends (as shown by Lawrence’s fragrance list, which I have favorited so it shows up on my main profile, aka easier access for newer people to the site!); And your rated perfumes! Another fun aspect of this website is finding perfumes you’ve tested, used, smelled, whichever way you’ve used it- you can keep track of your opinions on these fragrances through the ratings of love, like, neutral, dislike, and hate.

So Jey’s whole deal is; Despite hailing from Astral World and being obligated to participate in their favor during the war ﹣ he’s actually the Son of Balance. His father, Protos, (the Heart of Astral World, as some called) was the guardian/overseer of the harmony between Chaos and Order. Before shit hit the fan in every conceivable way lmfao On top of that, Jey’s just.. a rogue and a rapscallion ahsgdhjs He never was keen on how black-&-white the war seemed, but relearning about the complete villainization of one half of a necessary energy was the final coffin nail. And that disagreeance is literally in his soul makeup! He was created in equal Chaotic Energy and Pure Energy. That balance is intermittently tied throughout him; He is meant to be the harbinger of Balance. Even Jey himself isn’t fully aware of how ingrained it is due to his own amnesia, but he does know obliterating all Chaos is not the answer, there’s something in his bones defying it. It’s a rather big plot point in his story that he starts to feel divided from the main crew because of this. Not Yuma﹣ Yuma is the only one backing Jey up at all ﹣but Astral. And it’s Astral’s rejection (spawned from the envoy's own rigid ideals and mission) that hurts Jey enough to push him out of the group for a brief period. ✨breakup arc woes✨

. . . And this is how and when Mist finds him. They make an alarming well fit duo. Their personalities mesh, and they do surprisingly? Okay? To avoid overt toxicity in their alliance? Mist doesn’t get preached at to change, or to “join a side of the war”, or be force locked in his card, so he tolerates having Jey around. And obviously Jey can’t be affected by Mist’s number influence, and he's naturally domineering enough to counteract when Mist gets too... himself lmao. Jey has a Robin Hood type of suave and charm whereas Mist acts increasingly seductive and invades people’s space because he wants to intimidate. Jey knows how to beat Mist at his own game, which both intrigues and aggravates the Number. Like two people who know one another via a friend-of-a-friend, and go on this epic journey and end up unconventionally thick as thieves like halfway through the movie. ASDFGH

Mist likes Jey’s assertiveness and darker side - the viability to resort to vicious methods and being such a rebel personality despite supposed loyalty to the world of “pure” ideals. Jey is pulled in by Mist’s unapologetic “take me or leave me” nature and his recognition of the hypocrisy regarding the war from both ends. And ofc the Number's unique brand of effortless beauty and free-bird, unaffiliated presence. Those two tend to, pretty universally, have a quick chemistry and natural connection. [ It’s also thanks to that natural connection that a certain lightbulb gets his first experiences dealing with an ‘unknown’ and green-eyed emotion. 😉 ] Also also, fun fact - if it could not already be told by these answers lol - These two are my second highest OTP, right after Goldenship (Jey x Astral /JeiAsu) ! I call them Pierceshipping. Since they have a lot of piercing qualities (particularly their affinity for bedroom-eyed stares and smirks) And because they each canonically stab someone through the chest.

But TLDR; For a lot of the same reasons already listed here, Jey and him do not get along. Can’t always do much ‘bout it tho cause that’s their technical boss, gotta play civil or else Jey and boifren don’t get as many missions together :(

Tell me three HCs you have about the Triclopses (is that the plural? idk man). These can be ones you haven't gotten to talk about yet or ones you've mentioned before but have thought more on and have more to add. How do these apply to Amita, specifically?

So I've talked about how neat I think it is that the Triclops are canonically (as canon as outside official sources are) descended from alien life. I've struggled to add more to that in a way that doesn't come off as contrived or...overpowered-ish? But hell, Saiyans are the only alien race in canon who has transformations & power-ups & history worth a damn, so why not show love for a different race that's gotten literally nothing? Here's some of what I have so far:

1) The Triclops are descendants of a race - the Selenians - who were humanoids but had many draconic affinities, mainly out of symbolism as they worshipped their own Eternal Dragon. Or rather, the "Shadow" Dragon fragments of it since those dragons saved their civilization from total collapse because of their constant in-fighting & eventual abuse of their dragon balls; which resulted in the "Shadow" Dragons being created in the first place.

I got the label Selenian from this: Selenicereus ("Selenicereus, sometimes known as moonlight cactus, is a genus of epiphytic, lithophytic, and terrestrial cacti. A number of species of Selenicereus produce fruit that is eaten. The fruit, known as pitaya or pitahaya in Spanish or as dragon fruit, may be collected from the wild or the plants may be cultivated"). It's a roundabout pun for dragon fruit and them having dragon gods basically. There's also the "selene" aspect of it that applies to them / the Tricolps in the abstract sense that they're otherworldly to Earth yet they're closely associated with it, like the moon's relation to Earth. This is part of the reason why I've added the moon as an aesthetic to Amita's kit.

2) Some remnants of their ancient culture still exist in Dagi Village (my headc Triclops' sole dominant domain since they apparently live very secluded from Earth's general population - also I got Dagi from "dagian") through their mythology, but primarily in how they have a mysterious orb that no one knows the origin of, but it's always been their greatest "sacred treasure". It's regarded as holy and villagers occasionally pray to it - Amita once having done so herself as a child.

3) The Triclops' ancestors, when they touched down on Earth, are who primarily brought the existence of ki and ki control to earthling awareness. Harnessing one's life force was like second nature to them, and through mingling & osmosis, knowledge of ki was slowly spread around the planet. Only those who both believed in it and could actually achieve it kept the art alive, which were the minority, so it's become a "paranormal" belief nowadays and isn't openly practiced. The knowledge has persisted throughout generations for the Triclops though, so children are given far greater lessons than they would find anywhere else on the planet. For this reason, Amita has a very potent degree of ki control that probably even rivals high levels like Goku's, and the strength of her ki is in fact greater than her physical body's strength (in her current canon). This has been a sharp double-edged sword for her in her life.
