Not sure how much you know about Sonic.EXE but as the resident Eclipse enjoyer I do want to ask you

If there was ever a sonic.EXE scenario where one of the big heroes went on a rampage, how do you think Eclipse would react?

Like would he go “damn thats crazy” then fuck off with the four remaining dark arms or would he at least stick around

I know a little about it but not much (Im not really into horror)

But I think he'd be like damn that's crazy and take off with the Dark Arms. Why get involved

Babies who are quiet/don’t cry or “low maintenance” are babies that are neglected. Crying is a primal instinct to ask for help, and babies that don’t cry are babies that have been left on their own devices despite their needs, they already know no one is coming for them

And it can be dangerous too, bcs u are unable to tell if they are sick or have a problem.

It can also be dragged into childhood and adulthood through different ways.

You don’t have to post this one (is a bit of a bummer) but like, I think toddler Shadow would have this issue

They get those baby shampoo’s “No Tears!” Brand and when toddler Shadow cries , Team Dark and Eclipse are about to explode the Shampoo’s factory

Also , is hard to know if Shadow ever meet any other hedgehog before Sonic ! They kinda imply he hasn’t based on his reaction to him.

My best guess is either Gerald already did his research prior to creating him (he knew he was biologically building a hedgehog after all) or Maria stepped in and did her own research

Still, Shadow must have grow up a bit alienated from his own origins (dark arms aside) up in the ark. Mobians (or hedgehog Mobians) probably have a set different of self care and customs Shadow must have missed despite Maria and Gerald’s best efforts.

I hope Gerald did his research, but yeah, I can see Shadow having some blind spots to his own care. But honestly, I think that makes it more interesting. Shadow's never been around another mobian before he came to Earth and it's awkward

I’M GONNA BE HONEST i never really thought about his age that much but i kinda just headcanon him to be in the 13-16 age range like a good amount of the rest of the cast is. At least physically and mentally anyway because of his appearance and how he acts. Like chronologically he’d be way younger because of when he was born just like how Shadow is a lot older

Me, planning how to torment Eclipse: it's because I love you

Something something about Eclipse feeling unloved and lonely and like he can't do anything right only to latch onto toddler Shadow so damn hard.

Because for once, his brother not only loves and wants to be around him but needs him.

A popular hc is that Rouge is the reason why Shadow’s quills are so well kept. So not only would she be in charge of taking care of his fur but his quills too. Eclipse has none of these! Big sister Rouge has toddler Shadow for all the evening lmao

This made me think about so many things. When Shadow was on the ark, did he learn how to take care of his quills and fur? Fur probably because it's not that difficult to care for and I could see Maria brushing him but quills?

I do think another hedgehog would of had to help him out with that because how would Rouge know about that.

But yeah, when she finds out about Toddler Shadow and see's Eclipse is doing nothing in that department, she's stepping in.

Eclipse anxiously watching her give toddler Shadow a bath in the sink and keeps saying, I don't think he likes it!!

(the real problem comes if Charmy gets distracted on his way back and doesn't return)

Silver is outside in the garden and he uses his powers to FLING Charmy away from the house (who's laughing and enjoying it) and then he gardens until Charmy comes flying back and Silver does it again

I love the implication that this means Silver flings Charmy so far away it takes legit minutes for him to fly back again, lmao. Vector and Espio would probably be the tiniest bit concerned about this... but since Vector is also the guy who sent Charmy to (what I believe was a) nuclear waste dump of the remnants of Prison Island to gather a bunch of disks, it probably sticks with "tiniest bit". But throwing your children around is apparently actually quite good for their development and like sense of balance and what-not, so Silver is helping Charmy become a healthy adult in this way! Maybe XD
