@magic-clown Ask
Kim smiled as she glanced over at him. Today she was on a stepladder, reaching up and painting some higher graffiti. The cover was going to be a sea of stars on a black background, with a comet flying through it. A guard stood at each side of the alley, and Nikolai hadn’t been able to approach her without one of them asking her first.
“Because, I thought your company would be nice. Was that wrong of me?”

Watching Bungou Stray Dogs and seeing the wild shit that happens in Yokohama every single day made me realise that it's the Gotham of the BSD verse. Imagine being late to work cos a dragon attacked your city or missing your train cos a building got blown up by a Victorian looking dude who's apparently mafia or your fucking math teacher being declared a terrorist on national television along with the craziest and most attractive group of people you've ever seen, one of whom you're certain is the farmboy who you swear you've seen carry an entire cow over his head once.
So yeah, Gotham = Yokohama
Just less Goth and more Homo.

User effects: Haru can identify what living object is, its size, and it’s position relative to his current position. However, Haru cannot see things such as walls, doors, and ect. through his ability, thus needing to obtain building layouts or blueprints for more knowledge. The effect of using Blind Sickness results in the inability for Haru to see with his own eyesight while his ability is active. ◜Reference: All He Saw Was The Girl by. Peter Leonard ◜Occupation: Student / works part time in a video game store ◜Affiliation: None
Extra Facts:
Moved from Kyoto to Yokohama with his family at the age of 9.
After getting into a pretty nasty argument with his father, Haru decided to move into the guest room of his sister’s 2 bedroom apartment.
On the subject of his sister: Haru does not know that Kaede works as an assassin in the Port Mafia. While he does suspect something is off about his older sister, he does not know what it exactly is.
Is currently in university on a athletic scholarship to study sports medicine
While Haru isn’t the best at fighting like his sister is, he does have better social skills than her, usually being described as social butterfly to most people. His kind and friendly demeanor can get almost anyone to open up to him with ease.
Haru can cook and is pretty decent at it. In fact, he does some of the cooking during the weekends when he doesn’t have classes. He can get pretty distracted at times, resulting in him accidentally burning the food.

//Haitham's bio/verses/what not:
Biography:
Born in Sumeru he grew up in the land of scholars. He was a child prodigy and no one had ultimately been surprised when he took well to learning in the Akademia, and even fewer when he quickly rose through the ranks to become the Grand Scribe who’s intelligence was only matched by his cold pragmatism.
In fact he become known so well for both things that many were surprised when he opened up his home to his senior Kaveh, for they were black and white. Day and night.
That said it was expected that before long their intense arguments became legendary.
Tumblr media
Character Notes:
➢ Alhaitham is the reincarnation of King Deshret. He has no memories of his past life and probably would have no idea until after he came in contact with the Divine Knowledge capsule during the plan to usurp the Akademia and save the Dendro Archon.
➢ After coming into contact with the Divine Knowledge Capsule, despite all the safe guards he put in place, the Divine Knowledge capsule did have alot more consequences that he was not expecting: he began to have recurring nightmares that were memories from his past life, frequently got mild migraines among other things that were far less frequent. He blamed it all one ill effects and tried not to think much of it though he swore something about him had changed.
Tumblr media
Verses:
Main Verse. V; The Curse Of Knowledge (Main Verse)
This verse follows the main canon.
➢ Subverse - V; I DID NOT ASK TO BE A GOD (Canon Div. Subverse) //
Responsibility had never been kind to the Grand Scribe, it was no shock that the Akademia had tricked him into becoming the Grand Sage by pretending that it was just temporary but what he hadn’t expected was that the strange visions that had haunted him in the night time hours turned from night terrors turn into daily hallucinations.
At some point he lost himself in his suffering, prefering to disappear as he used his moments of lucidity to figure out what was going on. Eventually he realized that he was the reincarnation of the Scarlet King. Lost he struggled to come to terms and in a rare moment of terror he struggled to come to terms with it.
➢ Subverse - And Once There Stood A King (Past Life Verse)
TBA
Bungo Stray Dogs Verse. V; What Is A God To A Nonbeliever (BSD Verse)
Follows along the lines of his ‘I DID NOT ASK TO BE A GOD’ verse, during his searching for answers of what he could do he took a note from the traveler and eventually learned how to go to different worlds, leaving a world that no longer felt welcome to him as the Grand Scribe or the Scarlet King behind.
Somehow in his confused haze of traveling where time passed in strange increments he eventually ended up in Yokohama and decided to settle there for now in hopes of figuring out what he could do. During such time he eventually ended up running a bookstore near the Detective Agency.
While running his bookstore he continues to wear his vision despite the fact he has no use for it anymore but has long since hung up his sword, keeping it hanging up on the wall behind the checkout counter and telling people it was a well kept family heirloom.

