Can we talk about Crystal, Chiffon, and Ronnette? I love seeing people's hcs for what's up with them but I feel like I don't see enough talk about them. Are they from the same planet as Audrey 2 and just in a different disguise? Are they psychic? Can they see the future but do nothing about it but sing? Are they just normal people constantly getting possessed by the narrative itself? Are they just guessing and really good at being right coincidentally?

Seems accurate to me. I haven’t read much of the comic (mostly just the parts with ‘Mervin Goodsmith’ (because I have a problem)). And I personally have a lot of beef with it 😭😭 but one thing the did was right was how fruity they made the dentist. Like so much sass. So much silliness. And his luscious locks?? A straight man could never.

He just does not give us any hints of homosexuality also he has a child.
3. Dr. Phebous Farb
Ok he kinda seems gay like I can't explain it,but like he passes as straight. Also he litterly sticks his fingers in Seymours mouth like twice and it's not sexual so he can at the very least keep it in his pants.
2. Orin scrivello
Come on we all know it. (Bouns points because this is douglas sills and he's actually gay) I could go through and rank which orin Is gayer but it really doesn't matter he's just gay there's no denial.
Now you may be thinking,who could be number 1? Aren't those the only dentists?

I'm calling comic orin mervin because both @/calliemity and @/mellowyellow56 called him that on different occasions. This man is the whole fruit basket,he litterly struts into the office. The way he leans back In that one pannel?? Come on! Gayest man I've ever seen and I've looked in a mirror.

Guys remember when when they were going to make a new little shop of horrors movie?
With like, Chris Evans (Aka Captain America) as the Dentist?? And Scarlett Johansson as Audrey???? I feel like we don’t talk about about that as much as we should 🧍♀️
Like first of all, the 1986 movie (and its actors) are SO iconic, it’s hard to imagine the characters any other way. Like I’ve never watched any of Chris Evan’s movies, but Steve Martin’s performance was genius i can’t see him beating that. And Elle Green is, like, THE Audrey.
That being said,
I really really wish this movie had been made.
…If only to create more dentist x reader content.

Am I attracted to Chris Evans? No. I’m not often attracted to men or women in general. Do I think he’s considered conventionally attractive and he would lead to a slew of Orin x reader content? I mean… probably? He is a movie star, i think. I’d imagine so.
The point. I want this man, and I am STARVED. I need the internet to feed me. Give me horribly out of character Fanfiction where the reader feeds him soup. Give me dentist appointments that violate the health code(and probably human rights, too).

Oh wow awesome! I like the idea of the followers, it makes sense they’d maintain order bec they’d probably move a lot faster than like a giant plant. I also really like the horror aspect of it-
In all of these apocalypse type lsoh AUs I’m always super endeared to Orin being the first revived or whatever. Like I feel like him being in this situation is always really funny 😭
Also, what exactly are the follower’s made of? Like, actual flesh or like… digested flesh 😭 or plant stuff? Do they look like humans and think like humans or are they just mindless zombie things?

I’m interested in making a fan fiction of my own about this honestly. I was thinking maybe I could make an oc to resurrect all the characters, somehow. (A while ago I talked with the person about a necromancer Arthur but sadly i can’t find that post 😭 it is a hilarious idea tho, that I’m lowkey considering-)
Maybe the oc could be like a hippie or a witch or just have general knowledge of the supernatural. After plants start taking over the world, she tries to resurrect the “man who started this all” to hold him accountable and/or see if there’s anything he can do to stop this. Lowkey tho, Seymour might go into a depressive state from the guilt 😭 then again he has a bit of a savior complex so maybe he’s be really desperate to defeat the plants?
Maybe Audrey isn’t fed to the plant and after Seymour dies she enlists her help to bring him back?
Or maybe my oc meets a weakened and hungry Audrey II who’s willing to do just about anything to survive, even if that means (temporarily?) assisting in the downfall of its species. I feel like an alien plant would more feasibly be able to bring people back from the dead lol.
If any of you guys have any ideas about my potential story, or general apocalypse au ideas, I’d be glad to here!! :D

Controversial opinion:
Christian borle was not a good orin and arguably the worse "recorded" one" let me explain
I'm not really a big fan of Christian borle in the first place,he cheated on SUTTON FOSTER and is allegedly kind of a asshole but people just let him get away with that. But I'm not hear to talk about him as a person and not even him as a actor just him in this role.
Now why did I say recorded? I based this off of cast recordings and YouTube videos,so maybe borle was good live. Maybe.
Ok it starts off and immediately he sounds bored throughout and it sounds like he's trying to do a voice but he's not really doing a good job of it. Also he like puts emphasis on "bash in its head" which is good I like that but when he says "you'll be a dentist" there's no emphasis?? Like that's supposed to be this big reveal and ita just "yeah I'm a dentist you all knew that" and I mean we did but still.
The next time he emphasis something is the word pain but it's like he was told to speak up because he was being to quiet. Him intrupting the urchins Is also bland. I could go on but he's overall just not campy or really stand out.
Being different is like really important with the dentists like they are all different from eachotther but they still have the same elements.
Douglas sills does this thing were he holds the note and it sounds kinda oprea-ish(idk how to describe it),franc luz does his whole little den-e-tist thing,Taran killam acte like he's on nitrous oxide,Russell Nielsen has like a higher voice and is more flamboyant,Peter McNally is pretty simmaler to Steve Martin's but he's still really unique,and speaking of Steve martin loom how amazing Steve is! He had no Steve martin to base his performance on!.
In conclusion,don't think Christian should have been casted as orin. His singing is obviously not bad but to be orin you gotta act you can't just be good at singing.

This is gonna be long, buckle up.
im not okay- im new to yu gi oh and just starting the series bcuz my best friend likes it. i didnt think i would be crying my eyes out over an antagonist and im impresed in the best way possible; Pegasus is just everything to me rn.
The way he talks to his monsters as if they were his children, his devotion to bring back his wife and how his house is filled with her memory is just so sweet and so sad. I feel so bad for him, i wanna hug him and be by his side (more now than ever since i saw the gruesome way they took his millennium piece away).
I just, relate to him in so many tiny ways and i joked around when i first met him about how i wanted him as a dad but, honest to god? rn I feel like he would be the best father im existence.
Anyway, just thoughts.
