PHYSICAL INSTRUMENT- No. No, no, no no no. We are not focusing on this any longer. This "gender" nonsense stops here!

VOLITION- It'll be good to have the thought cleared. It leaves room for another one to be made.

HALF-LIGHT- Shh! Don't even think about it!

COMPOSURE- It's hard not to, now that it's become a project. It's going on to be on our mind until it's come to its natural conclusion.

PAIN THRESHOLD- It could be good to know.

PHYSICAL INSTRUMENT- Not you, too! What is this prissy shit?

HALF-LIGHT- STOP! NOW! SHE'S ALMOST-

LEOPARD-PRINT BODYSUIT- Privet.

HALF-LIGHT- Grrrrgh! Rrrr! Back off! I knew it, I knew this had to be your fault!

PHYSICAL INSTRUMENT- It's you! The fruit suit! This is all because he wore you!

LEOPARD-PRINT BODYSUIT- Me? I didn't do anything, you know. He's always been this kind of animal.

LOGIC- She's right. Harry's always had... off-color thoughts about who he was. The suit just awakened them again.

VOLITION- They're harder to supress while he's actively wearing it.

PHYSICAL INSTRUMENT- I don't care what favors you do in making Harry's ass look shapely. Scram before you turn him into one of those cross-gender pansies!

HALF-LIGHT- Bark bark bark bark!

LEOPARD-PRINT BODYSUIT- I can come off. The feelings can't.

PHYSICAL INSTRUMENT- I won't have you making him into a girly-boy.

PHYSICAL INSTRUMENT- I'm not letting Harry turn into some kind of lady-dresser-

COMPOSURE- It won't be all lady, all the time. We still feel pretty masculine.

LOGIC- And, logically, if we can become more female, we can become more male too.

PHYSICAL INSTRUMENT- ...More male? I thought we were already the most male.

LOGIC- Maybe we can become even male-er. Who's to say?

THOUGHT PROJECT COMPLETION IMMINENT GENDER? I HARDLY KNOW 'ER!

Who are you? Who are you? You are a clique of voices, a caucus, a camp. Unbound by space and time. All of them are different from each other, and you are different from everyone else. If they are them, then who are you?

The answer- who knows? Let's just cover every base and say yes. Who is going to stop you? You are the law. And you have other things to think about- like everyone else's gender identity. Quick. Let's go and ask Kim what's going on with him.

i think I'll have to get back to it once assessment time is over. kim kitsuragi going to a shooting range with miss pauling and having pleasant conversation as queer glasses-wearing sharpshooters until he finds out her "administrator's assistant" job involves burying bodies. titus hardie and heavy big-guy-to-big-guy telepathic communication. harry du bois and soldier in-depth bear-wrestling convo turned violent brawl over communism. zhanna and kim mildly heated argument afterwards with both sides arguing THEIR man would win in a bear-wrestling contest. lilienne giving harry the eyelander after the Date. the possibilities are endless...

what are you guys called? like, as a group? like how you can have a flock of birds or a school of fish. what's a group of skills called?

CONCEPTUALIZATION- We're all anthropomoprhpized aspects of thinking processes. Perhaps a "cluster", like a nerve cell cluster in the brain?

ENCYCLOPEDIA- That wouldn't be accurate. We aren't all representative of parts of the brain. Endurance is associated with the lower intestine. Pain Threshold correlates to all the nerve endings on the body...

DRAMA- How about a crew? Or a troupe?

PHYSICAL INSTRUMENT- We aren't a traveling circus, nancy.

CONCEPTUALIZATION- Ooh, maybe a colony. An independent micro-group.

AUTHORITY- What does that make Harry, then? Our territory?

SHIVERS- Our natural habitat.

LOGIC- Does the answer change depending on the skill family? I elect that intellect skills should be referred to as a "ponder". A ponder of intellect skills.

INLAND EMPIRE- A "sensation" of psyches? An impression?

PHYSICAL INSTRUMENT- Physique skills should be a "flex". Or an ice hockey or volleyball team, because there are six of us.

REACTION SPEED- Can motorics be a "whoosh"? Or a "swish". Or a "whizz"!

COMPOSURE- I don't want to be part of a "whizz".

CONCEPTUALIZATION- I'm starting a new thought project on this one. We have to come up with the right name for a group of skills. Otherwise, how will people refer to us?

THOUGHT GAINED: FLOCKS, HERDS, AND SCHOOLS

You know that a group of mallards is called a sord. A group of hawks is called a cask. A group of ravens is called an unkindness. Those are just birds- what do you call a group of bodily and mental functions given personality? It has to be exquisite, perfectly capturing the ephemeral and unknown nature of these furies. Categorize and label what they are, together. That will bring you a step closer to understanding them.
