withfinder general: any last words, witch?
aziraphale, tied to the stake: this is all a misunderstanding
witchfinder general: *lights the stake*
aziraphale, extinguishes the flames via miracle: oh, dear. won't someone come to my aid
witchfinder general: shut up witch *lights the stake again*
aziraphale, extinguishes the flames via miracle: *louder* I am in Trouble here!
witchfinder general: what is this witchcraft? *lights the stake again*
aziraphale, extinguishes the flames via miracle, bored: any moment now...
crowley, hurrying over, breathless: witchfinder general. you have to leave. you house is on fire
witchfinder, confused: who are you? what is-
crowley, snaps his fingers: you go away and not bother anymore innocent women
witchfinder general: *obediently wanders off*
crowley: *miracles aziraphale free and helps her off the stake*
aziraphale, pouting: you took your time
crowley, sighs: I got lost
aziraphale, smiles: well, it doesn't matter. you rescued me *holds his hand* my brave hero
crowley: *pleased*

S1e6 'you can stay at my place if you like' vs s2 Crowley not even telling Aziraphale he lives in his car. what the fuck happened between these two moments? well, Crowley (in Aziraphale's body) went to heaven and got traumatized by Gabriel and was probably scared shitless that they would harm Aziraphale if they would literally be living together

Can only make messy pen doodles at work at the moment, but wanted to show appreciation in some way for all the love y’all have been giving/given Oaken!
Honestly wasn’t expecting people to like him for various reasons, so it does mean a lot to me that some are so enthusiastic about him!
Once again, thank y’all so so much!!

can we talk about how protective crowley was this season? "your former boss, who tried very hard to cast you into hellfire and DESTROY you. he's NOT our friend". getting SO angry that he actually shot LIGHTING FROM HIS BODY at the thought that aziraphale would be in danger bc of gabriel. being suddenly interested in what beelzebub had to say when they mentioned whoever hid gabriel would be in danger. willing to be erased from the book of life for helping aziraphale cause they weren't just about to leave him on his own. "no no no aziraphale what have you done". after learning that az is in danger, immediately going to apologize and help him and even doing a miracle to hide jim despite the trouble she could be in with hell. IMMEDIATELY jumping on the idea of making nina fall for maggie to protect aziraphale and keep his lie safe. "if any harm comes to aziraphale because of this i will–". "i do remember, oh very clearly, the look on your face, archangel gabriel, when you told my only friend to shut his stupid mouth and DIE. and i did. not. care. for. it." "i'm coming back, i won't leave you here on your own". actually going to HEAVEN for aziraphale. like, she really did go all out, cards on the table, heart on the sleeve this season, huh?

aziraphale, sitting around in manmade shackles awaiting his beheading for an unknown period of time while wearing head to toe haute couture, putting on his very best damsel in distress routine, proceeding to lie his holy ass off about not knowing it was the height of the french revolution and i can’t possibly save myself too many frivolous miracles woe is me. all of this just so he could invite crowley out on a lunch date for authentic crêpes and immediately perform a said frivolous miracle to change clothes.

This is a classic, "Come rescue me" look from our dearest angel. Whereas, Crowley's (our beloved demon) like- "Coming sweety".

Maybe the reason Crowley didn't tell Aziraphale about Heaven's plans during the confession is because when Aziraphale told Crowley about God's plans it sparked the whole 'why not put a suggestion box' conversation and it was ultimately the reason he fell. he didn't want Aziraphale to fall too so he didn't say anything even though it tore them apart, because if he told Aziraphale, it maybe wouldn't tear them apart, but he would condemn Aziraphale to a life as a demon and we all know how much Crowley hates that, and how much Aziraphale would hate that 'you wouldn't like that'. what if Crowley was trying to save Aziraphale all along

the funniest plot twist in s2 is the confirmation that aziraphale wasn't actually oblivious in the slightest all this time
