A small (big) update/catch-up post for anyone curious on where I've been and where I'll be:

The past couple of years, I've been pretty M.I.A. I'd feel bad if I'd have any remaining folks who cared about me are left in the dark (as much as that anxious part of me will try to convince myself otherwise, I did build genuine connections on here 🥰). There also just might happen to be old inactive friends of mine who might randomly wonder where that random raspberry girl on tumblr ended up only to come back to see that she might've disappeared,,, or been sold on the dark web 🧐. There could also be any eventual new people to our small community to wonder that. So y’know what 🤔 I'll keep a little post up top so people can know (also, it'd be nice to give a speech once more to my imaginary audience c:)
With that said, I'll ramble about sum up under the cut:
So, where ya been, Rasp?
Well, to start things off, I'm doing really good :D looking back, I might've given people the vibe I was majorly depressed and that might've woried some people 🥲 it was never anything major, but I was still dealing with some teenage girl stuff, and this blog and ship and the fanbase I joined because of it became my mini safe spot. Simply put, I didn't have any sources to be able to properly word that to. I have that now and feel much more grounded and capable, and that's all I could've wanted years ago :)
You might've already guessed, but I've been busy lately, with adult stuff specifically. Yup, the fandoms resident little sister is grown now. She's working!! And she's in college!!! Wow!!1! I HAVE BASICALLY NO MORE FREE TIME!!!!!!!11! :DDD That, and a bunch of other reasons have made it harder to focus on one thing at a time, which is why I've been pretty scarce on this app, and online on general.

Uhhh... good question. Fine, I suppose 😗 kinda just existing right now. I have a feeling a lot of that has to do with me being unmediacted at the moment, so I haven't been able to do a lot of the things I love the past few years. Sooo... if you're wondering why I never posted those fics I teased in the past, that's why 🥲 I have a feeling I will one day, though. Just a matter of time. Speaking of, let's go into my last point:

Mmm not quite. I've been popping in every couple of months, and I might keep doing that. But I definitely won't be as active as I used to. Couple reasons:
I mentioned a lot of reasons why, but I've been. Very busy 🥲 being online hasn't been at the forefront of my mind lately, so I've decided to not stress about it right now. Like I mentioned before, I'd like to come back to all this one day, but that's not now. Speaking of:
As much as I feel bad saying this, once the show ended, the ship and its fandom got really quiet. For me that makes it harder to participate in things if there's not a large community. I've joined other fandoms cuz of that, but not like this one... this fandom was special...... *looks off into the distance*
Bonus reason that ties into the last one: a lot of my friends are inactive with me not having any way to reach out, and that makes meeee very sadddd 😔 So if anyone I've met happens to see this:

at first i thought this was sent to my spam and was like….. “very weird moment to send an ask about a now deleted post made almost 12 hours ago” BUT then i realized
i am very okay!!!! i’ve been seeing a lot of posts in the sdra tags recently that have me a bit like… side eyeing some people but. my minor crisis’s/“wh… where are you guys hearing this information?” aside, yeas!! mostly it is just funny, but it’s never like… emotionally weighing on me ajsjsjs
i have been…. gennntly considering like. answering the asks i have now and then closing my inbox and making this blog inactive (just keeping it up as an archive) cuz. liiike. it’s hard being in the fandom as long as i have because i see a new person and boom they’re interacting with six people who i know to be pro shippers/in some cases. literal abusers, and so then i feel icky interacting with them/don’t reach out, and then i blink and there’s 30 new friend groups, and it’s just… a Lot?
buuut. ya know. ultimately, i’ve been here since imaginefanganronpas and that whole group, been here through all the insta drama, been here for wikitoria and vvao and on and on and like. akskkdkdkdks i’ll probably never leave, even if sometimes the environment is. a bit stressful to be in.
i feel like a lot of people who are active right now don’t have context/information on linuj and sdra2 past. the very very basic game, and so like. the experience they’re having with it as people who are getting english translations of dra and sdra2 and can consume everything as quickly as possible is very different to the one i had when like. getting into the game as people were working on dissecting the chapter that had just released, and dra still had like… only the prologue translated.
uhhh tl;dr - the tumblr fandom is more active now than it’s been in a long while and it’s full of people with a very different understanding of sdra than i have, who i’m not always…. keen on interacting with because they tend to interact with people who i know to be gross but who are good at hiding this, and it’s just. a lot! if i reached out and chatted im sure things would be fine but for assorted reasons, it’s hard to do that.
i need to be more conscientious of the different understandings people have but it’s always been hard for me to process the scope of people who see my posts and to account for what they’re bringing with them when they come to talk to me,, rlly i just need to work up the energy to make my analysis posts and talk to people but. aksjdjdjkd yk
(also regarding my energy sucking/my not wanting to reach out to people: there is reasons for that but i’m going to talk to my counselor. literally in less than 24 hours and i hope that then i’ll like….. b able to get something done about all that so! it’s okay <3)
…tldr again: ultimately everything’s okay im just stressed and i’ve and rlly rlly bad experiences here before (as we all know akskdksk) so it makes handling the reasons i’m side eyeing people harder, and it’s harder to get over those past fears rn because im. Really Stressed ajsjdjsj.

