Iranians have been in the streets all over Iran since then. They are protesting, women burning their headscarves and wanting regime change. It's a revolution. And the regime is shooting at people and killing them. They blocked Instagram and WhatsApp last night. The only remaining available social media apps that you could use without a VPN. They're also shutting down Internet so the world doesn't know about their atrocities.

So please be our voice. We need global support more than ever. Don't let your politicians and governments normalize this inhuman, criminal and terrorist regime and the negotiations with them. Islamic Republic don't represent Iranians. They are fighting with us and murdering us. Please reblog this and be our voice.

Since her death the country has exploded in rebellion with riotous protests breaking out in cities across Iran, especially in the South East Kurdish region.

This child's traumatic story is one of the most painful crimes going on in Iran right now. She was sixteen! Her ID was with her when they arrested her, so they knew her age.

After her phone had been turned off, her WhatsApp, Instagram, and Telegram accounts were deactivated. Before that, she called her friend and said they were chasing me! The passwords were obviously taken from Nika. She was missing for 10 days! What did they do to this child?

Before handing her body over, her family went to Kahrizak three times without finding her.

Days later, her body was handed over to her family. Nika's nose was smashed, and her skull pounded.

At her funeral, which was on the same day as her birthday, her body was kidnapped by IRGC and buried in a remote place! Her aunt and uncle were arrested as well and threatened to keep silent or we would kill you!

This is a video from Mashhad, which has historically been considered a religious stronghold in Iran. But videos have come out showing support for Mahsa and women’s rights in Iran. 13 years ago this was unthinkable. 

In every corner of Iran, women are bravely fighting the systemic oppression of women in Iran. If you care about feminism and women’s rights, if you care about human rights, spread the word.