Venti’s BSD Verse -: Basically linking him with my OC Kyran - he was an experiment that Kyran shifted to a few years after Chuuya blew up his last lab. He used to be a rather weak boy, an orphan to the war like many others, naturally curious about the world around him - until one fateful day he decided to flee, ending up being discovered by Kyran - a saviour that quickly turned into his worst nightmare. Although rather frail of build, he showed the ability of being able to control the wind - nothing more than directing a gentle breeze or causing a few leafs to lift into the air, but more than enough to capture Kyran’s attention, the scientist taking the small frail figure to a new lab and beginning his research all over again. It took a few years, but eventually the essence of Venti and Barbatos were merged into the one being, the essence of the God helping to strengthen the boy’s frail body and unlike Arahabki, he found friendship with this fragile being who simply wished to be free to explore the world. Using the power from the God, Venti was able to escape from the lab and into the outside world, choosing to live on the streets with the guidance of the God. They often switch between their separate personalities as needed, but Barbatos’ full power can never be used as it places too much strain on Venti’s body.
Now, he lives on the streets of Yokohama, living the life as a musician and artist and ending up in a small apartment with three stray cats that seem to keep coming home with him despite how allergic he happens to be to felines. He likes to help people and despite his rough beginnings tends to be rather trustful and helpful to those around him.

BSD Verse
I will have 2 Verses for this fandom, a general, modern-day verse for him, and another one made with @iactito! Unless mentioned otherwise, my go-to will be the modern adaptation of Luca verse.
Verse 1 - Modern-Day Inventor
Luca Balsa was born and raised in the UK, Luca Balsa was a diamond in the rough. Coming into the science world with high marks in his education (graduated early), a degree in mechanical engineering in 4 years, and immediately started working with a world-renown traveling inventor. He gained his own fame with his inventions as well, letting his love of science and creative ideas grow even more.
However, due to an incident in the lab, it left Luca hospitalized and accused of murder as the mentor was found dead. Accused of murder, Luca spent a few months in jail awaiting trial and had been found guilty of second degree murder, despite evidence that he may not have been the one who killed him. That instead, it was a freak accident.
It wasn’t long until he was called into court once more, but this time with surprising news. He had been acquitted of all charges and become a free man by new evidence by some anonymous group. Yet, with as much backlash of the news and threats on his own life, he leaves Europe and seeks refuge in Japan. Though he has only some skill in Japanese starting out, he eventually adopted the language entirely after a year. He does have bad moments where he can’t quite translate well (both saying what he wants and hearing what others are saying) and it often leads to a lot of frustration.
Recently he has obtained a letter, inviting him to a special event that guarantees any wish could be fufilled, should he win... he debates if he should go, or remain in Japan where he can reclaim his fame there.
Ability - The Prisoner of Cell 25 - Luca’s body composition is different than the average human. Able to collect charges through various things (whether through collective static electricity or direct flow of electricity into his body), Luca and use them as a way to discharge and stun his enemies. Luca can discharge his ability in a radius, or directed at someone or something. He can also charge electronics.
Note: Post-Incident, Luca does not realize he has this ability. Thus he is constantly charged up and may be occasionally seen with a sudden streak of blue lightning coursing around him, or he may shock others.
Verse 2 - The Century Old Man
Plotted with Dani’s BSD Verse Renji, Luca goes through the same history as he does with canon... but with a twist.
Upon entering the manor, the world seemingly goes dark and the next thing he knows... he finds himself in PRESENT-DAY YOKOHAMA, where he wakes up to meeting Renji Satou and ultimately stays with him throughout this verse.
He currently is learning the futuristic world and is currently making some headway into adjusting himself to this life. It’s rather difficult, but that doesn’t stop Luca from investigating the city. He doesn’t quite understand what brought him here, nor if he could ever go back, so he does try to continue his work of his invention (even if it may have already been made at this point). In the meantime, to earn money, he works with Kai Satou, owner of a restaurant in which Luca helps repair machines and learn more about the 21st century mechanics.
He is also capable of an ability, though it is completely forgotten on Luca’s part. Should there be such a situation where he’s in danger... perhaps his ability will unlock...
Additionally, Rumors begin to circulate of his existence, which may bring attention to individuals... searching to pick at his mind for history or his biology... considering he should be over 100 years old... yet he is as young as any other 20 year old.

