What is wrecker is the one who doesn’t make it?? Most people thinks it’s hunter and while it would be tragic if we lost him, if we lose wrecker it’s going to be gut wrenching for hunter. Hunters lost everyone in his squad except wrecker. Strong, steadfast, loyal wrecker. But what if wrecker sacrifices himself to save another batcher? Whether hunter was going to sacrifice himself but wrecker stopped him and did it instead. He takes a shot for crosshair, echo, or omega. Or worse, tech. Tech, his older brother he couldn’t pull to safety (no fault of his own) tech who could be cx 2 and is helping the rebellion and gets blown off a cliff or ledge. Tech who already fell once and wrecker will be damned before that happens again on his watch. (You cant tell me doesn’t feel guilty or pain over that). Just wrecker who has a childlike sense of wonder but is still mentally mature and knows the probability of all of them making them out is slim. Just wrecker…

“I had no intentions to ever let you or the order know that I’m still around,” Narah explained as she approached her former master, brushing the cloth from the object she carried. The grey fabric sank to the snow, revealing a staff in Narah’s grip. “But I deem handing you this more important than keeping my distance.”
“It’s Sith.” A single look was enough for Depa to tell this much.
“Yeah, I suppose so, too.”
Narah gave a little nod as she placed the staff in the hands of her once master, who struggled to defy the instinct that told her to back away from the relic.
Narah Kahlan (OC), a former Jedi and pirate captain during the Clone Wars whose crew mainly operates in the Outer Rim targeting ships of slavers, the Pyke Syndicate, and the Hutt Clan (full body under the cut, design & illustration by @sixleggedboar)
Depa tilted her head as her fingers grasped the artifact. It weighed little more than a full cup of tea, albeit its length topped her height.
Six finger-wide strands of black metal birthed the staff's shape. The steel ropes coiled around each other like the bodies of snakes, weaving a nest at one end, crowned by a sphere of red kyber crystal. It was as thick as the fist of a tall Togruta man and as polished as fine glass, with a dull light pulsing at its core.
Depa's lips clamped. An uncomfortable itch prickled in the roots of her teeth, and slimy, stale numbness sprouted on her tongue: the faint glint at the orb's heart breathed a chill upon the Jedi Master that made not her body but her soul shiver.
Depa’s eyes followed slender engravings that wound through the metal and melded into swirls and knots at the second end of the staff.
The flicker of the campfire almost devoured the ruby glow that bled from the orb into the engravings, streaming through the artifact, which rested horizontally in Depa's hands.
While her eyes studied the swirls and knots, she believed to hear whispers, panted syllables without content, but borne of insatiable hunger that filled her heart with fear.
A sharp sting struck her chest as she lifted her gaze from the patterns to seek Narah’s.
“How?” Depa asked. “How did you get your hands on a Sith artifact?” A slight tremble rattled her voice, unveiling how she began to dread the answer to the question she had posed in relief at the beginning of the conversation. “How are you still alive?”
I thought very long and hard about how to best introduce her and concluded that flashing out the crucial part of her background story as a little fic itself. Hence, you've just read a little snippet of

Not long before the Clone Wars erupt, a mysterious voice message reaches Depa Billaba. Mysterious because it's from her former padawan Narah Kahlan, who died three years ago during a mission gone wrong. Or so Depa believed.
When they finally meet again, Narah's in possession of a powerful Sith artifact, which leaves Depa with some pressing questions: What happened to her padawan? Why did Narah let the order believe she was dead? What changed that drove her to return? And, most important, is she still who Depa knew and taught, or she's walking on the verge of the dark side?

You know what I really like about Phee?
She is ride or die with these boys and Omega.
Need somewhere safe to lay low now that you're finished with Cid? Phee will take you to her home and see that you are welcomed like family. You need help tracking down intel on a top secret imperial project? Phee's on it. Want to break into an imperial prison and free a world class douchebag so you can break into an even more secure black ops site later? Phee's got you, no questions asked.
Yeah, back in the first half of season two it probably was just that she had the hots for Tech and liked having some extra muscle with her on her adventures. But by the time she takes them to Pabu, it's super clear that she cares deeply about all of them. Lyana tells us that Phee has never brought anyone to Pabu with her but we see her bring the squad there like it was the most natural obvious thing in the galaxy.
Yeah she and Tech had their almost-thing but even now when Tech is (supposedly) gone, she sticks around. It was never just about what she wanted from him. If it was, she'd be gone too. Maybe she stuck around a little for Tech's sake, to honor him, but mostly it's about how much she loves them all as her own family.
And just like CF99, she'll do anything for her family.
