OKAY! My mom's apple chocolate chip cake recipe, tweaked a bit because what's a family recipe if you don't change it a smidge every generation.

The measurements are in volume, much to me everlasting frustration, but it's pretty forgiving nonetheless!

1/2 to 1 Cup of neutral oil 5 eggs 1 + 1/2 Tsp cinnamon 1 package of chocolate chips (12oz or more, preferably semi-sweet) 2 Cups of self-rising flour 1/2 Cup brown sugar 1 + 1/2 Cup regular sugar 5 Apples (I'd suggest a sweeter profile rather than a more sour one, but really the chocolate chips balance most things out)

In a big bowl, mix the oil, eggs, apples, sugar, and cinnamon.

Today's polish comes with a bonus picture of my cat Caleb's nose to celebrate 200 daily posts!!!! 😁🥳🎉🎈🎊 He's always bumping his head into my hands while I paint my nails, getting cat hair all over EVERYTHING. 😂 Anyway this polish is another one that reminds me of glittery, sparkling water and I really love it. I think it could also work as an Elsa polish too if you're more into that vibe, especially when it's matte. Either way, I will definitely be wearing this one again in the not too distant future.