I'm a former archivist's assistant working with mostly university collections.

Man, deleting those inactive blogs was like pulling teeth but it had to be done. ;_;
I just don't have that much muse for THAT many canons anymore but the OC's live on.
Uhhh this is now basically my OC RP dump uncategorized. With some canonical references that supports my OC's our our OC's setting more specifically. E.G. if our OC's play in Animal Crossing, I will gladly muse Tom Nook and Blathers! Ciël also has a Pokémon version so I'll obviously muse Pokémon too, etc, etc.!
Same applies for Lynna! She was created for multifandom purposes too.
Other OC's are more selective with verses.

Sorry for the inactivity here. So uhhh, I'm working on something caused by my exposition to a lot of stuff with detectives and phantom thieves lately...
So i'm just making a shameless promo for the @detectiveichijouji blog, which is basically the 02 group sleuthing around and having to deal with Arsenemon (my fanmade digimon) and a trio of misfits (Soleil/Lune/Étoile)
I'll warn you this is not an AU setting, it's pretty canon-compliant. After a good time writing AUs and "canon divergent" stuff, it's good to work on something close to the canon again.
I'll just compile all the 02TB rough panel drafts released on DP with a recap of the series once all of them are released. Hikari and Miyako had been released already, so i'm guessing the next might be either Iori or Takeru (if they're going in Jogress pair order)

Active WIPs I Like:
The Golden Rose (x) - Absolutely amazing game as I’m sure everyone knows. I’m terrible and have no idea who I’m going to end up with as my RO. Hearts will be broken, that I’m certain of. I get guilt tripped everytime by my friends by posting the scene where Hadrian’s crying after you turn him down as punishment.
West of Autumn Boulevard (x) - Love the creepy vibes of this game! The ending really got me on the edge of my seat. Really scratched my horror itch in COG form. All you Alexmancers are on my shitlist 👀 because I’m sure that man is up to no good.
God of the Red Mountain (x) - Beautifully written game and has so much customization and branching it takes my breath away. Another game where I honestly have no clue who I’m gonna end up with. Thinkin Kaski but uhhh it’s a toss up ngl….
To The Whistling Winds (x) - I don’t talk about it on my writing blog but I’m an awful awful theme park nerd and this WIP was basically homebrewed for me. Theme parks and weird fae stuff? Shout out to Bubs for making my dream WIP.
Supernatural in New York (x) - I love urban fantasy so much??? And SiNY is basically a classic wip, at this point, I’ve been following it for so long. The world is just so big? I really am looking forward to seeing where it goes.
Nevermoore (x)- Imagine, you’re in an episode of the Twilight Zone. Literally trapped in a town with a bunch of people displaced across time. No one can die and no one can get out. Sounds pretty interesting right?? Right. Now go read this game.
Porthencrawl Witness (x) - Another weird town. But this time you’re in on the weirdness or you were rather. Things are weirder now and you have to figure out why. Time travel - pocket dimension shenanigans ensue.
Inactive(?) WIPs I Like:

Mortal Hero (x) - Really not a surprise that I love a game that features mythology heavily. Any game that lets me romance Mercury is a good game to me.
Model Citizens (x) - Raf….. my heart bleeds for you. This is an oldie but a goodie. Also a Superhero game where you basically play as Louis Lane-esque MC with a tragic supervillian EX.
Reports from Philomenia (x) - There is not enough good sci-fi games??? Like honest to god aliens from outer space sci-fi but here it is.
Abysm’s Veil (x) - Basically you are a VENGEFUL MERMAID SPIRIT or maybe not? Play and see what happens :) Lovely game and is my go to sleeper recommendation.
Son of Satan: The Mortal Coil (x) - Loved this game! The world is just amazing and the writing is top notch. Gives me Good Omen Vibes though, a tad more serious I’d argue.
Guinevere (x) - People really ought to play this tbh. There’s like two full books out. If you’re bored and want to spend the night playing some Arthurian Legend WIP here ya go. Be aware that it’s genderlocked female though.
Dead WIPs (call them RIPS):
Monsters of New Haven High (x) - EXTENSIVE amount of customization. It goes like the Dragon Age Origins Route in that whatever character origin you don’t pick for your MC that origin is then a SIDE CHARACTER in the game. Like how crazy is that ?????? I don’t usually care for High School settings but this got my attention easily.
The Beast in the Castle (x) - GOD This WIP is like my Lost Lenore…. I cry and grovel and its grave of a forum page occasionally imagining what could have been… I am an absolute fool for Beauty and the Beast stories and having a IF version had me SO excited.
Children of the Gods (x) - Another mythology WIP that I used to love? Like gave me some Percy Jackson vibes for sure but was also different enough that it was unique enough for me to enjoy it separately from that. RIP indeed.
Heaven’s Dog: Eulogy of Who I Used to Be (x) - Basically a Magic Girl WIP. I loved Cardcaptor Sakura and Sailor Moon growing up so this was like nostalgic in a way…

uHHH i’m in my last semester of nursing school. august graduation. i would never put myself through nursing school again if i had the choice lmfao. quite literally the hardest thing i’ve done.
i don’t watch a whole lot of anime, or play many games mainly due to time constraints. i just circle back to comfort material. but i read a lot of manga (since i’m a fast reader).
idk if anyone really enjoys my writing, but i do love doing it! i’m slow to reply and honestly deeply enjoy just someone who can vibe with that and yell at me about their character in between. but i know it’s not everyone’s preference. sooo dkjnksdn

MULTI OR SINGLE: single. the idea of a multi-muse is exhausting to me. but i am also very lazy and can only hyper-fixate on one character at a time so .. there you go, haha!
——— FLUFF / ANGST / SMUT ! ♡
FLUFF: fluff is so fun to write! i enjoy soft and sweet interactions between characters, but i will confess that outside of drabbles, writing threads that are solely just .. fluff drains me (and maybe this is just an area of writing i need to work on better), but eventually i don’t know how else to progress the thread – especially if it's with characters that are meeting one another for the first time and i have no plot to refer back to. now .. fluff with some sort of deeper conversation, just two characters getting to know one another on an intimate level to build on their current relationship? i absolutely adore writing that!
ANGST: i relish in story-driven angst, so not necessarily angst for the sake of putting characters through pain, but for the development that comes with it and the eventual after. there’s something really enjoyable about writing a difficult, stressful situation between two characters and seeing how that shapes the overall dynamic between them. but i do .. prefer it to lead to something positive. writing never ending pain with a character that will always try to overcome that or find a way to deal with it just becomes so unvaried its tiring. BUT, writing angst with this notion of .. how will this character push past this and what will this do/better/worsen in their relationship? that's always fun for me!
SMUT: so i actually enjoy writing smut, i find it to be a neat challenge trying to balance introspection with the actual action and of course avoiding being repetitive/overly flowery. i don’t have a whole lot written on the blog to represent that, but the creative process is always fun when the opportunity arises. (i also am way too shy to directly ask someone if they’d like to write a romantic ship/assume no one would want to so .. that leaves minimal chance for it to happen in the first place lmfao!) personally, i have held back from writing it in the ways i’d prefer to out of fear of being too explicit. mainly because i feel like everyone has a threshold for how they’d prefer to digest reading about sex if that makes any sense. some people prefer poetic introspection that may not directly describe the act, whereas others enjoy it being crude. and i like to write a blend of both? so heh.
PLOT / MEMES: i cannot stress this enough. i will always prefer to plot over random memes. memes are super fun once i’ve established an understanding of character dynamics & general direction.but sometimes i get a meme and i genuinely feel stressed trying to be creative enough to come up with something with no established relationship. and tbh, i find it very rare that someone will take the unprompted meme and enjoy it enough to turn it into a thread. so it feels like expended effort whereas plotted material can often help me give more motivation to respond to memes. i know its not everyone’s cup of tea which is why i always try to come to the table with something. but that’s very hard to do if the other isn’t interested or willing to bounce things off with me. I DUNNO. plot first, memes second for me though.