waiting for godot - 🔬 / 🎵 / 🎁 - because damn, i still have feelings! also, right back at you: HOW DO YOU DO IT OMFG?
Ah!!! LOL it’s the one (1) fic I have finished for BSD, everything else is a disaster. I do it with an intense focus on shoving as many layers of symbolism and angst as I can fit into this bad boy!! <3 <3 <3
Fandom: Bungou Stray Dogs
Fic: Waiting for Godot
"It must be killing you," Dazai smiles, "not being able to decide whether we are alive and in a world where you wrote in the Book, not knowing it would interpret your vision as a request to erase all of humanity, or whether we are both dead, and somehow, we are each other's personal Hell."
🔬- Was there one scene you were building up to/knew you had to get just right?
I was both struggling and looking forward to making Dazai and Beckett interact in the second chapter. WFG used comparisons and contrasts as the underlying concept, so Dostoyevsky represents what Dazai could have been and is the opposite of what Dazai is now. Beckett, however, exists as a kindred spirit for Dazai. I got the vibe from all of my reading and Wikipedia research that his character in the BSD ‘verse would be someone who was also on this path to redemption (possibly someone who was in the Great War, but I digress). He’s a bit further along than Dazai, but I think he hit a slump before the events of the fic. I really wanted to get it right and I wanted to continue that theme of parallels, which is why I spent some time thinking about the mechanics of both of their abilities. Beckett’s is weird, a bit like Lovecraft’s, so that’s my *jazz hands* explanation for it. I wanted to end the fic with two kindred spirits going separately on their own ‘roads’ to redemption.
🎵- Did you have a playlist/piece of music that went with this story?
So, I looked back at my YouTube logs from the day I wrote the first chapter. I spent most of my time listening to CrashCourse philosophy (the Existentialism video, in particular) and I also listened to/watched a lot of videos on Waiting for Godot itself and Samuel Beckett. But, I do have two songs that go with this: “Weight of the World” and “Dear Fellow Traveler”, for the first and the second chapters respectively.
“Weight of the World” is a hypocrite’s song. It’s throwing the blame for a person’s actions at “well, that’s just how the world is” but also acknowledging that everyone will be the weak and the weary some time. People use the weight of the world as an excuse for their actions. Also, the line, “the long-forgotten have a habit of collecting loans,” just...strikes at me, for WFG. And for Dostoyevsky and his, “I was justified in every decision that I made.”
“Dear Fellow Traveler” is a bit more light and I just interpreted it as two travelers wishing each other well on the road. And with Dazai and Chuuya having gained a bit more understanding, and Dazai’s conversation with Beckett, it felt right and reminiscent enough. “And I returned to my beautiful city. Black skies change into blue,” is the peace of returning to Yokohama after the big bad threat is ‘dealt with,’ and the two parallel’d characters of Dazai and Beckett thinking of the kindred spirit that’s out there, in a way, as they continue their journeys. It’s mostly Beckett’s theme song, now that I think about it.
🎁- Any writing advice for people who want to write something like this?
This was a philosophy fic that I started with no direction other than making Dazai and Dostoyevsky have a conversation on a road, based solely off of being two minutes into this video. I just got a vibe, and then I delved into research, which helped inform my decisions when I wrote it. I’m always looking for more media that vibes with me so I can consume it. When I write, I’m constantly evaluating both the emotions of the scene and the symbols that I use. I had to think about this fic in two layers, because Dazai and Dostoyevsky are so intelligent that I had to think of the surface and then the underlying meaning, and I was thinking of how cryptic their chess match looks in the current arc.
So, what I’d suggest is letting yourself write to the vibe of your scene, if that makes sense. I follow the emotional threads and how a person’s thoughts would flow when I write, letting myself get immersed in the scene.
I also had a lot of broad concepts: parallels, deicide, redemption, and I suppose what I’d call ‘forces that you can’t control.’ For each of those concepts, I tried to tie a person or object to them.
Parallels: I just made sure I had the characters who I thought were good comparisons interact with each other strongly (Dazai & Dostoyevsky, Dazai & Chuuya, Dazai & Beckett, Atsushi & Akutagawa), and also tried to subtly do comparisons in the prose.
Deicide: it got lampshaded pretty heavily with Dostoyevsky talking about Chuuya, but it was also the entire underlying vibe of the fic. Dostoyevsky’s plan to rid the world of abilities is pretty Godlike. I think there’s a good piece of meta out there about Dostoyevsky and his whole God/Devil motif. So, by letting him get eaten stranding him on the road, narratively speaking, that was a deicide.
Redemption: that was much easier. I just tied the road to it a lot, the actual one in the fic. Dazai was literally standing on the road to redemption. Also, I was thinking just a bit about the road being morality and the grass being immorality. Y’know, the untamed grass, unchecked/nonexistent morals. Roads have rules, yadda yadda. You’re bound to morals.
Forces that can’t be controlled: I just did the concept of hunger and tied it to how Dazai and Beckett’s abilities worked. Cause you can’t control hunger, and...you’re not you when you’re hungry XD. And I kept that feeling of...some forces in the world, you can’t control, and that’s okay. It’s all about how you react to them. The world is senseless, but you’re the master of your fate, captain of your soul and such. Existentialism, yo. Make your own meaning in life out of the nonsense.
I suggest thinking of themes and what digs at the core of the character, and then figuring out how you want to try to display that with symbolism, metaphors, and their interactions. This was less of a ship-fic and more of a philosophical exploration for me, so I was very selective with the words and descriptions I used in order to achieve that effect. I do the horrible thing where I edit as I write, and then I just upload ASAP, because I can’t just put something down and come back to it later, that’s excruciating for my writing process.
TLDR; expose yourself to random things and look for what you enjoy in media; write to the emotional vibe of a scene; and figure out your broad concepts and associate symbols with them, in addition to making sure the narrative itself reinforces them. Think of the overall message you want to deliver with what you’re writing. Also research, lots of that.
.
Pheww...I always love getting to do fic discussions and analysis! Thank you so much, Dani!!! I hope that this answers the q’s and is entertaining to read through for everyone.

