Waqt bhi ajeeb re rehm lagta hai kabhi kabhi. Aur apna aap bewaqoof. Waqt guzray jaraha hota hai lekin phir bhi dar lagta rehta hai hai kay kesay guzray ga. Yeh sara waqt jo uskay bager guzarna hai.
Yeh woh aag hai na jalaaye tou kahin chain bhi na aayay.
Ali Sethi kehta hai kehta hai khel jayen ya laut jayen, sochna hai. Lekin dil hai kay yahin laut jata hai murr murr kar. Dil maan he nahi raha, sambhal he nahi raha. Khud ko behlanay per tula hua hai. Dil naatwan hai chalaa kahan, kisi raah guzr ka nahi nishaan.
Last night I was describing to saad how I felt, and he said, aesa lagraha hai jese you’re on unchartered territory. Aur waqaye aesa he lag raha hai. Lagta hai me pata nahi kahan aakar kho gayi hun. Na yahan Mujhe raasta pata hai, na koi makeen nazar aata hai. Me kisi say raasta pooch bhi lun tou lagta hai woh nahi bata sakengay, aesa lagta hai yahan koi nahi aaya hoga.
Me pata nahi kab kesay yahan aagayi, aur ab waapsi ka raasta bhi nahi nazar aata. raasta ho bhi tou dil maanta he nahi waapsi per. Dil tou manzil dhoondne kay junoon me diwana he hogaya hai. Dil ko samjhaati hun kay manzil shayyad hai he nahi, murr jao, waapsi kay rastay say tou phir bhi waakfiyat hai, aagay walay rastay ka tou kuch nai pata. Pata nai kitna khoufnak ho, Mujhe tou wesse he raastay samajh nahi aatay kabhi.
Phir Ali Sethi kehta hai woh jo hogaye kisi per fida woh naa koi baat maanein
Yeh woh rog hai jo karay fanaa, hain issi kee dastaanain.
Phir me vasl ki shaam ko yaad karti hun tou sochti hun us aik raat kay sadqay me shayyad hassi khushi khud pata nai kitni aur dard bhari raatain charha dun.
Yeh jis raastay per mein chal rahi hun Mujhe khauf aata hai. Mujhe khauf aata hai kay is raastay say thori der kar laut jaanay kay bawajood mene yeh raasta dobara wapis chuna hai. Dil kisi aur kee kya meri he nahi sun raha. Kabhi kabhi sochti hun kamzor hogayi hun phir sochti hun jo himmat is kelye chahye woh kabhi kabhi Mujhe khud heraan kardeti hai. Pata nahi kahan say aajati hai.

Lekin is pooray saal mein jo Aik vasl kee raat thi, shayyad me poora waqt ussi ki talaash me yeh sab kar rahi thi. Kabhi yeh nahi suna wesse kay vasl he shayyad manzil hai, kyunke dil ki khwahishein rukti kahan hain. Wo tou deedar chahta, woh vasl chahta hai. Dobara. All over again. Again and again.
Kabhi kabhi apnay Khuda say mukhaatib hun tou kehti hun thora rehm karay. Thora rehm karday, koi moujza karday. Ya Mujhe bata day kay mein laut jaun ya agay jaati rahun, manzil milay gi ya fanaa ya tabah.
