Even More Quotes for Runners
Did you need more quotes in your life? No? Well, I hate to break it to you, but you’re getting a bunch. I collect quotes like how single women my age collect cats. I can’t get enough of them.
There’s something about a good thought provoking quote that can change not just your perspective, but shift it as well. It’s one thing to be inspired by a quote, but it’s a total different thing to be changed by one. Something that’s happened to me many times in my life.
In addition to keeping a database of quotes for running, I hoard quotes for inspiration and motivation — socially, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I might share some of quotes on my personal blog Josherwalla.com sometime later, but for here — this is all about running, fitness and health.
I use many of these quotes also to make into memes for the Trails & Pavement Instagram page. So make sure to follow the page for some great running related quotes and more.
Anyways, without any further adieu, here are some more running quotes …

ㅤㅤ " ACCORDING to my research, lap pillows provide a great deal of emotional comfort despite being unable to match up to the physical comfort an actual pillow may provide. Perhaps the unconditional affections accompanying the gesture is what soothes people's hearts and not to mention, it's a wonderful way to get comfortable in each other's physical space ... at least that's what I read anyways ! ㅤㅤ AH, here we go again.
ㅤㅤ While it was wonderful that Julius had someone to absolutely gush about, he was beginning to realize how often he was being subjected to just listening to Julius ramble on about his dear younger brother at least once every time they interacted. It didn't necessarily bother him but it was like an immediate switch the moment he found something to correlate Ludger with. " ... And therein lies my point. " Was all he had to say about the matter. " Still, you must receive an abundance of compliments from other people, don't you ? In what instance is it actually nice for you when considering the fact that you receive high praise wherever you go ? " It appeared to only have inflated his ego in certain instances after all. Otherwise, one would think he was far too accustomed with praise thanks to his reputation.
ㅤㅤ That aside, Theodore certainly couldn't deny with his logic here. It truly was better now then never but still, the thought of going on an outing with a friend made his heart flutter in ways he never thought would before. " I-is that so ? I'll keep those in mind. " Perhaps it would be appropriate to bring a gift of some kind and put more effort into how he'd dress. He did recall reading a novel about how to prepare for dates so perhaps he could look into that before tomorrow.
ㅤㅤ " Then ... I'll see you tomorrow ? I think I'll need some time to mentally prepare myself ... among other things. Uhm, should we meet at your place or ... ? I'm not entirely familiar with your area quite yet but if you had a place in mind then I'll try my best to find it. "

ㅤㅤTHEODORE nearly felt his breath stop when larger hands seized his own into a tender grip. The growing intimacy between them made the librarian all too aware of the fact that his familiar was no longer in the form of the endearing creature he had doted over for so long and was in fact, human before his eyes ( it made him even more self-conscious than before ).
ㅤㅤHis cheeks deepened into a faint fluster at this point and he lowered his gaze, almost unsure of how to react. However, the affirmation to the librarian's apparent nervousness would be more than enough for him to manage a sheepish smile towards Kuro ( perhaps out of guilt that there was any awkwardness in the first place ).

ㅤㅤ" ... I will admit that how I used to view you before is much different than how I see you now. I almost don't know how to act around you ... not because you've appeared before like this but ... it's just -- it's been so many years. " He slowly broke his gaze; a sign of his despondence from the years lost between them.

@glorytoclorin | closed starter. (for kuro.)
ㅤㅤ WHEN one has had all their memories deprived from them the moment they've awakened, it's always far too easy for them to close themselves off from the world. Being aware of the fact that they had no home, no connections and even no identity -- \what was there to give to others when there was nothing to give in the first place ?
ㅤㅤ It seemed unfair.
ㅤㅤ Despite everything, there was someone who appeared before him as his sole fraying thread of his memories -- his name was Kuro. This man restored the nameless one's identity; returned his name and the connection they supposedly shared between them.
ㅤㅤ Theodore Graf ... that was his name and the person who stood at his side was a close friend of his; a confidant he could confide in. Although a link was finally discovered, the memories shared with Theodore were far removed from his mind ( he couldn't recall any moment shared between them nor could he remember who this man was ). Even so, this man was the only person in the world who offered his hand for Theodore to take in a world where there was nothing but the unknown before him.
ㅤㅤ And so, Theodore willingly took his hand and allowed himself to be guided to wherever he would be led on this path.
Tumblr media
ㅤㅤ Theodore silently trailed behind Kuro as they made their way through the bustling markets; his face hooded and head lowered as he couldn't fathom the idea of meeting anyone's eyes. This was his first time strolling through a market and truthfully, it was becoming quite overwhelming. He found himself slowly reaching out to grasp onto the hem of Kuro's sleeve, perhaps to signal that he couldn't handle being in such a busy place for the first time.
ㅤㅤ " K ... Kuro. " His name came clumsily off his tongue ( it still felt so painfully unfamiliar ). " ... Are we almost there ? " He couldn't help but ask, hoping they've almost made it to their destination.