BSD! Linkette
Tumblr media
A bit of information for Linkette’s BSD verse!!
Linkette is a member of the Armed Detective Agency.
She started out the same. Born in a small town out in the country of Japan and lived with her parents and younger sister. She saw her parents slaughtered by an ability user and swore to kill him for killing her parents. She chased him down and learned of her ability (explained later) as well as found most of the masks she uses for her ability. She soon confronted the man and kept her word, killing him. She was twelve. That haunted her for the rest of her life and she vowed never again to take someone’s life. And she learned that she wanted to be a hero and protect people with her power instead of hurting them like she did to kill the ability user. So, she moved to Yokohama and joined the ADA.
small town girl in a big city XDD
Holds similar ideals as Kuni in the sense that she refuses to kill anyone and will not let anyone die on any case she handles.
Her younger sister is studying abroad in Europe, but they had originally moved to Yokohama together.
Linkette’s 24 in this verse
Okay, ability time. Her ability name is “Majora’s Mask”. Linkette carries various masks with her at all times, all of them have different effects on her. Some make her run faster and jump higher, some will keep her from falling asleep, some explode, some make her seem like a stone, and she has tons more. She also has three masks that completely reconstruct her body. Her Kusa mask allows her to turn into a creature made of wood that can shoot seeds, glide with a flower, and walk on water. Her Mizu mask turns her into a half human, half fish creature so she can breathe under water, use fins as boomerangs, and create an electric force field. Finally, her Iwa mask allows her to turn into a creature made of rocks which makes her almost indestructible, able to curl up into a rock and roll at high speeds, and largely increases her strength.
There is one more Transformation mask Linkette carries with her called the Deity mask, but she doesn’t let anyone know about this one. This one  turns her into a god-like strength and power, much like Corruption. However, this state doesn’t kill her—but it does severely harm her—but it’s still far too much power. This is the mask she wore when she killed her parents’ murderer. However, she has absolutely no control over her actions in that state and so she hasn’t touched it since that day. Still, she keeps hold of it. She knows Dazai could probably keep her from going insane in that state, but she still refuses to let anyone know about it. Inner demons stuff.