why i chose my url:
@bookplush- i’m actually not cool and my mom signed me up for tumblr lmao (again i was barely 13) so she chose this one because i was being indecisive about a username. she just looked at my bookshelves and named what she saw (books and plush toys [like stuffed animals]) and said bookplush! and i liked it and there would be so many broken links if i change it now so i just kept it
@pjozz- this one is my fandom moodboard blog (inactive now) and originally it was called heroesofemotions but that. is a dumb name. so i changed it and i wanted something simple and short but had pjo in it so!! pjozz it is
@unwieldyink- i actually don’t really like this url much anymore. i made this blog (my writing/fic blog) in like 2017 or something and i wanted to pick something that sounded ~writery~ and ~poetic~ but now i just think it sounds silly and pretentious lol but AGAIN i would have so many broken links and there have been so many times that i’ve looked for a blog and not been able to find it bc they change their url that i kind of. never change urls ever now so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@necrodiangelo- this is my nico aes blog and the url is obviously nicodiangelo but necro instead of nico. i am very proud of this pun everyone look at it look at it now.

1. Why did you choose your url?
I wanted something that referenced the natural world or anatomy or evolution in some way and I landed on the one that I thought had the prettiest latin name. I was almost bisynapsids which would have been cool too. I played around with edgy names of bones and stuff before settling on the name for one of my favorite wild animals
2. Any sideblogs? If you have them name them and why you have them
ok I never understood how “sideblogs” worked so I just made an entirely new tumblr when I wanted to focus myself on ba/ccano. I had a really fun time for a few years and the community was wonderful but I ran out of juice last year and haven’t been back. if anyone’s interested it’s @eyes-like-a-gentle-knight (wordy, I know). there was so much good novel content I loved it. still waiting on those last two books narita!
3. How long have you’ve been on tumblr?
hmm almost nine years? but this blog is a freshy and clean 6 months old
4. Do you have a queue tag?
never saw the point? I don’t use a queue and when I do I like to be mysterious
5. Why did you start your blog in the first place?
obsession with near from death note and also I was into other anime like ouran and [redacted] and [redacted] but death note had me in it’s grip age 15 so when I found this site which had lots of pictures of near from death note I was like :o
I had no idea what I was doing! I just reposted a bunch of screenshots with captions like ouran posts 2/3 or something. no I had to learn the Culture of this site purely by osmosis
6. Why did you choose your icon?
princess mononoke is one of my favorite movies and the image of san in that scene was always so powerful to me. I didn’t mean for a dog theme I swear I’m not even a dog person
7. Why did you choose your header?
I wrote a big post about this when I chose it because I like to talk about every one of my decisions but basically:

not an critical moment so I won’t get sick of seeing it

in my foolish youth I reposted a pic from facebook about tesla that got 100,000+ notes (I think) and got my my first ever rude anon!!!! they just told me not to repost without a source and called me an asshole which as a sensitive 15 year old was very difficult to handle/s. but on here it’s my cql rewatch lb about the atmosphere of ep1. I had a good number of notes on my previous blog for some cql txps but I don’t like to see the notes so I’m glad I’m cut away from them.
however the mdzs/cql fandom has been the only other place I’ve gotten rude anons so. with fame comes tragedy ig/s. they called me a dummy :(

