TBH thana isn’t viable at lower ranks, the debuff isn’t significant enough to slow gens/healing :X
{{ okay I honestly have no idea who this is or where this suddenly came up,
but,
that isn’t gonna stop me from answering!
Yeah of course, like a lot of perks similar to thana, like say Huntress’ Lullaby ( minus the hex part of course, aha ), even if the perk is at its’ full potential, tier I rankings of the perks usually won’t have much of an impact. It’s meant to be like that, considering they’re usually one of the first perks the killer it’s associated with works.
I myself actually run thana, but it’s at tier III ( consdering i’m usually playing my p3 lvl50 piggy ), yet still if you only have one person injured or downed, the buff still isn’t really going to do much. it’s sort of meant to motivate you to hurt more than one person & not really go for the sort of injure-then-down a survivor play like normal.
Plus, if you run it with other perks, it can work quite well! Just like every other perk, even if it isn’t the best or most effective, if you combine it with the right other perks, it can work wonders! When i run thana, I usually run nurse’s calling right with it, since thana pushes survivors to instantly try & heal everyone up. Or if you want to, you can combine it with overcharge so if you damage a gene & have a few survivors injured, there’s a big possibility you can set back their progress on the gene!
Perks are weird, plus i’m not experienced enough w/ the Nurse to know how to use her perks to a full advantage, but you can make it work, even if it’s only tier I my pal ; , )

𝐋aurie could feel a gentle drop of her heart as she listened to Tommy’s tired venting. Oh god, how she felt the same. It seemed like every moment, they were being torn apart from eachother, both literally & metaphorically. There was no time to rest, no time to gather reassurance & support, it was all some sort of sick torturing-test that NOBODY knew why it was needed. She carefully lifted one of her hands to meet his, kindly covering the cut & rough skin that was entertwined with his soft hair. He was tired, exhausted, they all were, but seeing it on Tommy rather than someone else at the campfire pulled a very painful & saddening way at her heartstrings.
“ I know you’re tired, Tommy. I wish there was something I could do or say to help,
but, I can’t. “
Her voice was much more soft & quiet than before. It was her instincts, he was distressed, bringing out her caring & comforting nature even if she didn’t directly notice. Her eyes watched carefully as he dug at his own skin, tightening the grip she had on his hand very subtly. She knew he had little to no regards for his own safety; & that ate away at Laurie’s heart every day. All she could do right now was give him her up-most attention; her entire body language shifting to do so. Compared to everyone else, Laurie would go the extra thousands of miles for Tommy with no second guesses, but, there is only so much someone else can do for another when it comes to emotional trials like these.
The girl swallowed hard at his question, “ What does it want “. It rang through her tired mind bitterly. Meeting Tommy’s eyes with her own, she could see the genuinly painful desire to know. It broke her heart in a way, because she couldn’t tell him why. She could almost FEEL the despiration behind Tommy’s words, so fucking fed up with all of this, just wanting to rest, even if that means death. It was so similar to her own wants that it hurt her.
“ I don’t think we’ll ever know why we’re here. “
The words were saddened, almost as if she was telling him that someone else had died; & she didn’t even know why it sounded this way.
“ But, we don’t need to know why to get through it. I know it hurts, & it’s breaking us apart in a very painful way, but I promise you, someday it’ll end. “
Laurie was unsure of her own words for a moment. Would they ever really escape this hell? Even if they physically did, the MENTAL toll had already long ago been collected, & it would bring horrid trauma even in a loving & comforting environment. God, how she wanted to tell him everything would be okay, to hold him close & help him lose this unshakable darkness. If they weren’t in such a dire situation every moment of their lives, she would do everything she could to counter the bad things in his life; a metaphorical guardian Angel. She knew exactly how it felt; having the cold, lifeless eyes of a killer fixated on you even before this place, it drained you of everything you had, & you didn’t know if you could go on anymore.
Removing her hand from his to fixate the last of the bandages, her ears perked up at the sound of her own name. Finally having the dressings complete, she pulled his jean jacket back over the now-cared for wound, looking back up to Tommy. His statement brought a gentle smile to Laurie’s face, the girl more than overjoyed to atleast have somehow comforted him. The feeling of lonliness & abandonment was something she had felt almost every day of her life prior to being taken crudely by the Entity, the dull, numbing reminder filling the void around her. She brought her hand up to his non-injured shoulder, giving him a kind grin.
“ Of course. You’ll never be alone, Tommy. Even if you may physically not have anyone around, you’ll always be in my heart, & though I’m just some roughed up girl, I hope that’s enough.
You’re an unforgettable man, & you’ll always have us to cheer you on through it all. “