((Since Eli is taking over so far... Here’s bit about his BSD verse, before I actually make an about))
Ability:
From birds’ point of view - ability allows him to see world from eyes’ of his trusted owl and see visions of the future. Visions can be forced yet sometimes they appear unexpected, temporarly stunning him.
Backstory:
Due to unfortunate incident at age of 11, Eli became blind, initially labeled as a probably lost cause, as there was no way to save it. Since then he was able to see various visions, or at least notice them as there wasn’t a thing he could see besides that, which usually became true sooner or later.     Everything changed when despite the struggle of blindness he managed to find small, bruised owl and took care of it, even if it meant additional struggle for him and his family. After owl got back to health, one day he woke up, seeing another vision. Yet it felt wrong when it didn’t go away, trying to get around what was he seeing, just to realise he wasn’t anything more than just a watcher and something else was controlling what he was seeing. And it was only more alarming when he saw himself in bed. Though the sight slighty jumped and owl hooting made him realise it wasn’t something he was seeing. That’s how his companion was usually welcoming him, he was already used to this sound and reassured him it wasn’t a vision.     Despite the initial struggle to get used to someone’s else point of view, it was better than not being able to see at all and soon was able to get around with this, making life bit better for his family.     Still despite what he was capable of, he couldn’t help financial situation of family as a seer, nor couldn’t really get another job that wouldn’t mind an owl around, Eli decided to escape under the cover of night, trying to be less of the burden. With that he somehow ended up in Yokohama, soon place becoming his place of stay.
At the time being he’s usually wandering through Yokohama, working as a seer, yet he’s willing to gather actual informations for bigger amount of money.