yeah I also work and I can’t have my phone in the lab so for 17 hrs a day I’m asleep or away which is very good but most of the rest of the time I’m on here...which is fine tbh I like it and I know I have nothing better to do rn. school will start again and I won’t be able to be on here as much :(
14. Did you have a fight/argument with another blog once? Who won?
I feel like usually nobody “wins” these fights. I am bad at articulating my point and I hate confrontation so I usually just block but when I get an anon trying to argue with me I’ll sometimes respond and I feel like I win those? but like, it’s anon. I’m just responding. like someone sending me flack for tagging my hate for bad ship and I gave this long-winded and lbr kind of annoyingly self-righteous response that at the time I felt very pleased with. but it didn’t work bc I kept getting anons trying to convince me or discuss with me why they shipped it and im like idk!!! go away!!!
okay early in the year I got an ask like “how do you feel about wwx being lame in cql” and I got kind of defensive bc I thought they were one of those diehard novel fan but they came back and were like “oh sorry I’m into the donghua and you have a point and this isn’t productive to discuss” so I kind of feel like I won? 17. why i chose this url: when I was really little my older sibling would start their diary entries with "dear fatcakes,". they told me they had the patent for the phrase, but I wanted to be just like them, so I started one that I would address "mr. fatcakes", as a means of circumventing their patent. I thought I was a very clever 9 year old at the time. then when I made my first tumblr I thought blogging=journaling so I gave it the same name. I never bothered trying to come up with anything else.
18. following: 34, tho a handful of them are inactive blogs from people who moved on or passed away, who I'm still following for sentimental reasons.
19. followers: 412 but like. most of them are inactives from my hamilton phase I think??
20. average hours of sleep: uhh I think it averages out to like 4 or 5 hours a night but I either sleep for ten hrs or Not at all. depends on the evening

22. do i play any instruments: uhhh I played the clarinet and guitar in middle school for band, and in my second year of high school, back when nyx and I first started dating, he taught me the basics of how to play his saxophone. I'm woefully out of practice with any of those instruments, though, you know how it goes. back in elementary school I taught myself piano, though, and I can still bang out simple tunes. I think the most complex things I still know how to play are the vocaloid songs I memorized when I was 13/14. mostly I just stick to like disney music and nursery rhymes when I'm playing bc they're easy and the ppl around me will recognize it
23. what am i wearing: just my red plaid pajama pants and a grey tank bc I was doing laundry
24. dream job: uhhh god idk. If I didn't have to worry about paying for shit the kind of work I'd actually spend my time doing.... probably making art, being a counselor/tutor for the kids who stay after school, uhhhh and sewing/mending.

this is a somewhat long tag game, and I have no self control about how much I talk about myself so I'm gonna put it under the cut :)
1. why did you choose your url?
I’m a mathgeek! that's it! Starting in elementary school I went to the junior high school for math classes in the morning, and then at the end of junior high I went to the high school for my math classes again, and was always in math with the grade older than me. I took AP Calc as a junior and got a 5 on the AP test, so it kinda fits I guess. I actually made the moniker for my first email account when I was 13 so I could make a facebook account.
2. any side blogs? if you have them, name them and why you have them.
LMAO I LITERALLY HAVE 4. Anyway first I have two writing blogs: @i-am-rmt for poetry, and @iamrmt for prose. They act as catalogues of my writing! The prose one is basically inactive, but seeing as it’s simply a catalogue I’m not gonna delete it. Then there is @yiling-who my side blog for The Untamed - yeah that Chinese drama that took tumblr by storm. Big thanks to @hoebutnotreally for convincing me to watch it! Lastly is my side blog for DKB @dkbtho . DKB is a rookie kpop group that I’m currently obsessed with! They’re so cute and they self produce and also do all their own choreography and are such skilled individuals and also are so funny

This year on November 23rd will be the 10 year birthday of mathgeek101!

“qute” it’s on sooo many of my posts because I almost exclusively post from my queue..
5. why did you start your blog in the first place?
both my sisters had tumblrs, and I guess I just thought “neat, I’ll make one too.” I remember sitting on the couch during thanksgiving break while my family was watching Harry Potter (the seventh movie maybe?) and designing my blog

oh it’s me! My icon has always been me, because this blog is just a messy collection of my interests. My friend (@hoebutnotreally) did my makeup and hair and we took pictures (I posted some here too!)

oh it’s me again! I took that picture on a whim with a silly snapchat filter and I thought it turned out neat, so I hid my icon on mobile and I think my blog looks pretty neat that way.

But all in all, if a mutual unfollows me, I’m not gonna have a meltdown or anything

eh, they’re pretty dumb, and I’m pretty neutral about them, but I also understand that it’s problematic.

yes! I really enjoy talking about myself I guess! Wow! Most people honestly do love talking about themselves, and it’s even easier when it’s online and I don’t have to deal with people’s real time reactions :)