Hi! Since D.Va has been migrated from her solo blog and I have a lot of BSD mutuals on here, please (if you want to) give her BSD verse a read beneath the cut for your convenience!! I honestly use it way more than her main verse and I’d love to use it with people other than just Kit and Paris! Do note it’s long though!
Japan-Korea Alliance And Context:
The Japanese Ministry is extremely weak and fickle when it comes to maintaining solid relationships in the foreign affairs department. Of course, this is by no fault of the ministry themselves. Taking a look at the events in canon regarding Agatha Christie’s role in Dead Apple along with the Guild’s entire existence naturally points one to this conclusion. So what possibilities of friendly relations are left to keep harmonious balance with and fall on in the case of a countrywide emergency in Japan? Well, there’s always the Asian countries, of course! But specifically, we will be looking at South Korea!
The two countries’ relationship in the past couldn’t have been described better than the word “sour”. There was always some sort of internal fussing. This was quick to get settled upon the realization that they both had some exceptionally talented ability holders in their presence. A treaty was soon formed between the countries, and from there, things were smooth sailing.
This will become relevant again below. Please keep on reading!
Ability Users in Korea:
There aren’t very many ability users in South Korea in the first place, which is precisely why a good chunk of those who ARE have been recorded down for reference in their classified government documents. The government doesn’t monitor the activity of these noted ability holders, however, unless they are suspected of causing issues of some kind, or there is an emergency where they may need the aid of said ability users. The few ability users in the country usually have some sort of high-class government job or are living a life or normalcy as their abilities aren’t all that special.
Hana & MEKA:
Hana’s backstory is very similar to what I have written in her about page. One difference is that instead of a colossal omnic ravaging Korea, it is an extremely disastrous ability taking the form of a colossal, multiheaded sea serpent that continues to reap havoc on the country and adapts to each attack the country dishes on it. A very similar concept, just an ability is the cause instead of an omnic. Think of Lovecraft’s Eldritch Tentacle Monster state, but way more devastating. There are also other multitudes of abilities attacking the country, but comparatively, are much minor.
Hana grew up in this environment as best as she could. Hana was one of the special people in Korea who was born with their ability- however, the main aspect of her ability didn’t really prove to be useful for anything other than a simple party trick at first: the ability to call a high-tech mech. Obviously, no one is immediately going to know how to pilot a mech, and she really had no intention of learning any time soon. At the time, it was an entirely impractical and unnecessary ability to have. She progresses the same as written in her about, cruising right into fame as she cultivated her talent of being a gamer and a successful, professional champion at that.
The struggle against the Sea Serpent proceeds to go on. The Korean Army simply cannot keep up with their advances to attack it; it’s only getting more and more resilient. The technology and weapons they have eventually prove useless.
The Korean Government proceeds to keep their eyes on Hana, along with four other special individuals who also have an ability to call up advanced mechs. By some sort of miraculous coincidence, all these individuals have taken the gaming world by storm, notable for their extreme efficiency. quick thinking, and fast reflexes. Out of desperation and seeing the brimming potential of these professional gamers as the Sea Serpent continued to attack the country, the government calls for the five individuals to enlist in the army. From there, they create a special squadron for them, called MEKA, where they quickly teach them how to properly pilot and maneuver their mechs, along with ability holders in the army teaching them how to synchronize with them on a level of sentience so the mechs can act on their own. Each MEKA member is quick to adapt and take to the battlefield, eventually overcoming the Sea Serpent ability itself and tracking down the ability holder who was orchestrating the entire ordeal for years.
Tumblr media
After the instance, they do not only get national attention but global attention as well. The MEKA unit immediately gets thrown into even more fame than they had prior to joining the army, being under the glimmering spotlight of the country on a near-daily basis. They saved the entire country, after all, while they were all quite young! Hana claims to fame being the star and posterchild of Korea, standing out from her peers for always being able to save the day when the others were in danger, having an infectious personality, and simply being her heroic, strategetic self. Her face can be seen plastered just about everywhere in Korea. Her fanbase that had already been expanded globally due to her gaming achievements was then multiplied tenfold after her war efforts. As if the reputation she had as a star gamer wasn’t enough!
Tumblr media
MEKA Takes Yokohama:
Tumblr media
South Korea sends MEKA to Yokohama to flex on them because of how amazing their beloved ability holders are and can actually control what the hell is going on in their country
No, but really, that IS kind of what ends up happening.
Just as MEKA’s successes reach international levels of coverage and fame, Yokohama’s constant turmoil in their city reaches the news of Korea, too - ESPECIALLY when the incident with the Guild, along with Shibusawa’s bullshit occurs.
Due to their treaty, as well as feeling compelled by bragging rights and bits of pity, the Korean government decides they’re going to be very nice and send the best of the best ability holders to Yokohama to help get their city back in order before they self-implode on themselves. MEKA takes to the city of Yokohama, and are now currently hanging around here and there in case they’re needed. They consult with the Japanese Ministry often, specifically the Special Abilities Division. (If you RP a character like Ango, Taneda, or Tsujimura, definitely feel free to message me about hashing out the specifics!)
Otherwise, MEKA is just straight chilling in Yokohama unless they’ve gotta get involved to stop some sort of conflict.
Abilities:
First off, just note that Hana is a trained soldier so her normal combat abilities are pretty sharp. She has a gun, she can kick your ass to oblivion, stuff like that. Don’t try any shit if she’s not bothering to use her abilities because she can DEFINITELY handle herself without it in a simple spar match. But her abilities are also incredibly powerful. It takes a lot to be able to save an entire country, after all! But no worries, much to Hana’s probable displeasure, I will make sure I don’t godmod with her and nerf her accordingly when needed.
TOKKI MECH:
Hana is able to call her mech Tokki and it retains all the abilities which are listed on the very end of Hana’s about page. Not only can Hana pilot it manually, but it is also able to fight on its own by her side with sentience. Similar to Demon Snow, a Jojo Stand, and Makoto Nijima’s motorcycle. Just for reference. :) The mech CAN be worn down and destroyed, but it is incredibly hard to do so unless there is some major damage being dealt to it.
Tumblr media
* APM SURGE:
This ability causes the speed and power of her attacks to drastically increase, whether that be in regard to Hana’s own attacks or her mech. It can only be used for a certain amount of time before it needs to cooldown. The cooldown usually lasts for three minutes. The ability can also be disrupted if you interrupt Hana in the middle of an attack before she or her mech is able to land their blow or throw her or her mech off balance.
* Note: APM is a term used in real-time strategy and fighting games which refers to the total number of actions that a player can perform in a minute.
there’s probably gonna be another sub ability here but rn im blanking and this is all i got please forgive me :’)

@clown-demon the next chapter of Himawari and Fyodor’s acquaintance -
It took three months and four days for Himawari to use her phone call. She peered out the window from her second floor bedroom, at 2:35am, frowning as she looked at the 4 to 5 men gathering out front. She knew two of them were ability users, unaffiliated, however, they were still wanted criminals.
“Hello, is this Mr. Fyodor? I’m sorry to bother you so late but this is Himawari Kobayashi from Sundial Floral Bakery, and I’m in a bit of a pickle. I think they’re - no they’ve destroyed the front door. They’re breaking into my shop. Can you arrange for discreet body removal here in 30 minutes or so?”
She sounded relatively unbothered, though, a bit annoyed and tired at the hour.

Age: 21
Originally came to Yokohama to study and find inspiration for her literary work. Employee at a certain cafe; Unbeknownst to her the same one the Detective Agency has been known to frequent. On her time off, she can often be caught at a table with her laptop and a cup of coffee.
She is acquainted with a number of the ADA, but doesn’t really hear much about their escapades. She chats with them if anyone speaks to her, and despite finding him to be a close friend, she tends to end up bopping Dazai over the head when he “flirts” with her coworkers.
Occasionally goes for a drink after particularly frustrating days, and has met Chuuya on more than one occasion when she does. They’ve since spoken more outside of bars, and despite butting heads sometimes she is fond of him. She’s not aware he’s with the Port Mafia, but has seen him use his ability before. She refuses to let him live down how he acts while drunk.
She has no ability, but can defend herself well enough.
Yeets a rather sketch-y reference at. Fun fact, her outfit for this verse is based on an older one I had for her.

Linkette BSD verse info:
She holds similar ideals as Kuni in the sense that she refuses to kill anyone and will not let anyone die on any case she handles.

❝ oooh, getting nosey. getting personal. ❞
“Do you fucking mind?”
Briar glared at the clown looking person, pulling her phone close to her chest. She’d stopped by a fountain to check if she had any messages; and someone seemed too close for comfort. It was confusing how he got so close without her noticing too, probably an ability user.
“It’s super rude to look over someone’s shoulder at what they’re doing.”

"Being good is too hard, don't you just want to be bad sometimes?"
The young lady looked over her shoulder at the man who spoke, a little confused by the question. “Well, if I don’t choose to be good, then we’ll have too many bad people in the world. It’s hard work being a good person, but I like it.” Kim smiled, rolling back down her sleeves after she washed up. She was doing some painting, having been helping cover up some cruel graffiti with a lovely painting of a rainbow.
“The world is too mean as is, I’d rather be nice.”

@pack-of-stray-dogs Plotted Starter!
It was unfortunate that the ability user she was hunting down came to this port city. Tokyo was her element, her focus, and where she’d been trained on eliminating ability users who had bounties on their heads. She didn’t do it for the bounty, she did it because it was her job, as an assassin.
Briar had been warned by one of the higher ups that she needed to check in with the Port Mafia before she killed anyone, in case they were on their target list. Except, she didn’t listen, and took on a job as an independent contractor in the city.
So now here she was, 3 hours after being ambushed in her hotel room, having gotten three clean swipes with a pocket knife on three different legs. Blindfolded, arms tied behind a chair, awaiting the best hospitality the Port Mafia had to offer.
Briar knew, she fucked up.
